Happy Birthday Simon!
Party party with all who came.
There was music and there friends and there was laughter. Simon had a lot of fun at his thirteenth Birthday party and was grateful for all who came. He also appreciated all that Clair and Haley had put into it.
Thirteen would no doubt bring about new experiences and challenges for the Hufflepuff, as had the years before. Each had their own. This year might be a little different though. Simon had read books in the library and knew it would be around this age that dhampirs received their adult fangs and it was around this age that dhampirs begin to get the unsettling aura. He also had recently written his father in the hopes of hearing something back and then there were other upcoming changes.
That wouldn't be his focus right now, and instead he just took in the moment with his friends. Right now was a frozen moment in time where he didn't have to worry about any changes that came with being a dhampir or any changes that dealt with growing older and life changing.
Things changed; that's the way it was. Still, through all the ups and downs and no matter where life took him, he hoped that there would still always be music, friendship, and laughter.

The teen was glad that Simon didn't mind the gifts for Rascal, glad that he wanted the best for the rodent as well. Smilimg softly at Simon's reponse as Loki pawed lightly, not that pleased that his little friend wasn't there. The action, a enough to cause the teen to shake his head lightly as he stood off on the side for a few moments watching others interact as he waited.
Not much happened, the teen wasn't in the mood for socializing as he walked over toward Simon and Lucia. On the side, only loud enough for the two to hear as he spoke"I'm going to go, happy birthday Simon and see you both later," a nod toward them both before the teen left the room with Loki on his heels
Walking from the rehearsal room, the twen thought about going toward the duel room for some pratice or library to study but wasn't in the mood- actually headspace for either. Walking alone with only his feline as he walked, mauling over his thoughts and past mermories. Remembering first meeting Alexa, through Alina someone else who isn't there anymore wondering if the girl knew... if she knew... a thought suddenly struck. A horrifying and sadden one as he walked alone.
