BlossomFest Great Maze - Innocent W PV

Blaze had heard there was a maze event and he signed up as soon as he could he knew it would be fun to try especially if Arceus joined him and was there by his side the whole time. The day came when the event was about to start and Blaze was ready for anything:

A maze seemed really interesting and with this twist which was said to be a goat, it had to be fun! There he was standing in the maze tall hedged walls surrounded him and Arceus the flora was lush and was bright green in color. He was confused on what to do at first though the rules weren't that hard to follow he had to pick from, one of these three ways to go and only one would lead to an exit or maybe the goat. It was a one in three chance and Blaze needed to think about his decision. All three ways looked identical just three paths surrounded by hedges. "Well," he said looking at Arceus "We have these three paths to chose from any ideas... I would say maybe Northwest..." it seemed like the right way to go to him. 

Action: Go Northwest.

Arceus went and stood by the entrance to the maze, Blaze by his side, sure with all the teams in this competition the chance of finding the goat first was extremely low but Arceus was willing to give it all he had, it would also be really fun being in a maze with his best friend trying to achieve something.

The maze was pretty gigantic with tall hedges surrounding them, so there was no chance of looking over them, even though Arceus wouldn't break the rules like that, he looked over to Blaze who also had a look of confidence on his face. "We can do this" he said giving his friend a gentle nudge and then listened as Blaze told him their three choices East, West or Northwest "It looks identical in every direction so our main goal should be to just try not to get too lost" he told Blaze with a small smile on his face. "Sure Northwest sounds fine if that's what you want to do I'm fine with anything now let's do this!" he said walking in the direction Blaze mentioned with a big grin set across his face for he already knew this was going to be amazing.

Action: Go Northwest

One step after another, your team is heading northwest in the maze. Taking in the green hedges and breezy wind, the hedges seem to begin to bloom more and more with flowers and buds. The hedges become prettier the further you venture towards the northwest path of the maze. Strange. Perhaps it is the right way to go as increased growth is happening towards the direction. As you walk further and further down the path, you realize that not only are there more flowers, but there are many more bumblebees. Luckily, they were cast not to attack and only be idle among their flowers. You keep going, past the bumblebees and towards what finally seemed like a dead end of the maze. Oh no! Your team turns around and you now walk past the flowers and bumblebees and decide on a new path.

You must choose East or West from the entrance now. Teams cannot split up.

Blaze walked through and fro through the maze as he and Arceus headed North-West. As he walked the bushes around him began to hold buds, it was strange... But it made complete sense that the right way would look differently or at least that's what he thought. As Blaze continued walking the Maze began to increase growth the bushes were growing taller. "Hmm strange," Blaze muttered. He thought little of it though. There was only one problem...

More bees now Blaze found it weird, "Why more bees?" He kept on walking forward now more carefully trying not to alarm the bees. Ahead is a corner Blaze slowly looks around it to see its a dead end, "Guess we need to walk back," Blaze turns to walk back. As he is walking back he gets curious and pokes one of the bees, the bee does nothing so this time blaze spins in a circle and still nothing the bees weren't doing anything, "Hmm Strange," he says with a smile as he walks back to the crossroads they began. 

"So where now," he puts his hand on his chin as if he is thinking really hard about it. "Maybe East..." he waits for Arceus's opinion is silence. 

Action: Ask to go East.

Arceus kept on walking down the narrow paths, brushing his hand through the leaves on the tall, hedge walls, him and Blaze mostly walked in silence and only the faint buzz of the bees was heard, he watched as the plain green walls burst into colour as buds started popping up on them and in Arceus's eyes it was actually very beautiful, he heard Blaze mutter something but didn't really ask him what it was as it sounded as though he was just talking to himself.

He then heard Blaze say "Why more bees?" which he simply responded with "I have no idea, it could mean trouble so we should BEE careful" he said the pun with a grin on his face looking over at Blaze to see his reaction before continuing to walk down the path, which ended with a tall wall looming over them, "Yeah I guess so" he responded to Blaze and turned back, now jogging to get to the entrance faster and stops as Blaze pokes a bee before spinning in a circle, he laughed a bit and commented "What are you doing?" chuckling even more before going up to Blaze and giving his hair a ruffle and walking back to the entrance.

He looked over at his friend who was thinking about where to go, "Sure East sounds great!"

Action: Agree to go East

As your team takes the path to the East, you become more and more engulfed by the maze. The hedges grow taller, taller than you are, and the light seems to fade slightly as the sun passes over top of your heads. The further in you go, the more you wonder when you will be getting out, even though it had only just begun. The ground was beginning to turn from beautifully taken care of grass to rough dirt and stones that scattered randomly across the ground. Not the best to walk on but still tolerable. Halfway to the next fork in the maze, an animal darts out in front of your group from underneath the hedge to your right, causing a slight panic. It was black and white to the eye and about knee-height, but not much else could be told about the appearance, or the type of animal it could have been. Perhaps it was an animal that escaped Professor Lear’s classroom, or maybe it was an animal straying away from the Forbidden Forest, trying to find its way out of the maze itself? You won’t find out. Soon enough, you come to the next turning point, giving you three options to choose from.

Choose between North, South or turning back. Remember that teams cannot split up.

Just like last time the hedges begin to grow taller and at some point become so tall that no sunlight is seen. It's dark and creepy in a way, "Do you think this is the right way?" he asks Arceus while they walk not sure what else to say. Continuing to walk the ground becomes rougher the lush green walkway is now brown and dirty and stones are lying around. Blaze even tripped once, but we continue walking. Blaze picks up the pace as he walks. From a slow walk Blaze begins to lightly jog. Until something darts in front of them. 

Blaze jumps back suddenly almost falling again. He looks back to where he had just seen the creature but its gone "Umm...". Whatever it was it didn't seem scary it had just startled him that's all. 
He had no idea what it could have been it was all a blur really. It wasn't large at all and seemed to be agile. "Maybe a cat..." it was all Blaze could think it could be. Blaze had had a cat at home a small ginger cat, he didn't know what the breed was but his parents had said it wasn't a pure breed... just like Blaze was a half-blood. 

Then they arrived at the next crossroads. Blaze began to think... "You lead this time I am going to follow," he then stood still and began to wait for Arceus to make a move. 

Arceus continued walking down the narrow paths watching the hedges grow taller around him until they were looming over him, he followed the path, relieved that it hadn't led to a dead end yet. "I guess we chose the right way" he said out loud though it was barely audible with all the rustling of the leaves. Blaze asked him a question to which he replied with, "Well, we've got this far so I hope so" silence then continued to take over as they walked through the maze. Blaze then tripped on a stone making Arceus chuckle at his friend before walking over and putting his hand out to help him up, "You alright?" he asked giving him a smile.

Blaze then started to speed up again, overtaking Arceus who could see his friend was getting a little excited until something darted out of the bushes and Blaze jumped back, Arceus leapt for him but his friend managed to stop himself from tripping onto his back, "Might have been a cat, about the same size at least, the good thing is it was friendly" he smiled a little as he got up of his knees and brushed the dirt off his knees noticing he had scraped one he just shrugged and continued on.

They continued stumbling forward until they arrived to not a dead end but a crossroad, he visibly smiled at the sight of not having to walk back and looked at Blaze to see what to do, Blaze then suggested that he should lead so he smiled at his friends offer and after thinking for a moment started walking.
