the Library is the place for me. PV Closed

Mina walks into the library, looking around and smiles softly when she sees the book, just because she was Griffindor, didn’t mean she couldn’t love books! She looks around again, trying to decide where to start. There seemed to be lots of books in the library and it was large. larger than she thought. Defiantly bigger than the on at home.
She walks through the selves, running her hands over the spines of the book and looks around for some one else who may be able to help her find what she was looking for. She walked out of the selves and walked towards the front of the library again and then looked around and saw the tables and walks over.
She saw another person sitting at a table with a scroll and the Ravenclaw crest on her robes. She walks over and taps the table softly, “Um, hey. I was wondering, could you point me to a section on Charms?”
She knew she already had her class book, but she wanted to read into more detail. She loved reading about magic from the moment she could read and loved broadening her horizons and this person seemed to be someone who frequented the library and could point her to where she wanted to go.

Clair was just starting to flip through another book, this one about Vampires and Hags.
When a girl came up, she was very pretty, "Hello!" Clair greeted, she was in a great mood due to the O sitting on the parchment, when the girl asked where the Charms section was Clair stood up,
"here I'll show you!" Walking towards the far wall she checked to make sure the girl was following, it the girl did not follow Clair would smile and say that she does not bite, if the girl did follow Clair would simply start walking towards the area.
The library was a place Clair knew rather well, she had spent much of her time in this place and she had read books out of almost every section, other then the restricted sections which she really wanted to read the books from, so she knew why they were restricted.
She also knew her way around this place rather well, so the other Girl was in luck!
"I'm Clair by the way, Clair Fernandez, what's your name?" Clair decided to not say 'first year Ravenclaw' afterwards because she was pretty sure her robes showed her house, she she did not mind being thought of as older, should the other girl think she looked it.

Mina smiled and started to follow the girl, a warm smile of thanks on her face. She brushed her hair out of her face and looked at the girl, brow hair, blue eyes. She was pretty. Mina keeps a slightly slower pace than the girl, looking at the books along the selves, memorizing a few of the title and the areas they were in.
Her gaze snapped to the girl when she introduced herself, Clair Fernandez. . . Such a pretty name. Mina smiles, “I’m Mina. Mina Starr.” She tilts her head, “Gryffindor, obviously.” She pulls on the ends of her hair slightly. It was a bad nervous habit she had and no matter how she hard tried to, she could never get rid of it.
She looks down, “I didn’t mean to be nosey, but I saw that O on your paper, congrats.” She looks at the books again, running her hands along the spins another thing she did in a place full of books. She just couldn’t help herself. There was so much to know in a Library, she was surprised when she got Gryffindor instead of Ravenclaw. She had always been good with learning and creativity, but she guessed her attributes to Gryffindor were stronger than her attributes to Ravenclaw.

Clair smiled, "Mina is a very nice name, ooh house of the lions, nice!" Clair had met a few Lions before, they had all shared a few traits; bold, surprising brain power, and a force of bluntness, Clair could match it all, but she was a ravenclaw, it's kind of expected of her!
Clair noticed the girl, Mina, pull her hair slightly, she guessed it was a nervous habit. Was Clair all that scary? Or was it meeting a new person? Or a mix of both? Or maybe neither.

Clair beamed "Thank you, I'm very proud of it, History of Magic is very hard for me, even if i get straight Os in everything else I normally only get a E in History if Magic, which is rather annoying I hate getting such things as Es" she said E as if it was the worst thing in the world, like she had failed the class.

"So you like to read? Or are you just studying for a homework assignment? I do love to read, books are the best part of life, they never fight with you, unless their magic and bite, they never betray you, and they don't ever do anything you do not wish of them to do." She sighed, books truely were amazing and a big part of her life.

Mina smiles, “Thanks.” She rocks back on her heels and drops the hair she was pulling on. She smiles and tips her head forward slightly, “No problem. I feel like History of Magic may not be my own strong suit. I’m not the best at history, so many names and dates and things to remember!” She laughs softly, “I just need to set up my study schedule again, and that should help.”

