Closed Surprise, it's Not Potions PV: Hui Ming

After having her previous spot for practicing her abilities discovered by a Gryffindor prefect, Seren felt it best to move her practices to an abandoned classroom. Even if he was kind, and helped her, she wanted a place she was more likely to be alone most of the time. As such, she had scrounged up a decent sized mirror... Still carriable, but big enough she could see what she was doing... And hunted until she found an abandoned classroom she felt was out of the way enough that no one was like to come bother her here.

Not that she thought people talking to her was bothering her, nor did she think there was anything wrong with them seeing her skills. She was just still shy with changing in front of others, and she did not want anyone teasing her if she made a mistake and ended up looking like she had a pig's snout instead of a proper nose or something.

Unlike when she had been distracted, she was not trying to emulate specific people today. No, her goal today was to just practice changing her eyes. Shape, color, size, tilt, and so on. She had decided she needed her fine control down if she wanted to do a better job at doing a proper job of emulating other people. She HAD changed her hair, this morning, and left it in the state she'd changed it to, which was a bright, almost metallic looking, gold, pinned up into a crown braid. It had felt like a confidence booster at the time.

Now, she was sitting on a chair she had dusted clean, and had the mirror on the desk in front of her. "Alright, Seren, let's see how big and round we can manage to make them..." She mumbled at the mirror, just loud enough that someone at the door would hear a voice but not understand what she was saying. Her eyes began to grow huge, until they seemed far too large for her face, and round, round until they were actually circular, rather like an owl's in shape and comparative size. She had not changed the color, because right now it was shape and size she was working on, so she mostly looked like herself... But very, very strange.
