Verla walked in, hoping to find an animal to lift her spirits since she let her bowtruckle go. When she asked the shop keeper if she had any, surprisingly, she said yes, and he was trained and everything. Verla asked how much and she said since he likes to get into mischief, she could have him for free, which meant he was a trouble maker.

All in all, he seemed excited to be adopted, especially by a Hufflepuff, since no one else wanted him besides a few Slytherins. "What are you gonna name him?" the lady asked.

"I don't know yet, for now I'll call him L.A.K."

"What's that stand for?"

"If I told you, I'd get in trouble." Verla shrugged and walked out, holding him in her hand, mesmerized by him, she loved him, and she would love him till the end of their days.

She remembered of her old bowtruckle from the wild and how she felt like she was replacing him, but she wasn't, she needed someone to make her feel better, maybe Lak would do that. Seeing him look at her with wide and curious eyes. He was adorable, and she'd never let him go, no matter who told her to, she wouldn't listen.
