Out Past Curfew
Eri frowned then sighed. She stopped and walked towards him. "Worth a shot." Eri shrugged and walked next to him, not behind him so she could sneak away. He really did seem to care a small bit about what happened to her. She would follow him and probably just read in the common room. Hopefully she wasn't causing to much trouble. "Sorry. This time I will walk next to you." Maybe that was better than walking behind him. Well that was obvious. He could see her if she walked next to him.
"Yes I can come along." Eri walked towards the castle following Reid. Well she just proved to him that she liked to break the rules. Which was true but she didn't like people knowing she broke the rules. She kept going and hoped he wouldn't ask about the book. She had taken it out and was holding it in her hands and looking at the well worn cover. Not realizing she might have looked weird just staring at a book cover. The once golden letters of the cover were now not visible and cracks covered the cover's surface making the black leather look very old since it was.
