Honestly, Leonie was expecting for no one to show up. But was she really expecting that, or was she just hoping? Then again, her owl probably sounded awfully menacing. She had mentioned, after all, that not attending could result in further consequences. And coming from her... yeah, she could see how that might be intimidating. She pursed her lips as she silently watched the first person sit down. She didn't remember the names of the people who she had owled, but she did have a list to the side of the homework she was currently marking. Near the top of the list was the name 'Archer Reis', and after glancing at it, she looked to the student.

She had been trying to match names to faces for a while now. Whenever someone turned in homework to her, she read the name and tried to memorize the image of the person, but her memory wasn't exactly photographic. More students came in, and with each one she tried to do her best to match names with faces. Of course, it looked as though she were just marking homework and watching them take their seat - she tried to be as subtle as possible.

That was until a redheaded little girl came to her. Just by looking at her, Leonie felt irritated. She didn't know why, but perhaps it was just how the girl seemed to be so enthusiastic. What was it with people and being excited for detention? Maybe this was why she had never considered being a professor before. Entitled students like this exist, and at least in the Ministry you aren't forced to be nice to everyone you meet. In fact, this was hard for her to do, and she plastered an obviously fake smile onto her face. Leonie was not one to smile.

"Ms. Bishop," She greeted, surprised she didn't have to look for her name on the list. The German accent she acquired caused people to have a hard time understanding her, but over the months that school has been in session she liked to believe that she could be understood by everyone at this point. How else would they get their notes right? "You can start on the left side of the classroom."

Some people would ask why, exactly, Rhea Bishop is cleaning gum off of the bottoms of desks. That is because the letters she had sent Leonie responding to the detention notice were rude, and she claimed that she was 'too cool' for detention. She also threatened to get her daddy on the case, which made the half-Veela roll her eyes. She also used little emoji faces, and that was just.. not cool. Rhea was not cool. How cool, exactly, will she feel while she's scraping gum off of desks? Leonie wondered, before looking back down at the homework she was marking. It didn't need to be said to know that she had completely ignored the appearance of the Fawley girl.

Mia looked up from her potions homework and surveyed the room, noticing that the bold red haired girl was being talked to, rather sternly, by Ms Scheinberg. Mia grimaced. She liked Ms. Scheinberg, she really did, but could barely understand her, which made DADA stressful and most defiantly the hardest class she took.

People were pouring in, left and right, and Mia recognized almost all of them. A lot of them, to Mia's surprise, were from respectable families, like the Towers girl. Mia guessed that they had all been caught off of grounds. Why else would they be here? The rules at Hogwarts were lax, and unless you tried to murder a student, you never really got detention. Micheal, who was the biggest troublemaker ever, had only gotten two detentions so far, and both were from this new German teacher.

Ms Scheinberg made it impossible for people, or more specifically, Hogwarts students, to like her. She assigned lots of homework, replaced one of the best professors that they had ever had, and spoke in a thick German accent. Mia couldn't stop complaining about the accent. Leonie was a good teacher though, Mia had to give her that.

Mia rolled her eyes at the red haired girl who obviously pissed Leonie off in some way, and went back to doing her homework.

A word of advice red haired girl. Don't piss off this teacher!

Aravis sighed as she entered the room walking towards the Head of Slytherin. "Sorry about being a minute late, I had trouble getting here." She said before finding a seat to work on homework and catch up on things. She wasn't upset about detention at all though. Aravis knew she would end up getting it at some point or another. She knew her Aunt and Uncle expected her to, after all she was already a disappointment to them. She took a quick look around the room to see if she recognized anyone. She saw Mia, who she had spoken to some. Verla, who Aravis blamed for getting her into this mess- even though she knew it was her choice to try and finish what Verla had started. She noticed Rhea Bishop as well, Aravis had never spoken to her but knew who she was. She saw Wes had detention as well. Aravis had briefly met him on the train. Other than that she paid no mind to anyone else in the room.

The black haired girl sent a quick glare towards Verla before finishing up her assignments. She decided to get a headstart on the rest of her classes. Detention seemed to go on forever but Aravis didn't mind one bit. It gave her time to catch up on things and distract herself from her mind. In it's own way it was almost like a study hall to her.

Ezekiel stepped into the room, first, he is removed from his duties as a prefect, for reasons unknown to him, then he gets detention for being off the school grounds. To be fair, it was his fault. He chose to go to Hogsmeade with Serena. But he thought it was worth it. He had bought enough chocolate to supply the Slytherin commons for at least a month and a half, maybe even two. He grabbed an empty seat, looking towards the Slytherin HoH. Of all the people who would have found him, it just had to be her. She wouldn't be letting him go anywhere without knowing now. He sighed quietly to himself, taking out his Transfiguration homework. He wanted to finish it before the end of the week.

His quill ran across the paper, yeah he was ashamed of being in here for however long he was going to be. But since he was here he was going to make good use of the time, instead of complaining or just doing nothing the whole time. He felt semi-confident with his homework skill, but so far this school was a lot different than any muggle schools he had attended beforehand. This work was actually difficult and the professors graded ruthlessly. Meaning he would have to try his absolute hardest.
