Sarah Aldrin || February 26th, Afternoon

It was dinner time and Sarah was quite exhausted from the whole day. Despite that, she enjoyed the fantastic Hogwarts dinner. Although it was Friday, she had a tiring day. She attended several lessons: Potions in the morning, Astronomy after lunch, and History of Magic later. She thought Potions was the hardest subject that day and she had to be highly concentrated during the lesson. She enjoyed Astronomy because in that class they learned about the movements of planets and stars and that holds a special place in her heart. She always found stars, planets, and space romantic and fascinating. Today they studied a map of Jupiter and learned a few characteristics about that planet. The last class Sarah had that day was History of Magic. That was among her favourite subjects. She enjoyed learning about all the events that happened in the past that helped form today's Wizarding World. Although that class was a bit boring from time to time, Sarah enjoyed it very much. In today's lesson, they covered the Gargoyle strike of 1911. Sarah found it quite interesting because she liked how Gargoyles protested for better treatment and she thought that they should have better rights. They didn't deserve to be destroyed because someone thought they did not deem up to the job. Everybody needs justice, Sarah thought.

As Sarah was thinking of the past day, she saw a little sad boy sitting across her. She wants to ask him what was wrong and comfort him, because everybody needs to feel accepted and comfortable here, right?
"Heey! Are you okay? You seem sad..."

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. <3

Ans felt quite comfortable at Hogwarts, but he was a little afraid of not being accepted as he is. After all, who had the same surname as the Headmaster without even a blood connection? Who had blue, slightly purple hair? His real question was, would he fit into this world? If he didn't, would he be left out? Would he make friends?

He had to go and eat, so the Hufflepuff went down one floor to the Great Hall. He pulled out an empty chair from the first table and sat down. The young boy was a little sad and couldn't hide it. A girl in her green uniform spoke to him. With a fake smile I answer "yes, I'm fine. And you?".

Would she think I was in a good mood because of this lying smile? Or would she see what I really feel? Sadness, worry. The Hufflepuff didn't even know which he preferred. His poor acting skills were getting on his nerves and playing the game was making him even more tired. Then he needed to talk to someone and ask the question that was burning in his mind but, on the other hand, he didn't want to bother or share his bad mood.

"yes, I'm fine. And you?"

Sarah heard the boy answering her. He said he was fine, but he didn't look quite fine. He looked rather sad and maybe even upset. Sarah had to answer his question and she decided to ask him if he really was all right as he was claiming.

"I'm kind of exhausted because I had a busy day, but besides that, I'm great. And you, you said you're fine, but you don't really look fine. Do you need somebody to talk to?" she suddenly remembered that she hasn't introduced herself yet. "And, above all, we're talking here, and I don't really know your name. And you don't even know mine. You wouldn't like to share your feelings with a stranger, am I right? So, I am Sarah. Sarah Aldrin. A Slytherin, obviously."

After saying that, Sarah took a bite of food from her plate. The dinner was delicious, it was really a rich flavourful meal! On today's menu were lamb chops, steak, potatoes, meat pies, puddings, tarts, and jams. Sarah was currently enjoying a steak with potatoes. She might have a pudding and some jam later.
She enjoyed the food while she waited for Ans to answer her (no pun intended ). She realised he didn't want to share his feelings yet, so she said:

"Okay, if you're not comfortable with sharing your emotions with me yet, we shall talk about some lighter topics. How do you like the food here, huh Ans?"

After a boy answered her, she asked him: "And the castle? How do you like it? I think it's enormous and that's kinda scary, but I find my common room quite comfy and people nice. What do you think?"
