Axel Oliver Yulnich Durmstrang

Axel was born in Northern Denmark to Wizarding parents. As a little boy, he took much joy in learning about anything and everything.
Before Durmstrang, Axel attended a Wizarding prep school as a young child. He did well in his classes and made friends. He also played sports, which was his favorite part of school.
When it came to life at home, Axel enjoyed the company of his family. He liked to play outside with his little sister and going to the lake with his mom in the summertime.
His dad, on the other hand, was not one for leisure activity. He was always pushing Axel to exceed what was even capable, and would not settle for 99%.
Axel's first instance of magic came when he was 8 years old. He had come home one day after school and gave his parents his report card. As expected, he scored highly in a classes, but his father was still not pleased. As his father yelled at him, following him up the stairs, Axel could only see red. He was angry that his best wasn't enough, and right when his father was about to enter his room, Axel turned around and the door shut in his dad's face, locking from the inside.
After that instance, Axel came to terms with the fact his father wouldn't change. Something snapped in him. His heart screamed for rebellion, so in the years leading up to the present day, he developed a defiant side. He still made amazing grades, but there was an unsettling air that followed him, like he was bound to break a window or a chair at any point.
All of this was for his father. It wasn't like the man would've approved of Axel anyway, so why not take it out? Dishonoring his dad's name was venom that Axel couldn't stop drinking, and he had no plans of stopping any time sooner.
Axel created his chaos, yet he found it in himself to not push too far. The angel on his shoulder holding on for dear life wouldn't let him. His teachers were worried about his sudden strange behavior, but confused at how he could still excel. He only had one answer for them: "I'm just morphing. You can't change me. There's only one person that might make me, but they just don't understand. Now, leave me alone."
Then came the letter from Durmstrang. Axel was elated. His mother was happy, and his father was surprised at his achievement. Dad started to tone down on his academic strictness, but Axel was on a roll. He'd carry this all the way to his new school, and he'd make sure his dad could taste the bitterness he held inside against him even more now than ever.
