Once again, Lamik and Everly were spared by the stormy lightnings that were blinking above their heads; however, that was the extent of their luck for this round, as they both seemed to struggle on deciding what to do next.
Of course the Viridian Vipers didn't lose this precious chance, and tried to turn the duel in their favour. While Hanako looked incredibly ready to dodge out of the way of any spell that might be directed towards him, Ileen had once again set her eyes on Everly. Pointing her wand towards the girl, the Wind Jinx easily left her wand and flew across the platform, hitting Everly right in the chest as the wind moved her slightly back. The jolt of wind looked particularly strong, and it would last for a while as it would also make things complicated for the girl, since any movement would be hindered by the strong air.@Lamik Fillestar - @Everly Charlton - @Ileen Knight - @Hanako Tone

And… nothing? Hanako sent a questioning look towards the Gryffindors. Even a clean hit on Lammy [Everly] didn’t allow him to feel satisfied. Being burnt, hexed or jinxed was nothing compared to just standing there and doing… nothing!
“ Are you guys that awed at my earlier dodges? “ he asked, oddly genuine as if he was finding it hard to believe it himself. He was hot, but he couldn’t be that hot. Hana could do his best and wish for it, but even with him and his huge ego, there was no way people would stop and stare just from dodging, much less if he was the one doing it. Perhaps he underestimated how attracted the Gryffindors are to evaders?

Lamik froze. Why did he freeze? Why in the world would he freeze? Was it that the sudden injury of his team mate surprised him? Was he cursed? Was it just that his stupid writer forgot to post and send in actions? Whatever it was, he froze, and that was a detrimental mistake. A strong blast of wind hit Everly. Was that his fault? Maybe he could have stopped it. In any case, it was strong enough to prevent everly from doing anything either.

It looked like they finally got a grip of that duel. As much as the odds had been against them the more they seemed to favour them now. Ileen didn’t wait for another opportunity and targeted the girl once more. Her wind jinx was powerful and this time she finally hit. Apparently they had really broken the curse. The lions had been impossible to hit and now she had landed a spell two times in a row. The young girl bit her lower lip confused by the lack of actions on the opponents team. Maybe they were plotting something? It was important to focus now and not let the success get to her head.

Slytherin was on a roll, and the duo showed no intention of stopping. Ileen and Hanako both concentrated on Everly, as their wands pointed towards the second year student. The two Knockback jinxes were well cast and both flew towards the girl; despite her attempt at dodging the spells, her movements were too slow also because of the strong wind that was still blowing against her, and her effort unfortunately did not pay off. The moment that the two Flipendos hit her, Lydia saw the girl get knocked unconscious.
"Everybody, wands up!" she said as she stopped the duel. Everly was safely removed from the platform, and the duel could continue.
Lamik, now alone on the platform, didn't waste any time and cast the smokescreen spell; the whole place was filled with smoke, that made things more difficult for the duellists, however Lamik didn't seem bothered by it, and Lydia was curious to see what would happen next. At least the stormy cloud kept sparing Lamik from being hit with the lightning.

Everly was out. Everly was out. It was just him now. Just him and them. One against two. As he watched Everly being removed from the stage, Lamik began evening out his breath, forcing himself to stop panting and calm down. The boy closed his eyes.

Gryffindor vs Slytherin: Match 3
Nothing felt more satisfying than managing to hit one of the most evasive duelists he has ever met. The rounds started off as incredibly annoying. But at least one major threat was taken care of. Did he have sympathy? Nawh, he’s all ice ice, baby. He needs to be considering he started to feel hot from the ongoing round and his past trouble with their fire spells. He was barely hanging on himself, he didn’t have the energy to care for Lammy [Everly]. But good god was she a troublemaker. It would do him well to remember her for future duels. As much as he wanted to let out a sigh of relief, the duel was far from over.
Right before he was hoping to share a romantic stare between him and Evie [Lamik], his future lover had decided he wanted to take a nap while standing up. A remark about it was just on the tip of Hanako’s tongue before he was greeted with a familiar shroud of smoke.
He groaned. “ This crap agaiiinnnnnnnn? I’ve had it with this dumb fog, Knight..” he was surprised he found himself complaining to his partner. There was probably poison in this fog. One that causes forgetfulness, because there was no way he should be comfortable with Ileen. And yet, here he was.

There was a short moment of triumph when she managed to hit Everly another time. But it faded fast. As every time she casted a spell at someone that was meant to do only damage, she felt some sort of restraint. Hurting people was something she hated. The moment the spells hit Everly the young Slytherin girl flinched slightly, feeling sympathy for the pain she had experienced so many times herself. Well, that was how it goes – she had accepted it. Get over it, Knight.
She bit her lip and watched as Everly was removed from stage. She didn’t care if Hanako saw the guilt written all over her face and judged her by that. If she could go and help her in the hospital wing…
WAIT! HOLD ON!
She was ambitious and she wanted to win! She needed to get her head back in the game and focus. She was a duellist, and it was not the right time to get back on the road she already fought off during duels.
Thankfully, Lamik created another problem that was pressing enough to bring back her focus. “Stop whining, Hanako. We are turning this around and who had thought that?” She shot him a short smile before she realized that he couldn’t she her. And he had a point... “Me too…”

The duel was going in a completely different direction in that moment, than it did at the very beginning. With one Gryffindor opponent down, Slytherin had the advantage of having both duellists still on the field; however, with the thick smoke covering the platform, it wasn't exactly easy to see. Perhaps that was the reason why Ileen had decided to help her partner and healed him, since aiming at Lamik might have ended up hurting Hanako.
While the smoke was bothering the Slytherins, Lamik didn't seem affected by it; the boy seemed more than capable of seeing under that condition, and he mostly likely felt so confident that he tried to cast his Knockback Jinx not just towards one, but both of the Slytherin duellists. As the stormy clouds kept sparing him from the lightning, his Knockback Jinx didn't meet their targets: Ileen easily avoided it, and if Hanako hadn't been ready to dodge any spell that would fly his way, he would have been hurt. However, Hanako still managed to avoid it, and did not sustain any damage.
