Clair led Edward to the courtyard, trying not to laugh at Edward's comment about not knowing where the courtyard was, Edward was funny and Charming. Maybe Clair was Bias because of their new status together, maybe not.
"Here we are." She said, as she said that she twirled around, purely because she thought it was fun to spin. "It looks so pretty right now, normally this is where I spend my time reading when it's nice out, when it's not nice out I sit in the library or my dorm. You have been to the library right?" She looked at him, if Edward had not been to the library then Clair would have to fix that, and hopefully sooner rather then later.
She looked around, glad to be out of the place that was sure to become a doomed place for everyone i side, out here was a lot calmer, the air seemed better to breath in too, nit as hit or thick.
"Believe me, the great hall is not always that wild, it's only that way right now because there are to many people with hormones, Romance drama and too little staff around. Normally we are very calm and collected." Nit at all bending the truth, just a little.

ACTION: Checking the champions and dancing with Ye-jun
Blue in English, Red in Korean“Hmm…I don’t think we have much time now to go back to the Great Hall and there will be a lot of people. I’m sure we’ll get to know the champions somehow. It’s not like we’ll know many of them anyway.” Eun-ji shrugged upon hearing Ye-jun’s suggestions. She had no desire to be squashed in the crowd or bump into Sam again. The witch was only just starting to get a hold of herself and she would appreciate doing something easy and relaxing rather than being in the thick of things. “Let’s go make some flower crowns instead. It’s been years since the two of us did so.” Turning to the Hufflepuff, Eun-ji smiled a bit though it didn’t quite reach her eyes. “What do you say? We had fun last time, no?” Thankfully, all three of them seemed to be mosty in agreement. Her cousin looked a bit disappointed to miss out on the announcement at first but it didn’t take long before he shrugged it off.
“Oh…look,” The Ravenclaw pointed towards the growing shrubbery. “See, I told you we would get to know them.” The trio stopped in their tracks for a moment to check the plant figures, bearing an incredible resemblance to the people they portrayed. As expected, there were indeed not many Eun-ji knew…well at least not personally. Howard White, she heard of of course but she had no personal experience with him. I suppose that’s good. Had it been someone she knew, she would probably worry about their safety but as it was, she could quite easily detach herself from that feeling. Surprisingly enough, Mathias Pride appeared among the chosen ones as well. Eun-ji heard rumours about him going to Mahoutokoro but she never expected he would be chosen to represent the school. She had the “pleasure” to meet him on several occasions and though they never actually talked, she was not afraid to admit she didn’t really like the boy. He was pretty obnoxious individual.
“Well…I guess that’s it. Should we move to the crafting corner then?” Eun-ji asked her companions once they were done inspecting the leafy statues. “Yeah, I think so. Unless you want to dance? You didn’t get to yet.” That much was true and the raven-haired girl was a bit sad about that but she wasn’t sure if she really felt up to it now. Then again. They didn’t get to dance together last ball either, perhaps it was a good idea to fix that. “I suppose one dance won’t hurt. You okay with waiting for us Lucia?” She asked the Hufflepuff, not wanting her to feel left out. Luckily, unlike Eun-ji, the part veela already got to dance in the Great Hall prior to coming here so she didn’t mind. “Aright, we’ll be right back.” She smiled again before taking Ye-jun’s arm and letting him lead her closer to the source of music.
