Journey toward an Adventure
Cynthia and her grandmother approached the Hogwarts express and stopped near the doors of the jet black train. Though it was a fact it was quite old it still looked like it was in pristine working condition.
“I’ll see you soon, my dear.” Cynthia’s grandmother said as tears streamed from her eyes.
“I’ll be fine Grandmother.” Cynthia reassured her with a smile as they embraced. While excitement grew within Cynthia, she could feel a pang of sadness as she wouldn’t see her Grandmother at least until Christmas.
“Study hard and remember your manners, though I doubt you’ll have a problem with that. You always were a kind girl.” Her grandmother smiled wiping away her tears.
“I promise I’ll write to you often. I’m sure I’ll learn so much while I’m there.” Cynthia exclaimed excitedly.
The train whistle blew signaling that the train would soon be setting out.
Saying their last good byes, Cynthia collected the last of her bags and waved a final time to her Grandmother before boarding the train. The train whistle blew once more as the train began its journey to their destination.
Once inside, Cynthia heard a lively chatter. Excitement filled the atmosphere of the train as young witches and wizards old and new conversed together.
Cynthia strode down the aisle way and saw most of the compartments were full. Some only had one student in it but feeling a bit overwhelmed she selected an empty compartment.
Setting her things down next to her on the seat she drew a sigh of relief. Though everything had gone fairly smoothly she suddenly felt drained and a faint knot of anxiety began to form. She wanted to make a good impression with everyone but she had no idea what she was doing.
Taking a deep breath she was determined to try her best to excel in her studies and work hard. That’s all she could do after all.
Looking out the window and seeing the rolling green hills she began to wonder what kinds of people she would meet and what friends she might make. The thought made her smile to herself with anticipation as she waited to arrive at Hogwarts.

Because there is sadness we cherish happiness and because there is anger, kindness is born.

Journey toward an Adventure
Nataly was really nervous. She was saying the last goodbyes to her parent on the platform. Of course, she knew that she'll go to Hogwarts and that there'll be a special train. Full of unknown people. Her mother told her, that Hogwarts express is a great place to meet your future friends (and enemies). But despite all that, Nataly was scared. What if everyone she meets will hate her immidiately? What if she's not good enough for this school? Nataly took a deep breathe (that didn't help at all), took her trunk, waved her parents one last time and stepped on the train.
Nata immideatly heard lots of different voices from all the compartments. As she freezed in place for a few seconds, she heard a burste of laughter from the nearest one. She felt shivers running down her back. It felt like everyone already knew each other. What if she'll be left alone? Nataly tried to push this thought to the back of her mind. She was not very good at keeping up appearences, but she triend to look confident. Her mother said that first impression is very important. Nata calmed down a tiny bit and started going though the train, hoping to find a place to sit.
But luck wasn't on her side here. Nataly walked past the compartment that chatting was heard from. She knocked in ones that were silent, but the answer was always the same. There was no place for her. Most people were waiting for their friends and some just wanted to be alone. Nata was getting more and more nervous as she kept going. She was afraid, that ones she cheks all the compartments she'll have to sit with a company, where she knows nobody... Her anxiety was getting stronger.
As Nata walked by another compartnet, where laughter was heard from she realised, that the next one was quiet. She took a moment to calm her heartbeat and knocked.
"Hi, may I seat here?"
