Marcel wasn't a dancer. At least, not a good one. He wasn't as good as his mother, graceful and slender, dancing like a leaf on the wind. Most of the Wheatley men were gangly and awkward. However, Marcel knew he should go to at least one of the school balls. The Blossom Ball was coming up, he had seen the flyers. Therefore... he had to try to learn how to dance, didn't he? He must have. So here he was, in the Rehearsal Room on the fourth floor, one of the many rooms he hadn't visited. Marcel wasn't one for... friends, as much as he tried. He stood in the middle of the room, staring at the open space. It was nice, though quiet. He wished he knew a charm to play music, to do anything to keep his time. However, he wasn't that skilled yet. Therefore, he tapped his hands together, starting on the footwork of a basic waltz. "One, two three, One, two three..." He slowly stepped forward, then back, trying to remember the basic waltz his mother taught him a few years ago. He wasn't getting much of anywhere, though, as he nearly fell over on the third repetition of this. "Bollocks," he muttered, walking over to the far wall, leaning against it.
He'd never figure out how to dance.
Not like he had anyone to impress, anyway.

This morning wasn't that good to Harmonia first she had run in with peeves, barely made it out of his shenanigans. Then she had flying which still scared her, though shes doing better with it. Harmonia decide during her double free period to go to the rehearsal room, not to run her lessons but to merely play. Music helped her with a lot, isolation, sadness, and self doubt. With music, she releases those bad feeling into the world instead of bottling it up and try to forget about. As she came closer and open the door slightly, when she heard.Interacting with @Marcel Wheatley
" Bollocks."
She jump slightly most likely gaining attention of the boy in the rehearsal room. He is a Ravenclaw like her but didn't see him get sorted, so hes and minimum a second year. " I-im sorry for interupting..." she studdered, pulling the door closer to hide behind it. " I didnt think... anyone would be here."
She scanned him over and the room with a quick glance, noticing something missing, before looking back to the taller boy." Were.... were you." she started before shrinking back. " Were you practicing how to dance? she questioned hesitantly, not wanting to harm is self esteem.
"I believe in the pursuit of your own happiness, so long as it doesn't cost others."

Marcel jumped from the wall as he heard the voice of a girl ring out, echoing in the vast room.
"I-i'm sorry for interrupting..."
His eyes scanned her up and down. Her robes were black, as all of the school uniforms were, but he saw the Ravenclaw emblem blazoned on her chest. He thought back to the beginning of the year and recalled this girl being sorted into his house. He tried to recall her name... but couldn't, so he looked at the rest of her. Her mahogany brown hair was rather short, though it was rather well-kempt. She was rather small, he thought, but that didn't matter. So was he, shorter than the other second-year boys.
"I didn't think... anyone would be here."
He shrugged, straightening his robes. "It's alright. I was just..." He trailed off. He wasn't exactly... Embarrassed about dancing. He just wasn't good. And he didn't want to embarrass himself in front of a first year.
"Were... were you... Were you practicing how to dance?"
He nodded. "Ah. I... I was." He adjusted his glasses. "I heard the blossom ball was coming up, and I... well, I wanted to go, but I'm rubbish at dancing. I was trying to practice but I'm much better at charms, or history. Knowledge is my strong suit, you see. Not... physical activity." He smiled, walking over to her and extending a hand. "Marcel Wheatley, Second Year. We're in the same house, I see."

- Eliza Corrids - 2nd year - Hex: 8b654b - Clothing: Elizabeth has on a minty green sweater, with a black and white striped collared shirt on, and a deep maroon skirt that brings out the colour of the sweater. Her glasses, round today, sit on her nose, strips of hair draped down around her ears. She has on silver earrings, and her hair is in a large poofy ponytail. She has on black flats -The afternoon air was warm and fuzzy. As winter was bidding adeu, and spring waltzed in, Liz had gathered her ballet shows and was ready to waltz her little heart out. She'd been doing ballet since she was a young child, and she was fully prepared for any form of dancing she felt like.
She walked down the hallway, her wand tucked into the crease in her skirt. It was lovely really, being able to move freely without doubt, or telling of wrong. She was overjoyed. It was rarely that she had chances to do stuff like this. She opened a hallway door, and walked over to the entrance of The Rehearsal room- She thought, smiling at the label on the door. She'd been here before, when she had a musical montage session with some other students, and for the occasional dance session. It wasn't too often though, as she had duties, and school to do. She opened the door with her hip, a brown duffle bag in her hands. She stopped, noticing the two others in the room, shaking hands. They appeared to be young, one looking about the same age as Liz. She smiled. "Hello- err- pardon me for interrupting.." She rubbed the back of her neck, setting her bag down on a table bench.- Interacting with: @Marcel Wheatley - Mentioning: @Harmonia Melodius -

Marcel looked up as he saw a newcomer in the room. "Ah, I guess everyone had the same idea of practicing in here." He chuckled to himself as he looked at the newcomer. Another girl, he noted, with ginger hair. She was tall, and he tried to determine what house she was in. She didn't look too familiar, but he seemed to remember a ginger ponytail in his classes... No matter. Perhaps he could make more friends. "In any case, hello. My name's Marcel Wheatley, and this is... Well, I'll let her introduce herself. I was planning on practicing waltzing for the Blossom Ball, but I'm not very good at it."
He was very proud of himself. He didn't usually admit to faults, much less in front of two strangers. He looked at the new girl again, up and down, finally noticing the bag. "I see you have a duffle bag. Were you planning on practicing something? I can get out of your way if you were, though if you were planning on waltzing, perhaps you'd be able to teach me? I only learned a simple waltz several years ago from my mother, and I can't recall most of it." He chuckled nervously, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck.
Hopefully, he wasn't talking too much.