After choosing a perfect empty space on the grass, Ye-jun wisely suggested she took off her shoes. He was right of course. While her heels weren’t exactly thin, they would still sink into the soft soil here and there as she walked, which would make dancing quite difficult. “Shall we?” She asked, now barefoot. Ye-jun smiled in return and nodded. Just like he said, he was a great dancer. The many social events his mother made him attend trained him well and it helped that he obviously liked dancing as well. It has been some time since Eun-ji got to dance with someone that could actually keep up with her. The witch genuinely enjoyed dancing even if her partner couldn’t but it was always so much more magical when it was the case. Ye-jun was confident in his step and he was not afraid to improvise. He would also grin at her cheekily here and there, possibly in attempt to cheer her up. She didn’t tell him what happened with Sam and she wasn’t planning to do so but it was obvious that the boy knew something bad happened. Eun-ji chuckled as he spun her, dress twirling and flaring in the air. Ye-jun looked surprised for a second but his steps did not falter. Did she not laugh often? Oh… She didn’t, did she? The girl realised faster than she'd like to admit. This was not the time to ponder about that though this was a time to dance. The Ravenclaw couldn’t believe she nearly turned down the opportunity to do so.(godmodding approved by Lucia due to her absence/lack of time)

Roleplaying as Lee Ye-jun from Beauxbatons – Encyclopedia
Violet in English, Red in Korean and Blue in FrenchYe-jun would lie if he said he wasn’t at all disappointed that they decided not to return to the Great hall for the announcement. Eun-ji did appear more relaxed here though and so he wouldn’t complain about it. If the girls wanted to make flower crowns, who was he to say no. He was pretty sure they would all have fun doing so anyway.
Luckily for all involved, the organisers obviously counted on people being scattered in different locations and so before they even managed to approach the crafting station, they were distracted by a mysterious shrubbery, currently taking form of a person and then another and another until all champions stood tall right in front of them. His cousin was right. Ye-jun really only recognised their own and even then, he didn’t know much about her. Still, it was nice to see who was going to compete in the tournament. He briefly wondered what kind of trials they will have to face and whether he would be able overcome them himself. Eun-ji's voice brought him back to reality before he got too much into it. Perhaps that was for the best. “Yeah, I think so. Unless you want to dance? You didn’t get to yet.”
Eun-ji seemed hesitant at first, which he found odd given her undeniable love for dancing. Seriously, what happened back there? He was actively considering turning on his heel and finding that little girl (@Samantha Salwis) again just so he could get to the bottom of it. His cousin wouldn't tell him anything, of that he was sure but she would be absolutely livid if he just went ahead and demanded answers from the other party. “I suppose one dance won’t hurt…” Ah…no witch hunting tonight then. A gentle smile slipped back onto his face as he offered his arm to his cousin. “Be back soon,” he assured Lucia before wandering off to find a good dancing spot closer to the stage.
“You should probably take your shoes off. We don’t want any sprained ankles…or worse…ruined shoes.” He said playfully. His plan was to make his cousin feel better by the time they finished dancing. What happened was not important he realised… he just wanted her to have fun tonight. Thankfully, the mere fact that he could dance was already helping a lot. It was quite clear Eun-ji enjoyed his skilful moves. Shame they couldn’t stay longer. A swift spin, brought out a soft chuckle from the girl and Ye-jun blinked in surprise. When was the last time he heard her laugh this sincerely? He hated that he couldn’t remember. She still smiled a lot but laughing? Not so much. “You sure you don’t want to dance a bit longer?” The boy asked once the song ended. Eun-ji looked disappointed though she tried to hide it with a smile. “It’s okay. I don’t want Lucia to wait alone.” The concern was appreciated but he still couldn’t stop the sigh from escaping. Flower crowns were nice and all but they wouldn’t make her laugh like this.(godmodding approved by Lucia due to her absence/lack of time)

█"That sounds amazing," Lucia decided when Eun-ji described to her the food which she'd brought. Although she wasn't sure about the BBQ beef - the Hufflepuff wasn't a fan of BBQ sauce if that was what her friend had meant - the rest of it sounded lovely and Lucia definitely wanted to try it.
Samantha finally got it. Just the look on the second-year's face was enough to make Lucia feel like she was intruding on a private moment. Lucia didn't know anything about the nature of the two Ravenclaws' relationship, but she could tell that this was clearly something that they needed to work out between the two of them. So, she was grateful for the opportunity to get out of there when Ye-jun, after Eun-ji prompted him to, asked her to dance. "Of course," she responded automatically, taking the boy's offered arm and letting him lead her to the dance floor; but not after she gave Eun-ji a sympathetic (and hopefully discrete) squeeze on the arm. Whatever she was about to say to the younger girl was obviously going to be hard for the both of them. Now, though, the best Lucia could do for her friend was leave her to work through it.
