History/Background Story: Before Hogwarts, she didn't know she was a witch - as she came from a muggle family. Born to Olivia and George Spinnikins, older brother, named Leo Spinnikins. Also has a younger brother, James, 9 years old.

Claire was 9, just about to be 10. She was at a muggle-mall with her mother. They both were shopping. Claire's mum told her to wait outside a shop as she had to buy some things. Claire waited but got bored. She started exploring the mall. She took the lift to the terrace. She reached the terrace, it was beautiful. She went to the railing, which was long, without any gaps. She tried standing on her tiptoes to see the view, but couldn't. So she tried standing on the railing, but lost her balance and fell. The mall was 4 floors, it was almost impossible to stay alive - or - without any injuries. She closed her eyes. Then, something incredible happened. She...Bounced? She bounced harmlessly on the ground. It was as though nothing like this had happened, and she had just jumped from a bed. She was in deep shock. Her mother came running to her in tears, shocked to see her without any injury - and pleased too, of course. They immediately went home. As her brother was a wizard, Her mother suspected magic. Apparently, the same thing happened to her brother - not the exact same thing - but he also fell from a height. Now, her mother told claire what she thought, and claire was all excited.
