There are no requirements for you to join, feel free to join no matter the year, house or number of participants; the more the merrier!

This is a simple moderated thread lasting only five rounds and serving as a way to enjoy a game of tag. Depending how many people join the number of people with the role of catcher or commonly known as "it" increases or decreases. The goal for the catcher is to freeze all players, whereas the group of other students need to outlast the catchers for 5 rounds! Moderations happen on a weekly basis~

Should mention, an ic murderer when caught would lose their character. We have a few npcs and they go away (forever) when finally stopped.

Alec is a self-acclaimed artist. He's getting over being shy about the title and his work. In doing this, he's still finding where the boundaries are. Alec is searching the Hogwarts castle for inspiration. Your character sticks out to him, and because your character dared to exist Alec has decided they are his muse and the subject he will sketch during this thread.

Be prepared to exchange a post or two without any interaction at all. Perhaps your kiddo notices the strange artsy kid staring at them. It could end up being a thread where your self-obsessed character is delighted to know they were the subject of art, and oh wow 'I even have a pretty face on paper'. Or perhaps your character is very private, and does not like knowing a stranger is watching them and drawing them. Perhaps Alec learns a lesson in boundaries and asking participants.

Feel free to take this thread anywhere. When reaching out to met a quick overview on where you want to take the thread would be nice so we're on the same page.

It's no secret Alec has lacked luck in the realm of pets or well animals in general in the past. From thinking he's the killer of a house spider he named 'Cookie' to being horrendously rejected by the world's cutest snake. The third-year has given his best efforts, and well... Any person with a history like his would make the reasonable assumption their cursed. Touching an animal is a big no-go, presumably seeing an animal(who knows how far this curse really extends?!)

And as fate would have it, he suddenly finds himself in a place with a person who has a pet. This thread could go in any direction, whether it reinforcing the idea he's cursed and traumatizing alec, or your character attempting to coax him out of such "silly thoughts" and have him touch their pet.

Remember the moment when you realized your fifty-page paper on werewolves was due tomorrow and you hadn't even start working on it? No? Really? Well me neither, that's very strange and oddly specific but a group of students have been caught in something similar!

There was that essay due tomorrow, you know, that one. As it turns out there were quite a few students who had not begun working on it yet. Realizing the deadline was tomorrow and remembering they had week to get this done, there's a panic. In the panic a little study group is formed. Because if you can't jam all the information into one brain do it with multiple others and share what you know.

However, when a study group is filled with young thirteen to fourteen year olds it's far easier to get off track. The little study succession may be less productive than the original plan. A slow descent into madness. Watch as the study buddy begin to turn on each other, or just get permanently get kicked out of the library for tearing paper out of books for paper airplanes. And if your character is brainy, smart and responsible, don't worry, they can join the thread too, pity for those less fortunate and all. Again, this is the type of thread that could go anywhere. An owl chain or at discord group dm would be needed to sort things out and plan further ahead into the thread. Discuss character dynamics etc.
