Hello!
I was walking through the Corridor just going for a walk, To see if I could find anything cool. The halls where not to full. Most people I assumed where hanging out with friends, Hanging out in there respected common rooms, Doing homework in the library, Some where taking walks like me or the third years and up where at hogsmeade. I can't wait to go to hogsmeade.
My parents told me all about hogsmeade. They said it has a candy shop with walls of candy! They also told me about the shrieking shack! I was thinking of all of the candy I could eat, And how meany cavities someone would get if they ate all the candy.
As I was walking I saw a girl, A gryffindor. I knew she was gryffindor because of the red on her robes. She could have been in second year, She was tall and slender. She had ash blond hair? but it could have been honey blond? It was hard to tell from the lighting. She seamed like she could use some company... I took a deep breath. And walked up to the girl. "Hello! My names Quinn, Quinn Root!" I told her.

Taylor wandered down the corridors, once in a while taking a glance at one of the portraits on the walls, which, surprisingly, wasn't too boring, as they moved and talked.
Taylor was wearing her Gryffindor robes, of red and gold, with her blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail. Her blue eyes flickered around, taking in her surroundings. The corridors were nearly deserted, which wasn't a surprise. It was the weekend, which meant the older students were most likely in Hogsmeade, buying sweets in the candy shop, Honey-something, or just having fun in the wizarding village. Taylor sighed. All the other first and second graders were mostly having fun with friends, but her friends were doing their homework, which meant Taylor really didn't have anything to do.
For a brief moment, Taylor wondered if she could sneak out into Hogsmeade by passing herself off as a third year. She was pretty tall for her age, after all. But that idea was dismissed almost as quickly as it had come to her. She had heard that they had to have a permission form to go to Hogsmeade, and she had no idea where to get one.
Suddenly, a voice shook her out of her thoughts. 'Hello! My names Quinn, Quinn Root!'
Taylor jumped, and turned abruptly, her heart hammering. To her relief and surprise, there stood before her a girl about her age, maybe a few inches shorter, with shoulder-length dark hair and fair skin. Her eyes were hazel in color. Taylor hadn't seen her around before, but judging from the green on her robes, she was a Slytherin.
'Um, hi,' she said cautiously. 'I'm Taylor.'

When she talked to her she jumped a bit. She had blue eyes. The girl introduced herself as taylor "Oh-Sorry for scaring you!" She told taylor. She had her hair in a ponytail. "You looked lonely, So Might as well talk. Right?" She told Taylor. "So did you not want to study either?" She asked. They were standing in the hall with a few students passing them, A couple of them were talking with their friends, In groups of 1 all the way up to 4. 'They must have finished studying, Or just walking' she thought.
She was tall, Taler then Quinn by a few inches. "i'm assuming you're in gryffindor?, Based on your robes. I'm in slytherin!" Quinn told taylor, Semi-proudly. "Are you in your first or second year? You are pretty tall." She Told her. "I'm in my first year." Quinn told taylor.
"Sorry if I'm asking one too many questions" She told her. She was happy to have someone to talk to. Most of Quinn's friends were studying, Or out talking to their other friends. She seemed nicer than some of the slytherins, Quinn thought. "The halls seam so much emptier without the older students, Don't you think?" She asked.

"Oh-Sorry for scaring you!" Quinn told Taylor. "You looked lonely, So might as well talk. Right?" she added.
"So did you not want to study either?" Quinn continued, before Taylor had a chance to answer her last question. That made Taylor a bit annoyed, but she tried her best not to show it. After all, it wasn't like she didn't have experience with people who asked way too many questions without stopping.
As they stood there talking-or rather, Quinn was talking; Taylor was just listening- a few students passed them. Talking among themselves.
"I'm assuming you're in Gryffindor? Based on your robes. I'm in Slytherin!" Quinn said, a bit of pride creeping into her voice. Of course, a lot of people viewed Slytherin as a house filled with dark wizards and witches, but Taylor thought it just meant one was very ambitious, which was not a bad thing.
Meanwhile, Quinn was still talking. "Are you in your first or second year? You are pretty tall. I'm in my first year."
"Sorry if I'm asking too many questions." she added as an afterthought.
"The halls seam so much emptier without the older students, Don't you think?" Quinn asked one last question, probably for good measure.
Taylor smiled. "Don't worry about asking too many questions. A friend of mine is very curious too. " she paused. "And I guess the hall does seem kind of empty without the older students, although I kind of prefer it that way.
"I've already finished my homework, but I guess I don't really want to study, so that's part of why I'm here. I'm in Gryffindor, first year, although it's true I'm pretty tall for my age. And Slytherin is a nice house, congrats for getting in!"
She stopped to catch her breath.

Hello!
Taylor was out of breath from answering all of Quinns questions. 'She is a gryffindor! but wow, Shes in first year?' She thought to herself "So your are a gryffindor, You are very tall for your age!" Quinn told taylor, She told her how it was fine she was asking so many questions. She also told her how she finished all of her homework, And did not want to study. "I guess its the same for me, I don't think I have to study. Im mostly confident in my skills." Quinn nodded and closed her eyes, assuring herself that she did not need to study.
Making sure she did not need to study she grabbed a small toy from her pocket, And split it in half. She placed the broken toy on the floor. She got onto her knees in front of the toy. She reached into her robes again and puled out her wand. "Reparo" She said when she made a spiral with her wand. And the toy was fixed. "Yep don't need to study!" She grabbed the toy and shoved it into her poked along with her wand. She then got up off the floor. "Sorry just wanted to be sure" She apologized.

Hello!
"So you're are a Gryffindor, You are very tall for your age!" Quinn remarked when Taylor finished speaking. Taylor kind of wanted to tell her that she had already told her that, and thus her being tall was a well-established fact, but bit her tongue.
Then, Taylor reassured Quinn that it was fine she was asking so many questions, even though it really was a little white lie, and how she had finished all of her homework. "I guess its the same for me, I don't think I have to study. I'm mostly confident in my skills." Quinn agreed, and closed her eyes, as if trying to reassure herself of the statement.
To Taylor's surprise, she then produced a small toy from her pocket (who carried toys in their pockets?), and split it in half. Aw, Taylor though. Poor toy.
Quinn placed the broken toy on the floor, and got to her knees. She reached into her robes and pulled out something else, this time her wand. She made a spiral with her wand, muttering, "Reparo."
Immediately, the toy mended itself. Taylor had to admit, not bad.
"Yep, don't need to study." Quinn shoved the toy back into her pocket, and got up from the floor. "Sorry, just wanted to be sure." She apologized.
Taylor shook her head. "No, it's fine. That was pretty impressive!"

Quinn had a small feeling that she was annoying Taylor. Taylor watched Quinn break the toy and use the mending charm. She completed Quinn on her charm, Which made her smile "Thanks! I've been working on that charm!" "Why don't you try it? I'm sure you can do it!" She asked taylor. She looked at Taylor but quickly looked away, She was not the very best with eye contact. 'Taylor probably did not like eye contact either' Quinn thought.
Quinn reached into her pocket once more and pulled out the toy. The toy looked like a homemade toy, It was a fork, Plasick, With googly eyes glued to it. It also had a twist-tie twisted around the middle to make hands. There was nothing for the feet, It just sits on the floor, But not now. Now Quinn was offering the fork toy to Taylor to see if she wanted to practice the charm. "You don't have to if you don't want to!" Quinn told Taylor, As she just realized that maybe she could not cast the charm. Or needed more practice with it. The halls were filling up more, Which means that more people are finishing their studying. 'Or they are going to study' Quinn thought to herself.
