@Kim SatoWaking up on this Saturday morning, Bailey smiled and got up. Getting dressed, Bailey slipped on some leggings, a cute shirt and her black boots. She slipped her wand into her bag and put it over her shoulder.
Heading down to breakfast, Bailey got a whiff of pastry and chocolate. Are there…. Chocolate croissants for breakfast? Bailey thought excitedly. There are! her mind cheered.
Grabbing one she says down at the Ravenclaw table and she pulled her book out. As she finished her breakfast, she also finished her book. Deciding to go to the library if she had time later, she got up. Grabbing her bag, Bailey headed to her dorm to do some homework.
An hour later, she finished up her last assignment and decided to go to the library! The library at Hogwarts was one of Bailey’s favorite places at Hogwarts.
Walking down the corridors, she said hello to a few of her friends and continued on.
Arriving at the library, Bailey wandered the shelves and found a book that looked interesting. Walking with it to a table, Bailey pulled out a chair and put her bag on the table, sinking into her chair. It was the first Saturday of September.
Also the first Saturday Kim had spent at Hogwarts.
He'd intended on sleeping in because he was not a morning person. But apparently, fate had other ideas for him. A faint tapping sound could be heard outside his room.
Kim was a light sleeper most of the time and got disturbed easily when one little thing out of the ordinary went on. Therefore, the faint sound made him wake up and he groaned to himself. Well, he was up now. It was probably really early but at least that meant he could grab some breakfast for the first time since coming to Hogwarts. Kim would normally change into casual clothes on the weekends but this time he didn't feel like doing so at the moment.
Being up when he didn't really want to be up was making his brain stop working. He went out and saw Taizu in the common room. Kim regarded him for a moment, was this the culprit? A yawn threatened to overcome him. "What are you doing up so early on a Saturday morning?" Kim grumbled at him. He tilted his head to the side and tried to ease out some kinks. That was when Taizu begged him to go with him to the library. The library?
Kim thought about it for a few seconds.
He wouldn't normally agree to go anywhere with someone he didn't know well.
But at the same time, he'd actually been intending on going to the library himself after grabbing some breakfast. So why not? Once there, Taizu would most likely go off on his own.
Right?
So it wasn't as if they were going together, it was just that they happened to be going at the same time. There was nothing wrong with that, Kim thought to himself with an inward nod of his head. "Sure. But let's grab some breakfast first." He said to Taizu and then headed out the door, without waiting for him. However, he was fairly sure Taizu would follow him.
After all, he'd wanted him to go to the library with him, right?
Once they'd eaten, Kim headed out the doors.
The two walked towards their destination and when they finally reached it, the taller Gryffindor gestured to the doors of the library. "Here we are. What are you looking for?" Kim asked, curious. Homework related material or entertainment purposes? Earlier, Kim had stored two chocolate croissants inside his pocket for later eating but wasn't about to take them out in the room. Eating in the library was not recommended. So he wouldn't do it.
But nothing was stated that you couldn't have food inside your pockets. As long as you didn't take it out to eat it, it should be allowed, right? Kim glanced around the area. There weren't many people at this time of hour at the library, which was really nice. But he did see one girl that looked familiar. She was someone he'd seen around Hogwarts before and appeared very friendly and nice towards others. Taizu might like her. Kim glanced back at the shorter male.
If he'd been the same kind of person, Kim would have approached her.