The two didn't talk much during their dance, but it was still fun. Lucia had always loved dancing, and it was thanks to Eun-ji that she knew the proper steps for dances such as the one they were doing now. Even when she forgot a step though, her natural Veela-given grace helped her to recover so it looked like she'd done a different step on purpose. However, it wasn't long before Ye-jun decided that enough was enough. "Definitely," Lucia agreed immediately. Eun-ji was on her own now and it wouldn't be good of them to leave her there.
Together, Lucia and Ye-jun made their way over to where Eun-ji was sitting near the potluck table. "Eun-ji?" The Ravenclaw insisted she was okay, but she didn't exactly sound it. Lucia wished she knew what to do to help. If it had been Alexa, she'd probably have just hugged her and let her cry it out, but Eun-ji wasn't Alexa, and there wasn't any time for crying it out now. Maybe the best course of action was to just get her out of this and let her have fun. "Alright..." There was a moment of silence before Lucia remembered what she was saying. "How about we get out of here and go make a wish?" Lucia had seen the massive wooden structure from the windows and was sure she'd heard something about it being for wishes. Wishes were good. Wishes were positive. Wishes would distract Eun-ji from the crying girl who'd presumably just gone off with her date. The cousins agreed, so Lucia swiped a - what had Eun-ji called them? Bulgogi Kimbap - from the potluck table and walked outside with them, eating it while they talked about the Hexiwizard. Lucia herself hadn't signed up. She wasn't brave enough for something like that. The stories she'd heard about the triwizard scared her enough without adding three more contestants in there.
"It is!" Lucia agreed with Ye-jun's amazement. The dragon was definitely impressive, alright. The three quickly found the table which contained cards to write wishes on. Lucia didn't enquire as to what Eun-ji's and Ye-jun's wishes were, deciding that they didn't have to tell her if they didn't want to. Instead, she picked up the quill and paused for a moment or two, trying to work out what she wanted to wish for. She had so many wishes, but she could surely only choose one here. She knew what she wanted to write, but... oh, who cares? Maybe a fairytale princess would write something brave, something selfless, something noble: but Lucia wasn't a princess, and she wasn't any of those things, and she was pretending not to pretend for tonight so she might as well write something she meant. 'I wish for a happy ending,' she wrote down. Vague, but meaningful, Lucia decided as she entered the effergy and flicked it into the wooden structure.
Lucia nodded at Ye-jun's suggestion. "Flower crowns!" It had been Eun-ji who'd taught her how to make those and it would be fun to do so again; especially since Lucia was disappointed to realise that she couldn't remember a whole lot when it came to making them. She was out of practise. Eun-ji agreed that they should go to the Crafting Table next, pointing out that they could find out who the Champions were later. "Definitely!"
And then the bushes morphed into people. Well, not real people, but images of them. Presumably, these were the champions. "I don't recognise any of them," Lucia admitted. Well, it looked like the Hexiwizard wouldn't be something any of her friends were involved in, which was lucky. Lucia didn't want any of her friends to get hurt.
"That's fine," Lucia smiled, waving the cousins off to go dance. "Take as long as you like." While her friends danced, Lucia tried some of the finger food.

Just before the Champions were being announced in the Great Hall, Sage had managed to make a decent-looking flower crown. Focusing on craftwork helped to subside the tumult inside her head.
The crown itself was more of a wreath than anything: sprigs of berries and leafy branchlets entwined along the vine-like circlet, with dried gypsophila flowers interspersed evenly between clusters of spring blooms.
Planting it firmly, proudly upon her head, Sage began wandering about, thankful she didn't have to worry about snagging an expensive dress in some stupid bush. She almost took her shoes off in her solitary walk, but what little etiquette she had learnt at home managed to kick in.
As dusk fell, and the late afternoon sun with it, a palpable change could be felt rippling over the manicured lawn. A muffled shout had coaxed some students to gather within the Hall; Sage, having just come from there, stayed where she was. Nearby, the girl noticed some shrubbery molding themselves into vaguely humanoid shapes. It would seem that the Goblet has chosen its Champions. The brunette couldn’t help but utter a quick prayer for these unfortunate souls.
