Closed PURE ANNOYANCE. pv James Owens

James was sitting in class taking notes. He had managed to turn his homework early which was quite normal considering he was at the top of almost all of his classes. He almost never had to take homework with him.

He finished scribbling down the notes just as students started being dismissed. He packed his things into his satchel and left the classroom. The hallways were quite crowded so James went with the way most student were walking almost like a wave of children was carrying him away. This wasn't the way he needed to go but he would find himself in the correct hallway soon enough. Hm...I didn't know I could go this way. Well the more you know. He pulled out a book and started reading a little as he walked down a less crowded hallway to his next class. This would be his last class of the morning and the other ones in the afternoon a bit after lunch.

He didn't think he would bump into anyone considering that there wasn't many people in the hall but life had other plans. Just as was nearing the corner he needed to turn into the next hall he bumped into someone. A girl. He didn't even have a chance to apologize before the girl told him to watch it. She had white hair and was wearing green robes. How interesting. I've never seen anyone with white hair. But she's a slytherin. That's..not good

The girl looked him up and down seeing the yellow on his robes meaning he was a hufflepuff. He tried to apologize again but the girl continued to shout at him. " I-I so sorry. I d-didn't mean to b-bump into you." James didn't like being shouted at and he especially didn't like people saying bad things about Hufflepuff, but he wouldn't mention it. He didn't like to come off as rude. Especially to a girl who thinks all Hufflepuffs are stupid and idiotic.

Of course she notices he's a Hufflepuff, even if she didn't see his uniform from the start, she also would have known. Maybe just by the way he speaks- ugh such Hufflepuffs. Yes, Hufflepuff has always been her least favorite house compared to the others. Is that bad? She didn't care. They are nice, friendly, caring, and whatever stereotypes of their house are. which is the complete opposite of what she is, and that is so annoying. An example is given by this boy, he of course didn't retort to her mockery about his house. She rolls her eyes, although his look did not completely offend her, but there's still something about him that she didn't like. Stop being nice! Stop agreeing to her! she wanted to yell.

"You should be sorry. Look at how you manage to crinkle my robe!" She hissed. And obviously, her little outburst seemed to be working. The boy doesn't look too pleased or even seemed a little angry. Heh- She wonders how long could she push his button to their limits. Should be intriguing, doesn't it?

"Typical Hufflepuffs and their clumsiness. Can one of you be competent for once?" She says snarkily by brushing her robes with her hands to straighten them. Let see what would he do next. Is he gonna defend his house honor or again completely surrender to her mockery. Both ways, she's going to have her fun.

I truly am sorry he apologized again. He didn't mean to bump into the girl and it seemed she had some grudge against the house of Hufflepuff according to her stating they were clumsy and incompetent. That did it for James. He was not about to let this girl keep trash talking Hufflepuff. He frowned and took a deep breath trying to keep his cool but failed.

"You know, I apologized, twice already. I don't know what you have against my house but that needs to stop! Not every Hufflepuff is clumsy and incompetent. I don't know what it is with Slytherins but your house just seems to hate everyone and everything. You guys can't do one nice thing for someone or give someone a compliment? No you always have to make everything negative! And no I am not exaggerating that. I have never seen not one Slytherin be nice to someone. Not one!"

James usually wasn't the type of person to raise his voice or lose his cool. That did come with being a Hufflepuff but he had never been like that. Hearing himself he almost took a step back but stood his ground. This girl had no right being so disrespectful. James was having a good day and she was staring to put him in a bad mood. Soon enough they would both be having a bad day.

There it is. The anger. He is a fast learner isn’t he. Just a little push of a button she could easily break him. She smiled and laughed nastily. Is it bad that this is actually bringing her moods up? Oh might as well. Maybe seeing another person mood turned sour, actually makes her day a little better. Ugh- It’s a sickness, she realise that, but she could not help it!

“Oh even when you’re angry, you still look cute, Puff.” She said to the dark-haired boy, who seemed to get so worked up over her. But what she did not expect from him was how he was talking about the Slytherin house. That is indeed very out of character for a Puff, she never know they could be as prejudiced as she is. How wonderful, finally a puff can show some of its fangs instead of hiding behind that cute and cuddly facade. He’s certainly very interesting, it would be fun to toy with his emotion a little more.

“Huh is that so? and why do we owe doing or saying some nice things to you lot? you obviously do not deserve one, being as clumsy as you did.” She sneered.

“You know what, on second thought, I’m going to do something nice to you.” She said sarcastically.

And she took out her water bottle and pour water all over him.

“See, now you will learn the lesson of not to cross a Slytherin. You're welcome.”

James was acting out of pure anger now. That was really out of character for him. He sneered at her comment about still being cute even while he was angry. He took a step to the girl only standing maybe an inch above her. " We're the clumsy ones? We're the clumsy ones?! You're the one who's clumsy. A clumsy attitude that is. You got angry over a small run in. Shit happens! Alright? Shit happens and we can't do anything about it! That's how life works. It's not like we can turn back time so it never happened. You got angry over a small bump! You....You are absolutely ridiculous...Slytherin...the entire house is ridiculous! Some of you guys are actually nice but the rest of you...are absolutely hated. There has always been a hatred from students towards Slytherin because you guys are literally snakes. Always biting with your nasty poison, which is your words in case you didn't know, I'm sick of it. You are not going to disrespect My house just because you're a Slytherin. Hell I wouldn't even care if you were Gryffindor or Ravenclaw! Keep your nasty thoughts to yourself snake!

James stepped back. His face was slightly red and the veins were starting to pop out of his neck. He was out of breath as well. Surely enough this girl had learned her lesson by now. Clearly he thought wrong. The girl took out her water bottle and poured water all over him.

"Cross a Slytherin? Cross a Slytherin?! You just pissed off a Hufflepuff! What the hell is your problem!?" James said blacking out and shoving the girl. He had been told never to put his hands on a girl but he didn't remember that now. At this point he didn't care if they were caught. This girl needed to learn a lesson about James. His mom was a Slytherin. He had Slytherin blood in him. His mom was a nicer Slytherin but still had nastiness hidden inside her. Same thing with James. Except that nastiness had just come out of him.