Taizu had woken up extremely early that first Saturday, earlier than he normally woke up. It had been so early in fact, that the sun had yet to come up. He had wanted to go to the library that day to see what all was around there, but he had lost courage before he had even stepped into the commons room, which was occupied by only a sleepy cat next to the fireplace.
Unease struck him as he stared at the exit of the commons, and he decided to wait till later. He didn't want to arrive too early and be completely alone. That would be terrifying. Especially with the ghosts who wander the school grounds. But as other students began to wake up, Taizu slunk to a corner of the commons, not wanting to talk to people. That was when he got the brilliant idea. That person who had spoken to him at the first night here... Kim. Maybe they would go to the library with him? He was the closest to a friend he had here, so maybe he would be kind enough to agree.
After waiting for about an hour for Kim to come out, Taizu sighed and looked down at his feet. Guess he wasn't going down to the library after all. Taizu began to turn to head back to his dorm, but was stopped by the sight of Kim in front of him, bed hair and all. Taizu smiled in excitement, ignoring Kim's question entirely and saying, "<Do you want to go to the library? I really don't want to go alone.>"
Elation spread through Taizu as Kim said yes, but the smile beginning to form on his face crashed as he said they had to go to breakfast first. Despite the week that had gone on, Taizu was still not used to the noise and food at the meals. But if he would go to the library eventually, then he could manage the sound.
Taizu followed after Kim leaving the great hall. He was glad they were going to a quiet part of the school. Everyone here was so raucous to Taizu, and it felt strange to have to deal with all the noise. Thankfully though, the library would be the perfect place to be calm, as long as he didn't have to talk to people while he was there.
When they arrived, Kim asked Taizu what he was looking for. Taizu just smiled meekly and said, "Uhhh... I don't know. I just wanted to look at the library. It's kind of nice." Taizu hadn't realized it, but he spoke fully in English, and there hadn't been so much as a stutter. But Tziau's confidence wouldn't last long.

Attire: Usual weekend attire
Colin had been on cloud nine the whole week, his first at Hogwarts! His lessons had been really interesting and exploring the castle he knew would provide for years worth of exciting adventure! His plan today was to explore the Library. Of course, he had heard all about the place from his Ma who went to Hogwarts and he was really eager to have a shufty himself.
He was up and dressed well before sunrise. A shirt and his old drab kilt would do. He shoved his wand and a few other essentials into a pocket and slung his scuffy shoes and socks over his shoulder along with his school satchel.
And Colin was off! He didn't even bother to check the Slytherin common room --- the place gave him the creeps. And within a few short minutes he found himself out in the Courtyard. There, he decided that a game of Liche Kings would be in order. He stood upon the broad stone benches that surrounded the bubbling fountain. As he stood watch with the stone griffin at one corner, he decided this would make for a great fortress and he called it High and Gateless.
"Ya! You'll never breach these walls, o Liche King!" he cried into the early dusk of morn. And with that, he drew his wand and a wooden ruler that was actually a magical sword and began to destroy the Liche King's armies!
At last the battle was won and the myriads of broken and destroyed liche warriors lay at Colin's feet. He pocketed his wand and sword and stood with arms across his chest. With a nod, he accepted the accolades of those within High and Gateless who he had defended.
And then he took off for the heights of the Astronomy Tower. He thought it would be a spanking place from which to watch the Sun rise. And once he got up there, he was not disappointed at all! Colin leaned on the stone parapet and waited with anticipation as the deep blue lightened, the stars disappeared and the first deep orange of the Sun's arc rose above the mountains and high hills to the east. And after she was up, he scanned the blue skies around, watching as a few overnight owls arrived at the high tower of the Owlery. Colin decided he'd have to explore the Owlery, too.
He'd already finished his lessons, so he decided to lay down in the center of the tower roof and watch any clouds that passed overhead. He felt content as he wondered what his life at Hogwarts would be like.
"I know one thing for sure!" he said to himself; "I'm starving! Time for breakfast, Colin lad!" He wrangled his socks and shoes on and headed down to see what Hogwarts would have to offer a brave warrior-astronomer to break his fast on a beautiful Saturday morning Once in the Great Hall, he sat by himself at the Slytherin table. He found some crunchy oat cakes and butter for a small plate and some bangers and scramble for the bigger plate. Yum! Once done, he tucked some oat cakes and cheese into his pocket for later and headed off to the Library.
Colin pushed open the doors and stepped from the merely magical world of Hogwarts and into the deepest mysteries of the world of books! "Aye, laddie! Now this is home!" he said as he took in the many levels and stacks full of books. There were loads of tables and desks as well, several of which were already occupied.
He found one where a girl was already sitting and a couple other boys standing nearby. One of them was hiding behind the other. Colin couldn't help but smile as he approached the trio. "Oi, laddie, A dinna ---" Colin began, but suddenly smacked the side of his head! "English, Colin! English!" He started again: "Um. I don't think she'll bite you, lad! She looks friendly!"
Turning to the girl seated at the table, he bowed and said: "Lassie, do you mind if I sit?"

