Selena Arden | First Year | Ravenclaw

This is my first time doing something like this. I'm not really the type to write my feelings down, because personally, I've always found it a pointless activity. I mean, why would anyone write emotions down, like they were something that could be contained on paper? I'm not sure my way is working either though. Up until now, I've just kept my feelings all bottled up until I break down every once in a while. If anyone were to find this though, I would be horrified and probably curl up into a little ball and wait for my world to end. Lovely, isn't it? Well, I don't exactly feel any different, but maybe this wasn't such a bad idea. At least the notebook can't judge me.

All right, let's see how the second entry goes. I met up with Will today. He was reading something, so I grabbed the paper out of his hands like I used to, playfully of course. This time though, his face turned red and he told me to get my nose out of his business. How rude. I can understand why though. The paper he happened to be reading from was a love letter from a girl named Alyssa. They'd been dating for a while now, but Will was still so embarrassed and acted like a lovesick fool whenever she was mentioned. I don't see what draws people into love though. I've never had a crush, much less someone I loved, other than my family. I know that love is amazing for people like my parents, who look at each other like they are the only two people in the world sometimes, but for people like me, it just seems silly. I'm happy with just being close friends. Why do people need to go bigger and better with everything? This got slightly off topic, but like I said, at least my notebook can't judge me.
