The Goblet of Fire
It was a completely different day in which the former blonde meandered into the Great Hall. Different from the day that they celebrated the arrival of the international crop of students. A different day than the Ball would take place. It was one of those lonely, dreary evenings where a woman had nothing better to do than cause a little bit of chaos. A restless soul, unflattered by the pleasing face she saw in the mirror or the advantages afforded to her by her magical heritage, Marion Davenport was by nature a cruel young woman. Even before 'the change' she was selfish and vindictive, filled with pride and piss. A pretty face and exceptional potential, squandered some might say on a girl with such a dreadful nature.
It is what happens when someone has an ego of tissue-paper, they exist with this sort of bitterness that makes them ugly in spite of a glorious façade, any brilliance one's mind can conjure and whatever advantageous relationships one could foster. Their allies are as terrible as them and in truth the world about them is corrupted, the people around them are never for the better. But that was what drove her, that misery... even if she did not see it that way or did not care. The mental gymnastics involved require Olympian balance and a contortionist's flexibility as they often do.
She disliked wizards. The ones with the "good blood", that blood where they are more important. For their haughty presence and their privilege. Not that she suffered greatly from the concept of a "moral conscience" and the resultant "moral crisis" but if she were to inadvertently feel an inkling of regret it was easy to remind herself that in their position they could not be victims.
So at 1500 on a Friday evening she would find herself placing the name of some muggleborn into the goblet of fire. Why? Because the system was rigged, it always was to allow some blue-blooded 'prince' take the role of 'champion' and represent the school. All of the schools. They would have their token half-blood, perhaps even muggle-born, be a day to see a half-breed representing the school. The bloody Ministry would riot.
She wrote the name of a boy she had heard of. A Ravenclaw duellist, muggle-born reputedly.
@Allister-Jameson MacAllister
A Scottish youth that had as much of a chance of winning as @Flash Holmwood had of maintaining a human relationship. Seeing the world through someone else's eyes really gives even a hag a good dose of reality -- boy was messed up, and they called her crazy. But Allister-Jameson MacAllister did not need to win, hell he did not even need to place. Just another name, another opportunity to stack the notes in the favor of 'hers.'
So...

The great hall seemed to be filled with activity, many students were chatting amongst themselves as they usually did but some were starting to gather around a mysterious object placed within the famed halls. That infamous cup was the goblet of fire, one etched in history as the very thing that made and crowned champions. To Percy, it didn't really seem to fuss him that much. Sure, it created heroes and a fancy title for those who won, but how much would that cost?
The formally named Triwizard cup had been shrouded with controversy since its creation, especially on the year it was scrapped during the dark days. What it did to students yearning for glory was punishing, and even if you did win some victors would probably never be the same again. Upon reading about the history of the tournament as a whole, it seemed to bring the very worst out of the best of individuals. Anyone would do anything to be recognized and listed in the history books, even if it meant snapping in two relationships that were meant to last a lifetime.
Sitting at the Slytherin table, Percival was busy burying his mind into the latest edition of the daily prophet. He hadn't taken much notice in the goblet at all, other than looking up curiously to see who was mad enough to put their name forward. He had been pondering if he had any benefit in participating, being called a champion, or getting your name placed in the school didn't really appeal to him all that much. Although, at the same time he was itching for a challenge and something that would truly test his ability as a wizard.
There was also one other reason, to honor a special lady he held close to him.
After a few moments, he let out a sigh and lowered the paper to the table. He reached over and grabbed a piece of parchment, placing it in front of him before reaching over to collect a quill. Casually, he brought it over and lowered the tip down to the paper. Yet, it was easier said than done. The right hand which clutched the quill trembled noticeably, stopping himself when he was only inches away from the paper.
Gray stared down at the blank parchment expressionless, almost as if he was stuck in a daze. Would he really be strong enough to do this if he somehow got into the team? maybe not, but whatever the case he was going to be resilient to the very end. He didn't care about the outcome, as long as he came out of it a different boy than before his conscience could rest. The way he was now, there was no more room to sink.
Finally, the ink made contact and he slowly began to scribble all the details he needed. And a name he always held dear to his heart
With that, he got up and nonchalantly walked to the goblet and didn't hesitate to place it within its fierce embrace. There was no going back now... the fate of his life for the next few months was no longer in his hands. One way or another, Gray needed the tournament more than it needed him.Name: Percival Gray