Speaking of which, she’d been so focused on making her flower crown that she’d completely forgotten to write a wish for the effigy. Like everyone else, Sage would have liked to have offered her own hopes and dreams up to the powers that be - it wouldn’t hurt to have an extra helping of luck for the rest of the year…
"Sage!" The Gryffindor whipped around and found Gemima beside her. Sage beamed, welcoming the girl’s presence.
“That’s alright,” the girl shrugged, slipping her hands into her pockets. She hadn’t meant to lose Gemima earlier, but once they’d entered the Courtyard, both girls had naturally drifted off to different sections of the Festival. “I got distracted, too.”
The tall girl cast her gaze about the area, trying to pick out Kim’s purple mop under the quickly-darkening sky. She thought she spotted a bickering pair some distance away, but the dim lighting made it hard to confirm.
“Is that them? I can’t be sure.” She bit her lip then, quietly curious about something but didn’t know how to bring it up. In truth, Sage was still a bit miffed about Kim's prank. She had to address it, somehow, before the night was over. After all, it had involved two of her friends. Plus, she didn't want to go to bed angry.
“Um. Thank you for earlier,” she couldn’t quite face Gemima, and instead, squinted at the plausible Kim-Sophia pair. “I did not expect that from Kim."
Should the effigy start burning, Sage was sure to imagine Kim's purple locks burning with it.
"Boy's been very rude. He's not gon' get away with it, that's for sure.”
If only he'd just stay still.

action: leaving for firewalkingDrew [@Rose Moon] obviously wasn't very impressed with Charles' french. Cassie grinned at his sarcasm. "Oh, you know me," she joked in an airy tone. "I'm the kindest person you've ever met." A little bow proved that Cassie was joking. There were kinder people than her out there, and she knew it.
At the mention of Charles [@Henry Knight] and Drew's performance at last year's Blossom Ball, Cassie laughed again. "I bet the fact that you bribed the judge helped," she teased.
Cassie dramatically pressed a hand to her heart as Drew demonstrated his flirting technique. "I don't suppose a First-Aid course when I was ten counts?" she responded breathlessly, pretending she'd been completely 'blown away' by Drew's pickup line.
Cassie tugged as hard as she could on the plate Charles was holding, but she just couldn't get it out of his grip. Stupid Durmstrangs with their stupid strength! Unwilling to get involved in the fight any more, Cassie was saved when the bushes began to- change shape? She gave up trying to get the pasta off of Charles. "What's going on?" The bushes were moulding themselves into the shapes of people! The Champions, surely! "It's gotta be the champions!" Cassie watched eagerly, hoping to see her own face appear, but... "Angélique?" Of course Cassie knew her classmate's face, despite having not really spoken to her before. The girl had won the inter-school broom race for Beauxbatons once. Cassie supposed this was enough to make her a good Champion, but she wasn't Cassie. This was supposed to be Cassie's big break! But instead, somebody else had gotten it. "Ugh." None of the other bushes slash champions were recognisable for Cassie, which meant that Charles hadn't gotten picked either. "Well, that sucks."
After a moment or so, a distraction appeared in the form of a shout for all firewalking contest participants to go get ready. "Coming?" Cassie asked Charles, Drew, and Ro [@Logan Baird] and headed in the direction of the event.

Charles didn't really care if his friends minded Hailey there or not, planning to cause trouble at that ball with then either way.
Why was he wearing guyliner? To impress somone? Charles knew it wasn't for Xeno but couldn't explain the reason why he wore it... maybe to impress Valentine or another guy? Maybe for himself? Charles couldn't say as he glanced away before looking back at them as he calmly replied"it's not to impress my boyfriend, it's for something else," unsure what that something else is yet.
Drew was showing off his outfit, bored by the recent events. Charles took the opportunity to lean close to Hailey and whsiper in russian, "Ilvermorny still needs a return to them for gracefully drenching us upon arrival and hogwarts students always deserves to be messed with, the cheats they are in quidditch," Charles held his items close as eyes flickered about wondering who he would mess with.