Harmonia's nervousness slowly disappeared." It's a pleasure to meet you both, my name is Harmonia Melodius." she introduced stepping back abit ao they were all equal distance from one another.Interacting with @Marcel Wheatley and @Eliza Corrids.
" While I originally came here to play a little piano or violin, but if you need someone to teach you, I have been holding free dance lessons in here so more could go to the ball." she said, then looking at the new girl." Do you know how to waltz as well?" she asked.
She didn't mind teaching dance instead of playing, there is someone who wishes to go to ball and doesn't know how to dance. She can't just leave him to figure out by himself." Do either of you have dates to the ball?" she asked genuinely curious who is going with whom. As for herself she doesn't have a date, she didn't mind, she'll be fine going with some friends.
Being a pureblood she went to events like this all the time, the only difference is that she wasn't forced to interect with spoiled rich kids at the Blossom Ball. " There is still quite a bit of time before the Ball."
"I believe in the pursuit of your own happiness, so long as it doesn't cost others."

"Ah- haha, yes-" She answered the Boy's question. "I'm Elizabeth Corrids. But you can call me Eliza or Liz. Pleasure to meet you both-" She held her hand out to the boy and then the girl, open for a handshake or two.
"In any case, hello. My name's Marcel Wheatley, and this is... Well, I'll let her introduce herself. I was planning on practicing waltzing for the Blossom Ball, but I'm not very good at it." He introduced himself.
Elizabeth smiled. "It's great to meet you both as well. And yes, Harmonia, I do know how to waltz. Do you, Marcel?" She asked, kindly, untying her shoes and puting on the pink ballet slippers. "Just as you, I've loved to dance for quite some time. And as well as you, my mother taught me." She leaned her back on the desk. She was intruiged to meet people who have the same interests as her.
"I don't particularly have a date yet. I might not go.. quite unsure." She laughed uncomfortably, moving a strand of hair out of her face. "So, you to practicing as well?"- Interacting with: @Marcel Wheatley - Mentioning: @Harmonia Melodius -

"I can't dance well, unfortunately." He stated this sheepishly. He didn't like admitting to not knowing things. "I... Want to learn, though. I seem to have... what's the expression. Two left feet?" Yes, that was the one. He sighed, pushing up his glasses. "It's nice to meet you both, Harmonia, Eliza." He tried his best to not fidget. "I don't have a date to the ball yet. I was planning on... Well, just showing up by myself. Perhaps I'd make friends amongst the other schools, as well as my own. And... well, it seems I've made friends before going to the ball." He smiled sheepishly. "But, uh... Yes, I do need help. I can go to a lesson later, or... I suppose we're all here... Sorry, I'm rambling, aren't I?..." He trailed off, watching as Eliza put on her ballet shoes. "Have you been dancing long?" He tilted his head curiously. "I'm... more of a bookworm, myself. I keep to myself..." He trailed off.
He wasn't good at making friends. Never was. He was the nerdy type. Sequestered, bullied... Alone. Besides, being with people was overwhelming. How was he going to go to the Blossom Ball of all places, full of sights and sounds and people, and expect to make friends?
He suddenly realized he was spacing out. "...Ah, I'm... sorry."

She has on black flats -To her surprise, he sounded like someone Liz should hang around."No need to apologize for something you didn't do-" She spun around, doing a pirouette, and landing gracefully on her feet, angled in a diamond. "I agree with you. After the Valentines event, I don't suppose I'll have anyone to be with.. You know, you can call me your friend. Perfect, actually. You seem great to me. Friend worthy." She blushed a bit, but it was hidden under her hair as she pulled it out of her face. She grinned, standing up and leaning on a desk, out of breath.
"Dancing is simple if you really want to learn. Merlin, it is one of the most simple things I've learned, compared to a lot of the topics at this school. In fact, if it weren't for the fact that I have so many other activities, I would start a dancing club." She walked over to the center of the room, standing with her feet together. "The first position," explained Eliza, "is where you put your feet together. Now imagine a small square, stand in it, on one side." She held her hands out as if working with a partner, and stepped into second position. "You simply want to walk along the edges of the square, leading with your right 'or left' foot. Then third, then second." She let her eyes close, and hummed a waltzy tune, doing a simple dance. She was in her own world at this point, waltzing peacefully. Her hair continued to flow around her shoulders. She stopped, standing in the center of her imaginary square.
"Care to join..?" She asked, after contemplating this action for a long second. It was best to try and have fun than to stay lonely forever. She smiled.- Interacting with: @Marcel Wheatley - Mentioning: @Harmonia Melodius -

Outfit
Mercy's wearing a coral-colored jumper with black ballet flats. Underneath the jumper, she's wearing a white, long-sleeved blouse.

Mercy was ecstatic about the upcoming Blossom Ball! So far, she had everything somewhat planned out, her ball gown, hairstyle, and accessories! She even convinced her friend Frankie to come with her. Sadly, there was one itsy-bitsy little problem. Mercy was a terrible dancer.
Sports, unfortunately, came hard to Mercy. She always seemed to be the slowest runner, usually coming last in races. Even when it came to dancing and acting, Mercy never seemed to compare. Mercy, being determined, always persisted, no matter the challenging the situation.
Suddenly, Mercy heard a peculiar noise from inside the Rehearsal Room. Did it sound like dancing? "Well," Mercy muttered, straightening the sleeves of her silky, white blouse. "It's now or never, I guess."
To her pleasure, she found a group of students gracefully waltzing inside the room. "Hello?" She whisper-shouted, doing her best not to interrupt. "I heard you outside the hall and I don't mean to barge in like this, but I'm a really lousy dancer and don't want to embarrass myself, and..." She paused, taking a deep breath. "Could I maybe have a lesson, please?"