@Kim SatoAs she was sitting and reading, Bailey was also thinking. Since I finished my homework already, and I am already at the library, what should I do later?
Then she heard someone speak from behind her. It was a male voice, with a strong Irish accent. He started talking, and she was about to turn around when he started talking to himself. As she finally turned around, she saw him bow and ask if he could sit at the table. Did he call me… Lassie? she wondered. Yes he did. I definitely think he is Irish.
Smiling at him, she said “Sure!”
As she moved her bag out of the way, she continued, saying “My name is Bailey, by the way. What is your name? Are you are a first year? And I presume you are a Slytherin? Or do you just like the color green?”
As she waited for a response, she instantly began to overthink what she had said. Did I say too much? Hopefully that was not rude… I would hate to be seen as so. I really hope we end up friends….
“Sorry if that was too much.” Bailey said, hoping to tamper down any harsh feelings he felt about her talking like that. “I can tend to ramble on a tad around new people.”word count:225 ish

Colin sat down opposite the girl and plunked his satchel down on the table. He wondered if the other two boys were going to sit down as well, or if they were going to stand there gawping like fish in a bowl. He smiled to see the one boy still hiding behind the other. "Afeart o his ain shadow that lad!" he said.
Colin took in all the girl's questions, and he couldn't help but smile at her: "Bailey, lass, you are pure cheer and joy! I'm Colin. Aye, I'm a first year; and yeah, Slytherin." He sighed. He didn't sound too thrilled by the Hat's choice for him. "I'd so hoped to be Ravenclaw, though. My brother Liam is Ravenclaw! But isn't this place grand? There's more books in here than I've ever seen in my whole life!"

Kim nodded at Taizu's words.
"Well, it's a pretty nice sized place. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun here." He told him and glanced around the room. There were lots of books everywhere.
A paradise for those who loved learning, reading and knowledge. Someone like him, even though he wasn't in Ravenclaw, Kim felt as if he kind of was. Slytherins, Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs weren't really known to like those things. Well, not to the point of obsession that Ravenclaws tended to do. A sigh escaped his lips as Kim thought about what he wanted to do.
Maybe he'd check out some books on potions.
That had been one of the classes he'd been very interested in learning more about. Also charms, because learning how to cast charms and spells had always been an interest of his.
Taizu stepped behind him upon seeing the seated girl and Kim's lips twitched with amusement. He was kind of cute acting like that and the Gryffindor wondered just how shy the boy actually was. When Taizu looked up at him and asked him to keep him safe, Kim raised a brow. But before he could respond, a new voice was heard behind him. A strong Irish accent was heard and Kim glanced behind him to see a shorter boy wearing a cool kilt there.
Apparently, everyone was coming into the library at the exact same time. Well, then again it was the morning time. A time he rarely frequented, so Kim supposed he wouldn't really know if this was normal or not. The newcomer spoke and then directed his attention at the seated girl a short distance away from them. Apparently, her name was Bailey. Kim looked behind him and tilted his head towards the two at the table. "You should take a seat and meet some new people. They seem like they're nice." He told him and moved towards the table in question. Not because he wanted to sit down but because he wanted Taizu to do so.
Kim's intention was to let the shorter boy interact with others and thus allow him time to escape during that time!