Cassie commented on Drew's outfit then turned to him, looking back at her with a slight eye roll as he playfully replied"maybe you should try, a bit of makeup could go a long way Cass," smiling as another more American voice cuaght his ears. If Drew wasn't a friend then the blonde would have hex him about now, still not likening Ilvermorny since the school's arrival and capsized boats.
"Learn french then," Charles replied as he thought majority of the group knew french, Ro was more fluent in the language than she was in english even. Or her accent wasn't as bad to understand in French than English. The blonde, prefers to fake his russian accent preferring it over his own British.
Hailey and Drew introduced themselves, Charles leaned close to Hailey as he spoke"Ilvermorny but a friend, we're still messing with the other blokes of that school," Charles brushed a few strands of hair from the front toward the back as the conversation changed to the topic of the last ball and the performances.
Charles let out a stiff yawn, choosing not to remember a few years back at the ball. Cassie and Drew chatting about the performences as he looked over toward Ro and spoke"any new paintings?" The blonde found her annoying but also enjoyed her company, plus they both were entangled within the art world.
Charles joked a bit with the group; Cassie, Ro, and Drew as he threw in a wish to the eiffy then started a bit of trouble. Smiling toward Cassie as he spoke"it's only a hogwarts student and we'll still hear the champions don't worry, Cass," his words and thoughts cut off by the muffled words of shouts then the emerging of green statues. The champions no doubt. Charles eyed around, canning his neck for a familiar one but alas it seems neither him, Cassie, Hailey, or Ro was choosen.... not sure if Drew threw his name in.
"That's rubbish," Charles replied after Cassie's reaction to the champions selected, eyes flickering about then he saw it. The large, flourishing statue of fauna resembling Yefim Rumyantsev.
Charles bit back his tongue, why am I not surprised the brute was selected,
Charles looked sideways as he eyes the figure with thoughts floating through his mind as he spoke"reckon I could manipulate myself onto Yefim's team," could always betray durmstrang which didn't seem that wrong anymore.... going aginest Yefim and durmstrang had its perks.
Hailey's words. A looked toward her as he kept allowing his mind to slip to Yefim as he whsipered"the lad is hogwarts, plenty enough reason to mess with," placing the plate of pasta coated in a deep red sauce into her hands, "for trouble, I'll meet you after the fire game," Charles placed a hand on her shoulder accompanied with a curt nod and sly smile.
"Shall we wreck havoc here apart and together, Hailes."
A nod then he turned, walking to cacth up with his friends when he suddenly got a thought. Coming to a halt. The blonde turned, eyeing the statue as he slipped his wand from his bag and aimed.
"Incendio."
A whsiper of a spell. Not staying to see the damage or get caught. Running up behind his friends, Charles threw his arms around Drew and Cassie as he walked toward the Firewalking game.
"Five galleons, I'll beat you both."

As soon as he stepped outside, the scent of something burning reached Jack's nose and his attention was immediately drawn to the bonfire. He watched the students venture near it with sticks to make torches and was suddenly reminded of Ruka. A pang in his heart caused his chest to tighten, but he ignored it, looking around to make more sense of his surroundings.
There was more. Behind the bonfire was an intimidatingly tall effigy of a wood and straw dragon, but Jack looked away. It made him think of Victor. The sign and the table next to it drew his curiosity and he went over to read what had been written there. One was evidently supposed to write their hopes and dreams onto a piece of paper to attach to the dragon effigy to burn. It was a nice idea, but Jack still couldn't help associating the burning of things with negativity, even hopes and dreams. To him, it almost seemed that by setting their piece of paper on fire, they were allowing their hopes and dreams to go up in flames.
The boy shook his head. He didn't want to think about that now. There were other things to do and places to be. He continued walking on until a familiar head of blonde hair caught his eye. His brows narrowed. Was that Marion...?
