History

Melora MacNamara was born on May 8th, 2006 to Eilis and Brenainn MacNamara. She grew up in Dublin and spent most of her childhood isolated from the world of muggles. She didn't have many interactions with children since her mother had her homeschooled and her sister, Aoife, attended Hogwarts only three years after Melora was born. To keep herself entertained she'd run into the forests and play pretend with herself or help her mother around in the garden. Melora has always cared more about animals and plants than actual humans. Due to her parents keeping her from interacting too much with the real world she especially has a lot of prejudice against muggles. 

Personality

Because Melora hasn't interacted much with people during her early life she tends to get anxious around strangers. Despite the anxiety, she likes meeting new people and making friends. She shows a lot of kindness and compassion but sometimes has a hard time reading people and understanding their emotions. She prefers to company of her pets most of the time, but those who she chooses to befriend she stays loyal to. 

Skills

Melora's persuasive ability makes her a skilled problem-solver in social situations. She doesn't like to manipulate or lie, but she's good at confusing and twisting words among other things. She'll seldom tell the whole truth and she'll sometimes overdramatize events.
During her life before Hogwarts, she spent a lot of time helping out in the gardens and exploring the woods which sparked an early interest in botany and herbology. She's also very good at identifying birds and insects.
