Since the last round of spells being slung around... Cody decided to start paying a trifle more attention to what was occurring right now. It seemed that Clair decided to get revenge for what happened in the last spell-slinging occasion. She cast Incendio at Lea, and Lea seemed to dodge that... but yet... still get hit by it.
He smiled at Clair, but realized that there were two more attackers... asides from Del being on the ground.
He saw that Lea cast the Knockback Jinx at Clair ah but she also dodged it... partially. It was an impaired hit. He exclaimed. That looked like it hurt!
The third attack he saw, and probably would be the last, was of another flipendo aimed towards the first year ravenclaw. That poor girl has to deal with higher years attacking her! But of course, a very good and talented dodge was hand in hand with Henry missing Clair with flipendo.
But Delilah was getting out of the full body bind curse that Henry inflicted unto her, with ease.
Cody clapped, so excited. Another good and awesome round. And he felt intrigued with what was going on. Was it worth it? For sure!

To finally hit someone with a spell was something Clair wanted to dance about -no she did not want to be hit by dancing feet spell Cody-
She was not about to dance though, not in front of the other team, no that would be being a sore head, and they had not danced in her face every time they had hit, which had been far to often.
She smiled, she had dodged a spell and had hit with her own, luck was waking up, after a far too long winter nap, she smiled.
Luck was not every thing, she also had to aim and think clearly, as she trued to think clearly a song filled her head,
I cam see clearly now that the rain is gone... she pushed the song out for her head, no she did not want a song stuck in her head! Not right now! She looked at Cody, and then Delilah and then Henry and lastly Lea, part of her felt bad, for hitting Lea with fire, but Lea had hit Clair with fire before right? So it was ok right? And this was a duel! This was what you should do hit the people your dueling, why did she feel bad? Aiming her wand she got ready hoping to hit again.

Well, the intention had been there. It was rather clear what the strategy was of both Lea and Henry while the two both aimed at Clair. She hoped that the younger student didn't take it personally as she cast, "Flipendo." It seemed as though the other knew what the Blazing Phoenixes had planned, able to dodge Henry's and only get clipped by Lea's. The second year blinked, a bit surprised that the strategy hadn't worked. "Impressive." She called out, nodding at the Ravenclaw.
Perhaps that was what distracted the hufflepuff as Clair's own spell flew towards her. Luckily, she managed to get out of the way of a decent amount of it, but fire was still fire- and it burned. "Good hit, too." She'd call out again, wincing a bit as brown eyes glanced towards the orange and red flames that were far too close. Then, Lea would look towards the one person she hadn't really paid attention to yet. Delilah. It seemed as though the older ravenclaw was moving again- that meant that the body bind curse had stopped. She'd keep that note in the back of her mind as she noted that it was once again a 2 v 2.

Henry watched as the first year dodged one of the flipendos, the thurd year was a little relieved to be honest. While he does enjoy dueling and would normally take a opportunity to strengthen his skills, this wasn't a school duel and Clair is two years below him so the teen couldn't help hit feel bad for her everytime a spell hit.
"Nice hit, remember to focus and breath," Henry commented on his parther's aim and spellwork. The two seemed to work well together. Henry was glad there isn't and tension between them from the first stage, occasionally he still feot bad for hie that stage ended for hufflepuff.
Catching the flames, Henry shook his head a bit. Incendio perhaps his least favorite spell. The teen experienced it quite a bit and could only imagine how the warmth and burning sensation could provide as a distraction, Henry leaned in a little toward Lea as he whispered"are you alright?I'm here if you need help," referring to flames as he reposition himself but eyes flickering between Lea and the two ravenclaws.
Loki sat on the side, watching his onwer with a amber fix. Tail flickering from side to side.
Henry watched the elder year break free, his heart beating a little glad to see that she was alright. The teen restrained his emotions as he called over, "do we get to have another chance to witness a split spell?" The act of splitting a spell. Henry found himself curious and wanting every chance to see it in action.

@Clair Fernandez | @Lea Hirsch | @Henry Knight[font=times new roman] Bursting out of the body bind with relative ease, Del hopped back up onto her feet, she was pretty nimble, likely due to her short height? Who knows? It was a weird one, but it was certainly handy for duelling that was for sure. Catching her breath back from being knocked down, she looked over to Henry.
"Are you testing me or daring me?" she asked with a cheeky grin, she was totally up to it though, there was plenty of options for her to use, and she could either d what he wanted, or not bother, it was entirely up to Delilah, it was a bit thrilling though, she really loved duelling even if it was fake duel, it was still plenty of fun!
She did feel a bit bad for Lea who was currently...ablaze. "Hey, you alright?" She asked, she had been in that position plenty of times, not fun, to say the least. It was actually, quite the opposite of fun.
Wand gripped tightly, a grin on her face, Delilah was up and ready to go once again, hyped to continue the duel and continue..hopefully winning? Although it wasn't going brilliantly, she was hopeful they could turn it around.

