A crowd had gathered around Habib. With so many people crowding around him trading galleons and sickles, the same trick he tried in the Slytherin common room back in September worked a lot better here (which Habib would be owling to his father to put in his trust vault).
He had a card game set up, complete with a glowing clock timer.
He also set up some roulette and wheel of fortune tables, which drew the older students.
He also managed to organise a magic run puppet show.
Of course, he was able to do so because his father had sent him the necessary supplies.
Habib was also a little sad because he would be spending his birthday alone for the first time.
Jake and the others had arrived in Durmstrang, and he hadn't spoken to Camilla or Marcee since the train ride.
"Step right up, come one, come all to the first... ever... HOGWARTS CIRCUS!" Habib exclaimed.
This attracted more people, and the money and snacks continued to pile up.
However, Habib heard a loud noise, then a curse word rang through the air, and he noticed the other first-year students fighting for no apparent reason.
After that, he noticed a Gryffindor enter the courtyard.

It was a Saturday morning and although it wasn't early, since Kim was not a morning person, it also wasn't too late. He usually wouldn't be caught dead awake before 10AM unless it was a weekday and he had to be up for classes. Kim yawned as he headed out into the courtyard, although it wasn't because he was still tired. He'd gotten enough sleep, it was 11AM after all, but sometimes you just yawned for no reason. Sleep was such a great thing.
Last time he'd gone out to the courtyard to draw and had met a Slytherin girl, Vienna. But this time, he was just going out for some fresh air and to get some exercise before lunchtime. He didn't expect to see the place decked out like some kind of festival. Kim didn't remember seeing anything on the bulletin board about any events or clubs taking place out here on this particular afternoon. So what was this? A group of people gathered around a particular area.
Kim was curious.
But at the same time, he hated crowds and usually tended to stay away from them.
Unless he had a good reason not to. As some people parted and left each area, Kim went up to the places they'd vacated and checked out the things shown.
It was exactly like a festival but what was this? The boy's unspoken question was answered soon afterward by an unfamiliar voice. Hogwarts Circus? What was that? Kim's brow furrowed as he thought about it for a few seconds. He came up to the owner of the voice, after the crowds had parted and were currently directing their attention elsewhere, and regarded him for a few moments. "You do have permission to hold this 'circus' here, right?"
Kim asked with an arched brow.
He let his eyes linger on the stranger before him, who seemed to be in charge.
The Gryffindor was dressed in black pants, a sleeveless white t-shirt and a light, thin black jacket tied around his waist. No one would be able to tell at a glance what House he was from but from his stature and the way he carried himself, one might mistakenly think he was a prefect. Or someone who tried to carry out the rules. But they would be sorely mistaken. The only way they would know would be if they had met Kim before. And he had not done this.
But Kim had to admit, the things here were interesting.
It wasn't something he was used to seeing.
It was muggle related, which meant he'd been kept away from such things by his parents. Part of him wondered if the boy had any muggle snacks, which would be fun to sample.

Habib was a tad surprised when the boy opened his mouth and weren't all gryffindors supposed to be loud and rude. Eh, whatever was more important were the words coming out of the boy's mouth. This kid had the potential to be another ginger boy. That could not happen, Habib went over to the boy and said to the watching crowd "I am ever so sorry this here is one of my good friends he is ever so terribly excited to be here now then play nice while the two of us catch up." Then with out waiting for the other boy to respond dragged him away and began whispering furiously "Listen I don't actually have a permit but I'm pretty sure I'm not in violation of any school rules so if you could just keep quiet." Habib was panicking he was not about to have his first ever actual show be interrupted by some random gryffindor who should have been a ravenclaw. Calming himself, and smoothing down his tie he went back to the crowd. "Hey there folks sorry about that my friend was really excited to see me." Habib was however curious about the gryffindor boy so unlike the stereotype of his house. Habib decided that if the other boy wished he would talk with him again.

Kim blinked as the boy addressed the crowd before him.
He'd made sure to wait until there had been no crowd gathered around the stranger.
Why did this boy go and call attention to himself again? Kim took a step backward, to get out of the spotlight, wondering who this person was that the stranger wanted to get caught up with. Surely the boy couldn't be referring to him, right? But his suspicions would soon prove correct when the boy reached out to try and grab hold of him. Kim would instantly dodge his attempt to do so, as he did not like to be touched at all costs. Plus, Kim didn't even know him.
He was definitely was not making a good first impression on Kim, that was for sure. The sound of fighting reached his ears and he let his eyes flicker around the area. Some first years were fighting but it didn't seem as if they were using magic and their 'fighting' wasn't really that serious. He'd consider it more goodnatured arguing with eachother. It wasn't enough where someone would need to step in and separate them, which was a good thing for the boy.
After all, he'd probably get blamed for it.
The fight was taking place right within his 'circus' whatever that was supposed to be.
As for his earlier plea for him to be quiet about all this, Kim wasn't sure what he should do. Instead of waiting for a response to his question, the boy had gone back to the crowd again.
Once again, this stranger was not making a good first impression on Kim. He seemed incredibly rude and spoke to him without waiting for him to respond to him. The tall dark haired boy narrowed his eyes at the boy in front of him. Still, there wasn't much to talk about at the moment. Kim debated on simply leaving and alerting the higher years someone was holding something out in the courtyard without permission. It would be the right thing to do.
But at the same time wasn't sure whether he wanted to. Kim didn't mind if students broke the rules at Hogwarts. Hell, he tended to break them all the time too. Not that anyone knew this. Outside, everyone thought he was a model student who got the best grades in everything but Flying class. And maybe Transfiguration. Obviously such a student would never break the rules. Deciding to check out this 'circus' a bit more, Kim headed towards the stranger again.
Part of him wanted to check things out.
But another part didn't want to mingle with the crowds, they disturbed him a lot.
"So what is this 'circus'? You never told me." Kim asked, this time making sure to keep some distance between the two of them. The last thing he wanted was for the boy to try and grab him again. Yes, he'd failed the first time around, but that didn't mean he'd fail the next time. That was why Kim had to be careful around this one. He was dangerous. Kim let his eyes flicker over the stuff set up and spread around. "Did you do all this yourself?"
He asked, curious. After all, it seemed like a lot of work.

Habib does not know Kim is a Gryffindor, like I said before. Kim is not wearing Gryffindor robes and I'm pretty sure Habib has never seen him up until now. Also, just some advice, you shouldn't have Habib do something with someone else's character in your post unless you get permission from that person beforehand. You wrote Habib grabbed Kim and dragged him off. Kim would not allow anyone to do this to him, especially not someone he just met.