There had been a big buzz about the up coming Hexwizard tournament; it only made sense, people would come out Winners, And so e would come out losers, hopefully everyone came out.writing as iNPC River Fayre
It was thoughts like this that had kept the French girl from casting her name, yet the more she thought about it, the more she wished to do it, with her sister not being here with her River felt she needed to prove to her family that she was not a wimp, which was the whole reason she had been allowed to come, because her mother and father thought that she would not be as reckless as her sister and join it, well her family had been wrong!
River walked up to the goblet with propose, her gait was even and her head was held, not in a cocky way, just a purposeful way.
Taking a sheet of paper she wrote very clearly

The Goblet of Fire
Howard knew from the moment Headmaster Lear announced the Hexwizard Tournament that he would be putting his name forward. Not that he ever expected to be chosen, but the last year or so had lit a competitive streak within the young man that was bound to last a life time. Yes, the moody, the angsty, the melodramatic Howard White had grown out of that pissy dark shell and into somewhat of a...jock? It wasn't to say that his infamous temper and shadowy moods had abandoned all together, but the boy was much more part of the fold these days.
So, there he sat at the Hufflepuff table. Perhaps surrounded by some of his teammates, fellow Puffs or friends from across house lines. Regardless of those that sat with him they would find Howard in a boisterous mood. "Alright! Today's the day!" He called out as he ripped a corner off a spare piece of parchment. For days now they had all been talking about putting their names into the Goblet of Fire and today he was going to go through with it.What the hell were they on about, special person? A bit personal as far as he was concerned, but he would play ball. Now, to choose. A few names would come to mind, but the scent of one still lingered in his sensitive nostrils. She must be somewhere close by. It had been ages since they split, yet her scent still stirred something within him. Mostly...annoyance. So much unresolved...everything. Stupid emotions, stupid girls. Why were they so pretty? And why did they smell so nice? Why were there three of them that tugged at his heartstrings?!?!? Whatever! Mercy trembled as she strolled up to the Goblet. She knew she’d procrastinated long enough. Why was she doing this again? She reminded herself of her mother, always trying to push her out of her comfort zone. “I’ll do it for her!” Mercy told herself. ‘I’ll show her that I can be brave!” she grabbed a piece of parchment and hastily scribbled down her information.Easy. The Goblet of Fire
At any given moment Galton was aware of about one, maybe two, major happenings around Hogwarts. Normally he kept himself absorbed in dueling (and the imaginary fandom he inspired) and became quite out of touch with the current events of Hogwarts. But it was hard to miss the Hexwizard Tournament. Even if he’d been able to miss the main announcement, it was the talk of the school. Oh and there were a bunch of random kids at the school visiting.
It was quite trivial a thought for Galton when pondering throwing his name into the flames to enter the tournament. While his ego had deflated to a more manageable size this year, there was no chance it was small enough for him to ever consider not entering. It seemed like the perfect place for him. Inside Galton there were two battling personas. One thought itself to be the greatest wizard around - the other thought itself to be even better than the first. Galton the Glorious pitching his name into the fire was thus a sure thing.
When it came to the day itself to submit his slip, Galton felt a surge of excitement. It made his small limbs shiver with adrenaline at the thought of the glory and danger that lay waiting. Galton was one for grandeur, of course, and would do his best to come prepared. That meant he had the slip pre-filled; he would not be awkwardly filling in the papers in the hall and then throw it in. No! He would walk confidently into the great hall and cast his name into the fire. His slip read:Galton would also put on his cleanest robes (a feat for the messy child) and his brand new Cloak of Seasons. While he didn’t want to make too boisterous an entrance, he wanted a little something to make himself memorable.Name: Galton Lansdale

