Closed a curious corridor exploration PV

It was midday on a weekend, meaning free time to wander around the school and do what they wanted. Neptune watched, noticing lots of other students had the exact same idea as they did, minus the part where they were once again, all alone. Neptune's short brown hair, once again started to turn different shades of green and yellow. Neptune silently cursed their ability, always betraying their emotions that they wanted to keep private. Their fingers fiddled with necklaces and rings to help ease the growing anxiety and scared feelings of being around so many people they didn't know. They started to speed-walk, Neptune's black, drawn on converse with beads on the laces, discreetly showing their pride flags hit the stone ground faster. Maybe exploring the castle wasn't such a good idea after all. Neptune wasn't paying attention to where they were going until they accidentally ran into someone, falling onto the ground. They quickly stood up, pink streaks now joining the yellow and green hair, all plans of not speaking to anyone going out the doors.

"Oh my god! Are you alright!" They apologized profusely, "I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. I didn't mean to run into you. I'm sorry."

Nicky's day started out all right, amazing even. She was hopping along the corridor, trying to get to her next class early. She was humming a song and thinking about how she was going to learn a bunch of exciting new things and then go write an amazing essay for potions and send another letter to her grandfather and to Frank and to her mother and to her aunt and to her grandmother... A whole bunch of people. It was a blessing that her twin cousins couldn't read yet. She was so excited about it all that she didn't notice herself running faster and faster and faster and faster... Until she turned a corner and plummeted right into two people who were standing in the middle of the corridor. She got up from the floor as fast as possible with a very guilty face.
"I am so so sorry, are you guys all right, I didn't mean to run into you at all, by the way I'm Nicky and what are your names, I don't think we've met before" - she exclaimed.
They seemed about the same height as her but she wasn't sure if they were third years or younger, she was ridiculously small for her age, after all.

Nyx nearly fell to the ground the moment Neptune bumped into them and truly did fall once Elsa joined in. Their eyes turned a startled, bright orange and narrowed on the two. They stood up and dusted themself off, rustling their hair which almost seemed to turn a bit darker.

They took in a breath and spoke, “Goodness, did niether of you learn to watch where you step?” they shook their head slightly, moving on easily and their eyes slowly turning into a dark, wooden brown. Imagine if they ha been holding books? Or potions? Or plants!? That may have been a disaster. But it wasn’t, so they didn’t take more than a few seconds to get over it. Their tone, which was barely annoyed before, turned rather casual. “Ah, never mind, I am Nyx Eros Dove, you may refer to me by my first or second name and by any pronouns. I am in my first year, and yourselves?”

Then, they noticed Neptune’s hair. Their eyes shifted once more, the dark brown slowly becoming more of a warm honey shade with hints of excited yellow. When they spoke again, it was surprisingly slow paced and collected, if a bit curious and excited, and yet they left no space for anyone else to speak up until they finished. “Are you perhaps a Metamorphmagus? How interesting! I’ve not met another before. Is your hair colour dependent on your emotions? My eyes are like that, so it would be rather interesting if your hair was. If that is how it is, then what do these colours mean? Perhaps, hmm, embarrassment? If that is so, you have no need to be. Why would you be embarrassed? Because you ran into me? That would make sense but I still don’t quite get it…”

They trailed off, giving Neptune an expectant look. They didn’t seem to realize that that was perhaps too many questions asked too casually for a first meeting..
