Eulalia Reed, daughter of Nona Reed and Ida Kühn. Her mothers met working in the Ministry of Magic, after Ida immigrated to London from her home in Germany. Though an only child, Eulalia has a big family and a large number of cousins that she loves to play with. Like most purebloods, she was raised around magic. Nona works as a judge in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, and Ida works for the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, specializing in Acromantulas and dealing mostly with illegal smuggling operations.
Like her mother, Eulalia has a great interest in magical creatures, and is especially excited to start taking classes in it! Eulalia is a bright and cheerful child, fearless and full of spunk. She is capable and curious, but only a middling student, putting a lot of effort into the subjects she finds interesting and almost none at all into those that bore her. She can be quite nerdy when it comes to her particular interests, which include potions, animals, astronomy, and quidditch, and doesn't like it when people distract her in class or don't take it seriously. Hypocritically, in other subjects (muggle studies and history of magic, in particular), she's often the one slacking off or goofing around.
Originally from London, her family moved to Brighton shortly after she was born. Like most wizarding children, Eulalia was home-schooled, taking lessons from her aunt who ran an informal 'primary school' for the children of witches and wizards, though she joined several after school clubs in the area as well, making friends with her muggle neighbors. She is excited to start at Hogwarts and has already started reading up on everything she can about it, eager to hit the ground running once she's finally able to do magic herself.
