The Evergreens
The Evergreens were a somewhat wealthy family. They weren't Malfoy rich but they were doing pretty well. Kay's Mother worked as an Auror and her Father worked in the Ministry of magic. Kay has multiple siblings who fight a lot but still love each other. Kay's grandparents died before she ever knew them. She has a few aunts that the family doesn't talk about but she doesn't know why. She suspected one of her aunts was a metamorphagis, the family didn't talk about her and Kay didn't understand why.
Her mother's family was a known wizarding family. They have been wealthy for many generations, and no one knows exactly where all their wealth came from. For some reason, most of the people in her mother's family tended to be women. It was very rare for a male to be born into the family, which is probably the Evergreen name travels through the women. The women tend to be good witches, probably why most of them ended up in Ravenclaw, though a few ended up in Slytherin. All of the Evergreens have bright green eyes and soft brown hair.