As he drew closer, he caught sight of Flash and Willow next to her. Flash was saying something to Marion, but Jack couldn't hear the words. By the look on Flash's face as he spoke, however, it wasn't anything pleasant. Jack increased his speed and walked more briskly toward them. Soon, however, Willow cast a spell at Marion and Marion left, screaming shrilly. Jack wasn't sure whether to follow after her or continue on to where Flash and Willow were. Eventually, he decided to check on the latter two to see if they were okay.

The moment Judith had asked Hunter on the date, every inch of her body felt frozen. A wave of panic flashed through her body. She saw on Hunter's face that he was rather stunned by her request, well he wasn't the only one. Judith had no clue what had just jumped out of her mouth. She had never before thought of going on a date with Hunter, he was her friend, one of the only ones, and the one she spent the most time with, the one she probably told the most to and the one she probably trusted most.
And crab, there it goes. As Judith goes over her own thoughts she realised that she had been liking Hunter, without knowing. And now her body was fooling her, maybe even her own brains. What on earth was she supposed to do if he said no? Would they end up leaving the ball awkwardly, never talk to each other again? Or what if he says yes, but just to please her, to get it over with and then just ghost her. She felt her heart pounding, her breathing going in overdrive.
As Hunter gave his answer Judith was more then surprised. "You're joking, right? " She said laughing. "You are probably the most amazing person i have ever met, you're kind, caring, sweet, and you're so much fun, I've loved hanging out with you and..." She said, as she felt the adrenaline burst into her vains she wasn't sure if she should even continue that sentence. "You're fun and we have fun and you're my friend! I like you and... I mean obviously, i like you, where friends and we hang out and, but i like you as, i like you?" She said rather quickly and nervously. She took a few deep breaths, trying to calm herself down, trying to give Hunter a better answer then this.
"let me start over again." She said taking all the courage she could find within herself, hoping to give it a better go. "Very not so stereotypes for me to ask, but i'd gladly go for it. Hunter Argentum, you're amazing, and i love hanging out with you, so i'd love to go on a date, with you." She said and took a deep breath. "I like you, not anyone else." She said and smiled, looking at Hunter, hoping, she didn't sound nor to desperate, nor to pushy.

From the time that he saw Marion's face to the time she left would be short, and all the while he would be left paralyzed. He wouldn't need his hands to be bound or a spell to be cast to become completely useless. His breath failing him, his face flooding with heat, he wouldn't move an inch towards his wand, or really at all. Willow would burst into motion, acting on his behalf by trying to attack her, but the spell would go wide. It didn't matter either way, there was nothing they realistically could have done. Get a professor maybe, but he wouldn't be replaying this moment over and over again until much later. For now, his mind was consumed by hate and fear. It wasn't a good feeling, it made him nauseous.
For that reason, he was glad she left. He could breathe again once the danger wasn't right in his face. His hands still trembled, his head feeling a bit light. This time, he had skipped over panicking and seemed to be on the brink of fainting instead. If Willow had not been there, it might have been exactly what he did. Since she was there, he took her away from her spellcasting and grabbed onto her arm tightly, leaning against her in a half-hug. He needed her physical support, much more than he needed her to attack his enemies. She didn't know how strong she was, what she was capable of. "Don't fight her. She's a hag. A hag!"
Of course, Flash's voice would be low and controlled, he didn't want anyone to panic. He didn't know what Marion wanted, but hysteria would only aid her. Trying to catch his breath, he was surprised at what he saw next-- Burnett, dressed up in a suit. It seemed that even though Flash had declined to go with him, he had still intended to show up and spend time with them. Right after sun had set, and Flash had said he would be trying to turn in. Truth was, his nerves were as shot as they could be, and he knew sleep was not coming.
"Burnett... hello." Flash would still be a bit breathless, but he would detach from Willow and fumble for his wand. "Come join us, I was about to set the dragon alight."
Whether he joined them or not, he'd walk hand in hand with Willow to the massive dragon effigy. His mind was elsewhere now, a million miles away, but the spell he needed was a simple one. He would incant it quietly, his eyes glazed over. "Incendio."
