A 22,8 cm wand of Red Oak Wood with a Phoenix Feather Core. Bendy, rather powerful, but requires to be firmly handled and expects conviction from its owner.

Red Oak Wood: According to Ollivander, “You will often hear the ignorant say that red oak is an infallible sign of its owner’s hot temper…in fact, the true match for a red oak wand is possessed of unusually fast reactions, making it a perfect duelling wand”. Less common than English oak, Ollivander “has found that its ideal master is light of touch, quick-witted and adaptable, often the creator of distinctive, trademark spells, and a good man or woman to have beside one in a fight”. Red oak wands are, in his opinion, “among the most handsome”.

Phoenix Feather: The rarest core type, phoenix feathers “are capable of the greatest range of magic, though they may take longer than either unicorn or dragon cores to reveal this”. Phoenix feather wands “are always the pickiest when it comes to potential owners, for the creature from which they are taken is one of the most independent and detached in the world”. These wands are the hardest to tame and to personalise, and their allegiance is usually hard won.

B I O G R A P H Y

Jacqueline Noena Tilghman was born to Seyer and Daenisha Tilghman on February 7th, 2010. She was born in Southport and raised in Clitheroe, England. She’s the middle child, having an older sister named Irisse and a younger brother name Jude. She had a fairly pleasant childhood so far, spending much of her time with family and her creativity pursuits. Her mother and Aunt Polianne homeschooled her, her siblings, and some of her cousins, teaching them basics along with some knowledge about both the muggle and wizarding world. Although both of her parents were born from wizards, her mother has a muggle-born father, which in-turn makes Jacqueline a half-blood.

Jacqueline thinks the muggle world is fine but no where as spectacular as the wizarding world. She can’t imagine how boring her life would be if she were aware of magic, but couldn’t practice, like squibs. Even though she descends partially from Purebloods she doesn’t particularly have any negative feelings about muggles or Muggle-borns as a whole. On her father’s side he descends from Aboriginal Purebloods from Australia, the Thalismani changed Tilghman, while her mother has a Muggle-Born parent. Her parents are well off, both coming from financially intelligent families, so Jacqueline lived a comfortable lifestyle, traveling around with her father, spending time around renown figures with her mother, and being homeschooled by her prestigious scholar of an aunt. Jacqueline spent much of her time reading, writing, and playing muggle games, even participating in swimming. One of her lesser known pastimes is watching old documentaries and films.

Jacqueline’s aunt is a big fan of seafood, unlike her. Once she made a dinner with a big octopus on a platter. Jacqueline refused to eat it, feeling sad for the poor creature. She kept staring at the tentacle on her aunt’s plate until it suddenly reanimated briefly, flopping onto her aunt, who screeched in a way that made Jacqueline feel much better. She didn’t intend for the tentacle to move.

Jacqueline is a biracial preteen. She’s of Latin and Indigenous descent. She has light, pecan brown skin and long, curly hair that’s ruddy brown. Her dark brown eyes sit on an oval face with small beauty marks scattered across it. She’s average-sized but may seem on the thinner side. Jacqueline weighs 41 kg and stands at 152 cm. She usually wears a long necklace with a golden sun pendant.

Jacqueline is a fairly nice person but her stubbornness often causes others or herself to keep distance. She often sits in the background as an onlooker than meddle in things, if she’s uninterested, but she’s not afraid of confrontation or attempting to get her way.
