Blaze slowly got up from his kneeling position and looked at Lex, "I'm fine I think...." he smiled all though it was fake. "Thanks for the support" it was all so crazy to crazy and it didn't make any sense. Blaze just then remembered that Lex asked a question. "I mean I don't know if its a prank I don't think anyone would do such a thing... but to be honest... No No No, no one would do something like this."

Then he swiftly looked in the opposite direction. "It.... Stopped that noise its gone" he wasn't sure when it had stopped he hadn't been paying much attention. He actually smiled for real this time and then sighed his face was serious. 

He looked back at Lex and thought back to his question "We need to figure out whats going on...." then he had an idea "This might sound weird but do you think its a curse....... some high level curse of some sort it would make sense right?" He was even more confused then before and then scared. "WAIT..." He shouted "If some one can do things like this, you know if it is a curse were not safe"

Lex jumped a little at the shout but was also glad the wailing was over. "A curse? How and why? As far as I remember, I never met anyone with the skill and power to do a high-level curse." He tried to be logical, but it was scaring him. He remained calm under pressure. "This will all probably blow over, don't panic."

He looked at the lake. What if it was a curse? No. Don't think that way. There is no reason to curse them both. He never did anything, and Blaze probably didn't either. Maybe this is all another dream of his. It's not real... Not real... Maybe he should test it? If this was real, then what? A million thoughts raced through the young wizard's head. It all spun and danced in colours and shapes. He reeled his mind back to reality.

He gave himself a small pinch and winced. Nevermind, it's real. Stay calm, stay calm. There must be another explanation, a better one. Lex looked at Blaze "Maybe we should h-head inside." he stuttered. He looked at his hands to see them shaking a little. He clenched his fist and shook it away before sighing "At least inside is safer than out, right?"

Blaze agreed with what Lex was saying about no Wizard / Witch being able to conjure a curse with these effects. He wasn't sure though as he wasn't very familiar with magic. He tough of any reason anyone would put a curse on him and Lex he didn't really know much about the boy but he seemed like a good person. 

When Lex asked about going inside Blaze instantly got up and spun around to look at the castle. "I agree lets get going." I mean it couldn't really get worse could it? he repeated his tough to Lex "It can't get worse can it?" He didn't wan't to jinx it but he had to say it he wanted to act confident or.... try to at least. 

He started to walk off in the direction of the hoping that Lex would follow him. He did follow him and the two started to walk towards the castle. "Its quite to quite" said Blaze and for a while nothing happened and all was going well. Until as expected something happened. The two were just walking up a slope when a large rock started rolling down. For the first few seconds he just stood there terrified until this rock was a second from hitting them at that moment he jumped out of the way pushing Lex out of the way and braced for impact. 
But it never came.....

Lex's eyes widened as a rock came tumbling down, and he almost bit his tounge when Blaze pushed him out of the way. The rock almost hit him, if not for the obstacle sticking out of ground, which sent it sideways instead. Lex panicked for a split second before giving a sigh of releif. However, he cannot risk anymore of this. This day is awful! Almost like a nightmare!

He thought of what to do. Maybe... No... Hm... But- No, no.

A rustle in the bushes sent Lex into another panic as he ran towards Blaze and hoisted him up, being strong enough to do so. He slung the other on his shoulder and proceeded to run back, fast like the wind, which was currently blowing mildly. He chanted Nope in his head as he made a mad dash for the cas-Hogwarts. It did look like a castle though.

Lex was hyper aware as his thoughts ran around as well. He jumped and ducked obstacles easily, accustomed with the art of running away from his daily incidents in his old life he had left not so long ago. He can almost hear the dogs barking behind him, but that is only a memory. "You alright?" he managed to murmur a bit louder since the wind is muffling him. For an 11-year old, he ran quite fast. And he was still running too.

Blaze was glad so glad that the rock didn't possibly... maybe... might have kill him. It all went by in a second after that from Lex picking him up to arriving to the top of the hill. Blaze was surprised by the strength Lex must have had to lift and carry him all the way he was skinny and light but it was still surprising. Not to say that he tought Lex was going to be weak but you know.. surprising...

