It was almost time for the sunset, and Rhea hoped she would make it in time to see the sky explode into a million different colors. She’d learned from previous experiences that the Great Lake was the best place to have a good view of the sunset. There were multiple trees around the Lake, and the young Bishop tried to find a good one to climb. Eventually, she found a foothold on a nearby tree and climbed up, taking perch almost all the way up. She closed her eyes and leaned back as far as she could, resting her head against the trunk of the tree.

The lake seemed like a nice place to spend her time. She wanted to be alone; spending all her time surrounded by people had taken its toll on her. Sometimes, one simply needed alone time, to reflect, to relax. The sunset proved a good time to do that, as most other students seemed to prefer to enjoy the sunset from inside. It was quite a pity, but it proved to be the best in Rhea's case.

The sun slowly started to descend, farther and farther down. From her angle, it seemed the sun was attempting to descend into the water, its reflection bright against the darker shade of the water. The sky had melted into different shades of yellow, orange, and red, all mixed together to form one big expanse over the young girl's head. Rhea tilted her head upwards, and although she normally would've been blinded by the bright sun, this time she could look freely. The different colors gave her a sense of safety, relaxation. She felt like she could take a deep breath and all her problems would go away.

She embraced the silence, focusing on controlling her breathing. She pushed all thoughts of her parents out of her head, all thoughts of any responsibilities. This was a time to relax.

That is, until someone decided to disturb her silence. She heard a commotion beneath her tree, and assumed that said person hadn't seen her hidden up in the tree. It was weird, because her red hair didn't blend in all to well with the green of the tree's crown. She didn't mind, though... that was, until the mysterious person began to disturb the silence. Rhea decided to peek out of the tree and look down, raising an eyebrow at the person. She didn't want to come off as rude, or anything, but she really wanted silence.

"Excuse me," the young Bishop began softly, "Could you be quieter, please?"

Adelaide had gotten lost. Again. This new wizarding school confused the heck out of her. The moving staircases did not help. Why couldn't things be simple? Like the way it was in Coventry. But she was getting used to it. Getting lost was just another part of the process.

When she finally got somewhere, a huge lake was staring in front of her, surrounded by a bunch of tall trees. It was official. Adelaide Tucker was lost. She decided that since she had no classes, for now, she would just stay and watch the sunset and read through some of the books that she had purchased in Diagon Alley.

The sun was already setting, not fully submerged under the "Great Lake". At least that's where Adelaide thought she was. She sure hoped, because she would be very lost otherwise. The lake was surrounded by lots of trees. Ugh, why couldn't she climb trees? The view would be so much cooler. The sky was turning into a beautiful blend of colours. Orange, pink, bits of blue from the past sky, dashes of purple from the night that was beginning to creep in. The picture was reflected into the lake, a portrait slightly wrinkled from the ripples protruding from the lake.

Adelaide walked over to a nice tree with a nook at the bottom. The perfect size to sit in and stare at the sunset. It kinda looked like a biscuit being dipped into tea. Gosh, Adelaide would kill for her Mum's biscuits right now, along with a warm cup of milk tea. Coventry was far from here and the homesickness was starting to get to her.

And.... that's why she needed to start reading this stuff now. This was her life now. A witch, dealing with magic. She said that she would commit and Adelaide needed to start. She sat down on the ground, relishing the sound of crunching sticks and wild plants as she got settled. Reaching for the clasp of her knapsack, Adelaide opened her bag and before she knew it disaster unfolded.

All her books and bags spilled out, tumbling everywhere. A gust of wind suddenly blew the papers in a thousand directions. A girl she didn't even realize was there started yelling at her. Her robes got tangled around her legs. Adelaide flailed around and fell flat on her stomach. The couple of papers that she was able to grab onto were all crumpled and the rest were floating on the lake. Ruined.

"Sorry," she sighed to the girl in the tree. Adelaide stood up and finally got a good look at the girl. A beautiful redhead laid luxuriously on the tree branch above where Adelaide had tried to settle herself. The Gryffindor symbol was embroidered onto her robe. She looked scary.

"Sorry for disturbing you," Adelaide started bending down and collecting the things that hadn't fallen into the water. "I'll go now."

Making sure not to tip over the edge of the branch and fall flat on her face, Rhea examined the new girl. She, unlike every other girl in the school, didn't have red hair - instead, she was a blonde. Her eyes were a pretty blue, close to that of Rhea's. She was pretty, from what Rhea could see.

Swinging down to the ground, Rhea made sure not to get any extra leaves stuck in her hair, or get her hands scraped on the rough bark. Bending down next to the girl, Rhea helped her pick up her remaining papers out of the kindness in her soul. Although some papers had managed to get away from the pair, the majority of them had fallen to the ground, albeit a little crumpled. Looking around to see if she missed any papers, Rhea handed the bundle to the girl. Waving her apology off, Rhea smiled.

Although she was a bit irked that her peace had been disturbed, Rhea couldn't bring herself to care all too much. The whole reason she'd come out here was to calm down, not to stir up a fight. Sighing, Rhea took a few deep breaths in and out to maintain the peace she had. She didn't want to explode in front of this new stranger, who was just an innocent bystander.

"You don't have to go," Rhea told the girl, smiling a little. "Really, you can stay. I don't mind it." And she was right. Maybe talking to someone she'd never talked to before would calm her down, force her to take a break from her incessant thoughts.
