Counting, spotting
It was afte the last class that Lavinia decided that ,rather than go right to the Ravenclaw Common room like she usually did, to finish the days' homework assignment, to instead sit in the school grounds, finding a simple spot under a tree, she looked around. After a couple minutes, she decided to pull out an empty book, that her father had sent her, with blank pages, meant to be drawn or written on, and decided to scribble.... at first, she had thought she'd used it as a diary, but she had a hard time starting diaries... or rather, struggled in continuing longer than two days.
So instead she started counting things. What she saw, what she could hear. There was always something happening around her, after all, with hundreds of students, and maybe thirty or so adults, and whatever other people even were at Hogwarts...
Finding a blank page, the fifth one after a couple scribbled-over pages of started diary entries, she sat there, relaxing, and counting.

Sighing, she finally stopped writing in the book, frowning at how quiet it had become. Oh well. There was no hurry back.Four Huflepuffs chatting, on their way to Care of Magical Creatures.
Three birds around an oak
One slytherin who saw me, then ran off
Two teachers, running after the Slytherin. Wonder why.
Five squirrels running between two trees
One bird that flew above me, and it up in the tree I'm resting at.
Two fellow Ravenclaws, disheveled.
Life's no fun without a laugh!

Counting, spotting
Extressia wasn't in a hurry. It was a nice beautiful day on the grounds, in a good mood she felt energized to talk to someone and make new friends. This never happen at her old school, so she was happy about this sensation. Every time she tried to talk to someone, they seemed to have to scurry off somewhere, she didn't know. Like that Slytherin kid, she tried to approach, running away from the teachers. "Why today, when I feel like talking, everyone is not?" she thought glumly, flapping her hand in anger.
Then she spotted a girl in the tree, just looking out into the wide space. A small smile crept up Extressia as she walked over toward the stranger. Making eye contact, Extressia begins to introduce herself: "Hi my name is Extressia, it a beautiful day it is?" Before the stranger can answer, Extressia noticed the book. Wonder sparked in her mind, but she didn't want to intrude her with questions after they just met, so trying for the politest tone possible, she asked:
@Lavinia Vinewood"If you don't mind me asking what the book is for, your writing or something, I'm sorry for being straightforward, I'm just in a good mood today."