So, Cody was left with his mouth gaping, his eyes blown with being impressed. Another round of shots seemed to be fired... only... to see two people attempting to heal- Delilah was using the healing spell on Clair, as well as herself. Unfortunately, it seemed that Lea wouldn't benefit much from Henry's attempt to keep her in the game- not saying she was out of course, but the fact that she was still aflame blew his mind.
Delilah and Clair both gained some good benefits though from Delilah's spell spread. Clair however, was hit by the knockback jinx, the same time she attempted to cast the Levitation Spell at Lea. Lea, who was the same exact person who cast Flipendo at the young first year Ravenclaw.
Perhaps Del actually saved her partner because it seemed that Clair was wobbling a bit. And as well as for Lea, however, Lea dodged her Levitation spell, and got healed by Henry, as it seemed, so Clair and Lea didn't seem so wobbly, which was lucky because Cody didnt feel the need to drag someone taller than he was out of harm's way, but then again, he could practice his work outs, and not rely completely on magic.
He was now ready.

As Del spell spread a beating spell on both Clair and Del, Clair felt a little better, but that did not last long, because ooof, Lea had hit her with the knock hack jinx, ouch.
And it seemed that while Del's spell spread worked, Clair's normal spell, failed, she felt like shaking her wand yet she also felt like having a nap, which as a fact she was not going to do either! The Ravenclaw pulled herself together as a thought crossed her head, she was was at the disadvantage, all the others were in higher years, and they dueled as a sport, Clair on the other hand, was in her first year, and she was a broom racer, which in a way should have made her better at dueling because broom racing is just dueling in the air, on brooms while everything is trying to kill You. But oddly Clair found it harder to be standing still and casting and not be casting while moving on a broom, maybe that was because the others were more aware of Del and her trying to hit them, (because duh, that is the point of dueling!) whereas in racing the targets were focused on racing more then dodging spells.

It seemed Delilah and Henry both had the same idea- that made sense after all, Lea hadn't felt particularly good after the fire and knockback. While still aflame, it was starting to dwindle some more and the further healing reduced any pain she was feeling. Good- that meant better concentration for her. "Thank you." The hufflepuff would offer a quick head nod in thanks, before focusing her wand on the first year once more. "Uhh- alright enough." Lea commented in reply to Delilah. She was rather thankful that the flames seemed small, but fire was still fire and it burned.
"Flipendo." The spell flew exactly as intended, hitting Clair squarely. Still, the amount of damage done wouldn't be much considering the healing that Delilah had done. It seemed to be a pretty significant amount considering the younger ravenclaw didn't fall. Lea felt a little bad for her, understanding how it felt to be in a similar position. Still, duelling was focused on knocking people out, so the hufflepuff couldn't feel too terrible.
It seemed Clair was still focused on her as well as another spell flew her way. It seemed more accurate, a little worried that it would actually hit. But her instincts saved her in the end, able to duck out of the way of the flying spell. "That was really close. Nice."

Henry whispered thr healing incantation under his breath, aiming his wans toward Lea as he watched the flames dwindled down a bit in size from what they originally were.
A return nod toward his parther as he whsipered to her, "breath, stay focus and control your nerves. You got this." A small piece of advice since he knew just how painful the incendio charm is, having experienced it in every duel with Bridget. He understood that he is thr younger of the two but constantly being the target got a little old. Eyeing at his younger partner, he figured that was whay is happening that day.
Lea is the younger one so their targeting her first... he guessed at least as he eyed their opponents watching Del perform a split healing spell.
The teen found the thought amusing. How alike Ravenclaw and Slytherin are in dueling. How they can think of thr smae spells, the same strategy. Debuffing or attacking spells, choosing exactly the modt strategic moment to heal. It only made sense the two are ranked first and second in the official duels last year and Henry gussed they would be this year. Wandering quietly what would happen if a slytherin and ravenclaw parthered up for a duel.
Offering a friendly nod toward Del as he spoke"if that was a test than dare I say that I'm impressed," a little friendly words or banyer never hurt anyonr as he mentioned the elder year's split spell which to him is truly a sight to behold.
The teen aimed his wand ahead, eyes following the levitation spell from Clair. Nodding a little when Lea dodged then standing back as she engaged in banter or words with Clair. Leaving the yoinger years to talk or fire spells as his eyes turned toward Del as he spoke"a healing spell to? So great minds think alike then," a small smile as he quite enoued this little duel.

@Clair Fernandez | @Lea Hirsch | @Henry Knight[font=times new roman]Just As Delilah had healed the pair of them, Lea was pretty quick to knock her back down, Clair missed but Henry healed up Lea. Del turned to Clair to make sure she was alright, and she did seem okay. This was the awful thing about this game, you could get really hurt but at least it's all healable, you'll be fine by the end of the day. It's still pain but at least it's temporary pain I guess.
She was glad that Henry was interested in her spell spread, maybe she would give him a hand learning how to do it at some point, she would be willing to, she loved helping people, even if they were on the opposite team. Henry definitely had brilliant potential, maybe she would watch one of his duels in the next round, she wondered if he was any different when there was more house pride on the line. This duel definitely felt calm in comparison but she did still want to win of course, but she knew nobody would be disappointed if she came back with a loss except herself. Although Dee was never bothered anyway, the captains were always supportive no matter what happened. That was actually one of her favourite parts of duelling, the team, feeling like you belong there. It did take her a while but being one of the oldest duellists, people seemed to actually love her? It felt great!