Taizu was once again terrified. There was a new person in front of him, and Kim clearly wanted him to go talk to them. It wasn't that they seemed scary, rather, they seemed to be very nice. But that
deep-seated fear inside of him that he would be rejected and hated stuck deep inside him. Of course, she was starting to calm his mind in some way, and he kind of did want to walk over to her. That is, until the other boy walked in.
When the new kid had spoken with his Irish accent, Taizu thought immediately that he was casting a spell on him, and Taizu shrank more behind Kim, clutching part of his robe like a little kid would. Then the kid started correcting himself, almost like how Taizu did to himself. It started to remind him of his friend back home, who he missed desperately. Taizu felt himself unconsciously walking towards him, only realizing when he was a step away from Kim.
Confusion and fear crossed his face as he stood in between the girl and boy at the table and Kim, and he looked back at Kim as a toddler would look back at their parent before walking up to a new strange person. Taking another tentative step, he could almost feel confidence seeping into him, before it drained out and he backed up, bumping into Kim and remembering him.
Without even realizing that he was trying to leave Taizu with the two, Taizu grabbed onto Kim's hand and started walking forward, seeming to gain confidence from holding his hand. The two eventually stopped in front of the table, and Taizu opened his mouth to say hello, only for his voice to give out, so only a faint whimper came out. He closed his mouth, turned around to look at Kim, and opened his mouth once again to speak, this time saying, "I-I'm Taizu. Nice t-to meet you."

Colin watched as boy's shy friend made his way ever so slowly over towards the table. Twas like watching continents collide in all its beautiful and wonderful slowth! Colin wondered at the newcomers. Colin knew he himself was shy --- but this poor lad seemed to be all shy! So he just waited. If he wanted to come over, he would. There was no reason to say anything that might scare him off --- Colin knew deep down that sooner or later most people would be scared of him and would likely run away from him. But for now, he was just happy that most of the kids he'd met seemed friendly and kind enough to him!
He noted that the boy clung to his friend as one might a life preserver after jumping off a sinking ship. There's no going back, lad!
Colin wondered how he himself would have reacted had he not been separated from his brother by the Sorting Hat. The last week had sort of forced him to talk where he normally would've let Liam do that for the both of them. He tried not to smile too much --- he knew that he'd've grabbed Liam's hand in terror as well! He glanced over towards Bailey, whose indefatigable sunshine and tranquility would likely overcome the lad's hesitancy before too long, then back to the pair.
He was going to say something at last! Colin could tell. He'd worked up the courage --- nope, the courage failed! Then he rallied and tried again!
"I-I'm Taizu. Nice t-to meet you." he'd said.
Now Colin smiled! The continents had drifted together and the boy had spoken! He felt like this must have been a major victory for this boy, Taizu.
"Hey, Taizu," he said with a nod. "I'm Colin, and this is Bailey! Um. You want to sit down? I don't bite or anything! --- At least not yet...."

He almost felt like a father if that made any sense and Taizu was his son who was scared to face people. Or maybe even an adorable pet, who was wary about making friends with others.
It was then that Taizu seemed to gain some kind of inner strength and tried to go off on his own, towards the Irish bloke who was wearing a kilt. Wait, wasn't a kilt Scottish? So, did that make him Socttish? Or was he Irish who had a fetish for kilts? Kim couldn't tell, as the two accents were very similar to foreigners. He'd have to hear him talk some more. Still, he liked Irish better than Scottish. It sounded cooler to him. Scottish reminded him too much of cats.
Cats were the devil incarnate.
He'd call him Irish if he ever forgot his name. What was it again? Colin.
Ah, Taizu was back. Kim looked down as the boy bumped into him and then grabbed his hand. He let his eyes flicker over him for a few seconds but didn't try and shake him loose. Whatever, it would only be for a short time, right? As they stopped at the table, Taizu introduced himself and Kim inclined his head towards the two there. "Kim." He said. The girl's name was Bailey, wasn't that the name of some kind of alcohol too? Or was he wrong?
He glanced down at Taizu again and tilted his head to the side. "Let's take a seat." Kim told him and chose a spot near but not close to Colin and Bailey's positions.