"Yeah i'm fine" he said answering Lex's question then carried on saying "Its funny what Adrenalin can do to you" He smirked then instantly realized he shouldn't no he had to be serous but then again he should try to lift Lex's spirit right? How can I thank him for that he tought and how could he he wasn't the best guy when it came to being all lovie dovie so he just settled for a simple...
"Thank you for that" he said smiling 
 
Then his face was serous "What are we going to do about all this, We need to find out what this is about. I know last time I said this everything went down hill but you know its important."

The mexican stopped when he reached a distance close to the giant castle that is Hogwarts. He got Blaze down from his shoulder, the sound of his heartbeat still thumping in his ears. Panic was no longer eating at him, and adrenaline began to leave his systems. He breathed a sigh of relief. He did not hear what Blaze said on the run but caught his 'thank you'. Lex looked down on the ground, clearly trying to hide his blushing (even if it looked like exhaustion from running). It was rare for him to be thanked by others, much less when it isn't followed by sarcasm right after.

He took laboured breaths. It wasn't because he was tired, it was just a method to fully get rid of the panic in his mind. His breaths provided an anchor to reality and a wall to his unrealistic doubts (such as the boulder changing course and going backwards to hit them). He raised a hand as a sign for Blaze to wait for a minute as he regained his breath and stopped blushing, still feeling embarassed of himself. After several seconds, he wiped some sweat off his brow and turned to face Blaze with a blank face once more. Doubt lingered but it did not interfere.

Hearing Blaze's words, along with his 'straight to the point' tone, Lex couldn't help but agree. It was odd to see a cheery person get serious, but he shouldn't be too confused. After all, the situation is possibly dire, if they're not careful. "I know." he responded "But I don't think it's wise for use to investigate on our own. It might save time and worries, but it doesn't seem safe. We're only first years after all." he paused, thinking. He pushed back the doubts that tried to wriggle its way into his mind. "If you decide to go on, I suppose I will try to help. But rethink this." Maybe he was a little scared. "We should try telling a professor, however absurd our story may be. Perhaps one of them can help?"

Blaze could see how Lex was and totally understood why he wanted to rest by the entrance of the castle. He still couldn't believe all that had just happened to the pair in the last few minutes from the visions to the giant rock hurdling towards them. He was still surprised how they weren't dead. He sat down while Lex caught his breath and sighed. He though and wondered and guessed and wished. 

Blaze saw Lex's blank face he was surprised he had no emotions even after all that had happened. "Aren't you scared or anything" he asked before changing the topic sure he wanted to know how Lex was feeling but it wasn't the most important thing he had to worry about. 

Blaze agreed they shouldn't just do this alone they needed help and a professor was probably the best option. He was terrified and maybe an older and more mature figure would make him feel better. "I totally agree lets find someone who can help, some one has to believe us... even if we are two random first years... But that doesn't matter I have fate!" He shouted that last part it actually made him feel a little bit more confident. 

'Are you scared?' he asked.
"...I am... unsure." he fiddled with his quill underneath his cloak. "I am, but I am not at the same time. I don't know." He paused, thinking about his words for a bit. "I suppose I'm just used to these situations. 'Showing fear means showing weakness' at least, that's what father said." He recalled memories of being scolded at for crying. Not ever again, he was free to act however he wanted here. They're not here to tell him to straighten his back, or give him discipline on their short visits. They wanted a perfect son, or so he thought. He did not realize he was clenching his fists.

Blaze's exclamation sent him out of his short 'tantrum'. The quill had ruffled up feathers, he felt. He pocketed it and set aside the earlier thoughts for another day. "I agree, let's head inside." He smiled warmly at the adorable exclamation. Could Blaze be his closest friend? Maybe. From his words: I have fate.

Time to find out what all of this is about now. Mystery and disasters are afoot! It gives him a sense of excitement, knowing an adventure is awaiting. It might be boring, or very dangerous instead. Still, it is an adventure! Curiosity and a little hint of excitement sparkled in his eyes despite his stoic face. He made his way back to the castle, lost in thought. He assumed Blaze followed, but turned around to check halfway "Come." he called, not realizing he was smiling.