The dueling co-captain’s short little legs would carry him into the hall. He would walk neither too fast nor too slow, rather the perfect speed to reflect confidence (or what he thought was confidence). In reality, this walk was a bit too slow to look normal, and he may have seemed a little inebriated had he not been for his clearly sober and intentional foot placement. There was little of his normal slippery and nimble nature reflected in these steps.
Now face to face with the goblet itself Galton’s heart began beating faster than ever. Not with fear - excitement. Just throwing his name into the fire almost had double the adrenaline of the opening cast in a duel - 10x the sugar rush from a good sherbet lemon. The absolute rush that took hold of his grubby teen body was comparable only to something he could no longer remember. The candy crown lost to the fog of his mind was the only thing that came close.
It would take a small hop for Galton to get his slip into the fire though. Galton was not a tall teenage boy, which was not something new to him, but did require an extra bit of effort from time to time. He’d expected it though. His walk would speed up nearing the goblet - carry him into his skip turned jump. He would land and pivot to watch the slip go up in flames. The paper burning adding fuel to this new desire. Galton Lansdale was now entered to join the Hexwizard Tournament.

Roleplaying as Kamila Yavlinsky, On March 23 2022
Kamila walked up to the goblet of fire ready to put her name in. Ready to represent Koldovstrovetz. Ready to become the hexwizard champion. Ready to prove to her family that she had made the right decision leaving home to attend Koldovstrovetz.
She watched as some seemed nervous as they put their application in. Kamila however was anything but nervous she was excited and more than anything determined to win.
Kamila opened up the application form and excitedly filled it out. "Name" that was easy she wrote her name out in clear readable writing. "Year" Once again another easy question she wrote first on the paper. "School" she wrote down Koldovstrovetz smiling. Excitement was building inside Kamila only one question left all she had to do was write down one last answer before she could put her application in the goblet.
Kamila looked at the last question "Special Person" special person Kamila thought to herself she didn't have any special persons. Kamila had always done everything solo why would she need a special person? Sighing she tried to think of someone she could use as her special person. At last Kamila decided on Elgani Harper a muggle-born she was friends. Elgani attended a diffrent magic school and had expressed how jealous of Kamila she that Koldovstovetz was preticipating in the Triwizard tournament. She knew Elgani would be the perfect person for this.
Kamila looked down at her application beaming with happiness.
While some were making a scene about their entry Kamila did not find that necessary. Kamila confidently walked up to the goblet of fire and dropped her application inside it.Name: Kamila Yavlinsky

Sana steadily walked into the Great hall, unsure about everything she was doing. Was it really the best choice to put her name in the goblet of fire? She was confident in herself, true, but she didn't know what would happen there. The last thing she wanted was to end up getting seriously injured, or watching her team mates get hurt. Sheś read the books. She knows what has happened and she doesn't know what makes people think this time will be any different. History just repeats itself. She walked up to the goblet, the flame flickering as she second guessed her choice to even be here.
Was she.... good enough? That was what was scaring her. What if she caused harm to a teammate because she failed at something? What if all this time of studying hard just... went to nothing? She shook the thought out of her head and took a piece of paper. She had to stop worrying, everything would be fine. Besides, the chances of her name getting called weren't exactly large either way. And if she didn't get called or picked, she would happily cheer her classmates on, and hope that they would be alright.
Special person. Why were they asking that? What did they want with her special person? She stared at the person and tried to think of who she should put. Who would motivate her to do her best? Who would help her? Or did they want to throw her special person into danger? Either way, she didn't want to put the name of any special person down. But she knew she had to.Name: Sana Ohashi

With hesitation, she continued to write.
She put her head into her hands, taking deep breaths to calm herself. Should she have put her sister's name? She was young, she was only 7. She didn't want anything to happen to her, nothing. She loved her sister more than anything.Name: Sana Ohashi

She closed her eyes and picked up the paper, dropping it into the goblet. Was that a good choice? Only time would tell.

