A First Performance Finished

Yellow- Speaking
Pink- Thinking

Opal gingerly walked into the Rehearsal Room, gazing upon the great size of it. They noticed the paintings on the walls and waved slightly.
' Didn't think I'd have an audience.'
They walked to the middle of the room. It all seemed a lot more daunting then it was at the door.
"Oh, err.." Opal fumbled around in their bag, trying to find the sheet of paper. From their peripheral vision, they noticed the curtains swiftly drawing over the paintings. They could hear the mutters of the occupants of said paintings. Opal took a deep breath in and pulled out a now rather crumpled sheet of paper.

They dropped their bag on the floor and gripped the paper tightly.
'Why did I ever do this?'
Opal took a deep breath in then begun to sing. Following the words on the sheet, they walked around the room so that every painting could hear their voice, despite the acoustics of the room. Throughout the song, Opal became more confident, singing louder and stronger than ever before. They wondered whether the room had any magical properties to it, not realising they were singing stronger on their own.

Opal stopped singing, walking back to their original position in the room. They stand awkwardly there for a moment before packing up their bags. As they leave the room, the faint sound of applause drifts into their ears. Opal smiles and walks off to their dorm.

Sometimes you just need to relax, that's ok :)