Mina looks back at the books again and then back to Clair when she asks her whether she liked to read, “Oh, I love to read, reading take me places I could never go myself. At least right now.” She smiles slightly, “I love reading muggle books, their thoughts on what magic is. It’s interesting.” SHe crosses her arms and rubs them, lost in thought for a moment, “I can’t really go places so I read books about them and live it through the character.” She smiles softly and looks at Clair, “Why do you read?” She was curious about the girl in front of her, who she was, or maybe she just wanted a friend. She hadn’t really talked to her house mates much, not really thinking she fit in with them.

Clair nodded "I think I lack in that class due to the fact that I was not born to a wizarding family, so I lack the common knowledge of such things that they expect us to just... Know, whereas half bloods and purebloods have a magic back ground, and know that sort of thing as what date the wildcat strike was." She shrugged "Of course I can learn most things from a book, but still it's much more work then just knowing it. It adds to the fun I guess!" As she walked down one of the many rows that were in the Library Clair thought about what book she liked the best, "I don't think I could ever choose, I love them all, much as if they were my own children, and I could never choose one over the other. But what about you? Which book do you like the best?"
As she walked down yet another row, she nodded "yes I agree books can take you places you've never been, they can carry you farther then any boat or plane or broom or even time turner could take you, they really are their own sort of magic!" She paused again "So I assume you are either half blood or Muggle born then? If you read muggle books?"

Mina sighs softly, “I don’t just know, I constantly struggle with remembering everything and connecting it, I have to spend hours doing mini quizzes with myself, it’s slightly annoying.” She smiles slightly, “Annoying, but helpful.”
Mina follows her as she walks, still looking at the books, it would seem as if she was not listening to what Clair was saying at all if she was not replying to the girl.

“I could choose if I really tried but I’ve read so many it would take forever. And som are just. . . So close!” She was enjoying having a conversation about books with another book lover, she always loved to have a good book talk. “One of my favorites is. . . Hmm. . . The Hobbit by J. R. Tolkien.”

She turns her focus to the back of the girls head and quickens her pace, noticing that her slower pace than the girls, even if not that much slower, had caused her to lag behind by a few feet, and she would prefer to stand next to the girl instead of follow behind like a lost duck, even though that’s what she was, “No, I’m not muggle or mixed, I pureblood wizard. I just think the muggles are interesting, their way of life, sometimes, I think they are smarter, more creative than us wizards. I mean, look how closely we relied on magic to do everything, while the muggles were creating the telephone and television, then, put pops the mobile phone and flat screen TV!” Mina smiles brightly.

Clair smiled, "Have you tried making a game out of it? Like a game of hesitation, with a friend and you have to say the dates and facts as fast as you can without repeating it." She shrugged again, "Nit sure if it would help, i just read things, but i can look at something and just remember it" She was lucky, her father had been that way, and so had all her sisters, Belle more so then Izzy.
Clair walked down a row, they were coming closer to the Charms section, only two or three more rows away.

Clair smiled "I love the hobbit, I've read it far to many times for my own good, I have remembered most of the pages word for word, 'In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort.' She quoted the first paragraph of The Hobbit, Clair nodded "Hmm, I've never met someone who is pureblood who is so easy going about it, I mean I have seen Purebloods who are fine with Muggle borns, but they have never said muggles are cool, it's very nice to hear that, for I am a muggle born" she reviled with a smile.

Mina shrugged slightly at Clair’s suggestion, thinking it over, “I guess I could try. It might help.” She looks over at Clair, “Thanks for the suggestion, it’s one I shall have to try.” She looks around, wondering how much farther to the Charms section and still memorizing the path. Looking at memorable titles and interesting books.

She chuckles softly at Clair’s quoting, a question itching at the back of her brain. And pushing it’s way forward, and as always, she just said what was n her mind, “So, if someone asked you, could you recite the whole book to them?”

Mina ducks her head, “A lot of us purebloods are arrogant, priding ourselves that we were born from long lines of magic. And muggles are cool, it is just. . . The history behind everything they believe in and everything. It is all so confusing and interesting at the same time. And how muggles live without magic in their lives.” She smiles and figets with the ends of her hair, she could go on praising muggles on their way of life, they way they have lived centuries without magic.

“I mean, look at them, the skyscrapers and the cars and the technology!”