Hoping to go undetected by the other students, Elizaveta quietly entered the great hall. For seven days now, she had watched other students put their names in the goblet of fire, and now it was her time. She wasn't sure why she had waited a whole week before throwing the piece of paper in the goblet. There was no reason to be nervous, she knew she would win if she became champion or got picked for the team. Good always won in fairytales, so she would win this tournament too. The most important reason for Eliza to join was to prove she was worthy, to make her father proud, to show Bob she wasn't an embarrassment to Durmstrang. When she won the whole thing she would look into Bob's eyes and show him she didn't bring shame to Durmstrang. She wanted to write a letter to her family in which she told them she was picked as the champion or at least was part of the team that would lead Durmstrang to victory. Her dad would be so proud of her, just like her brothers. Her mother would probably worry that she gets hurt, but Eliza was sure she would win the tournament without a scratch.
It hadn't been hard to write down her name, year, and school, but when she had to write down the special person she had to think for a few minutes. Her first instinct had been to write down her brothers' names, but she needed to pick only one since the paper said person, not persons. Picking one of her brothers over the other meant picking a favorite and she couldn't do that. Of course, she had a favorite brother, but she would never admit that. It would be the same if somebody asked her who her favorite parent was, she had one but she would never tell it. Now that she couldn't pick her brothers she needed to pick somebody else from the short list of people she could call friends. In the end, she had two names she could pick from, Dylan and Julian. If she would go with how good and long she knew the special person Dylan would win since she had only known Julian for one day. Even though she had met Julian the day before, she felt like he was one of the few people who understood her. When he had found her crying in the courtyard he had been so nice to her, asking if she was okay and getting tissues for her. He hadn't made fun of her, but he had listened to her problems and even solved them. In the end, she had written down Julian's name, instead of Dylan's, and was satisfied with her choice.

When she slowly walked toward the raised platform, Eliza felt like everybody was watching her every move and she suddenly became nervous. She wondered what the other students were thinking. Did they think she could win? Or did they think she would embarrass herself and her school and it would be a better idea if she didn't join? Did they laugh behind her back? She wondered why she had ever thought it had been a good idea to put her name in the goblet of fire while there were so many students lunching. Waiting until almost everybody was gone was a way better idea, but now it was too late for that. The only option now was to throw her piece of paper in the flames in front of all these students, so that's what she did. Elizaveta watched as the piece of paper with her name disappeared in the flames and knew that there was no way back now.

Even though Rosella really only liked quidditch, the thought of being chosen for the Hexiwizard Tournament excited her slightly. She wanted to prove that Koldovstoretz was not just a small school from Russia and that they should be treated with respect. She made her way to the Great Hall rather quickly, wanting to get in throw her name in and get out. Even though she wanted to represent the small school, she did not want all of the attention she knew she would receive from tossing her name into the Goblet of Fire. Her boots tapped against the ground in a steady rhythm as she made her way down the winding corridors of Hogwarts, already able to hear the chatter of the other students in the hall. It seemed that since the goblet had been placed there, students chose to spend more time in the hall than anywhere else, only for the enjoyment of watching other students place their name into the goblet.
Clenched in Rosella's left hand was a small slip of paper with very little writing on it. Only her name, year, school, and a special person were scribbled down. Only having chosen the who the special person was on her way towards the hall. Entering the rather noisy room, she glanced around nervously, watching as another student tossed their name into the Goblet of Fire. Slowly she looked down at the slip of paper again, encouraging herself to do this. She read over the paper one last time making sure it said what she wanted it to as well.
Rosella had a difficult time choosing who her special person was, she had very few friends and the friends she did have she had a hard time choosing between. There was Cassie, Charles, and Andrew all friends and part of the same group, yet she had a hard time deciding who was her favorite of the three. In the end she had chosen Charles, knowing that she had interacted with him the most and even through their petty fighting, they were good friends.Name: Rosella Sokolov
