Potions Class
Frost stares wide-eyed into the potions classroom, relieved. She would have attended class sooner, but with all the doors, corridors and stairs here surely everyone has gotten lost at least once or twice. Especially during their few first days.
Sighing, she shakes her head as a wide smile grows on her face. She wasn't the first one here, but she wasn't late either. She takes a seat in the middle of the classroom. She wasn't the shy type, so she had no reason to go unnoticed by the class.
She wanders the room with her eyes, traveling over all of the glass jars and tubes. The potion ingredients, the containers holding strange- but equally cool- objects.
She takes out the books and supplies she needs for the class and sets them on her desk.
Opening up her book, she skims through the pages of the first chapter. She realizes that she didn't process a word of what she was reading. Like it went straight through her brain.
Scoffing, she thinks to herself, Do I really have that short of an attention span?
Sighing, she closes the book and sets it back down on the table.
Twisting her robes in her fingers, which seems to be a new habit of hers, she sits cross-legged in the seat. And wait for class to begin.

Potions Class
Adriel nearly bounced into the room. This class, potions, was her class. She had struggled thus far to find a place to belong, but with her long history in potions, she hoped that she'd finally gain some ground in the fight against isolation.
She wasn't first or last into the classroom. She had taken her time on the walk through the dungeons, marveling at what pirates and crusaders may've been held captive here secretly in the First and Second Wizarding Wars.
She bounded to the middle of the classroom towards an open stool, nearly knocking the rickety thing down with her kinetic energy as she landed upon it, next to a redheaded girl much shorter than herself.
As much as her attention was completely taken by the excitement for the class, she supposed she could introduce herself to the girl next to her that was fiddling with her yellow and black robes.
"Do you- are you- do you like potions?" she said rather quickly to the girl. No, introductions like this were never her strong suit. She wasn't nervous, of course, just rather terrible at real, mundane conversations.

Justin walked into the classroom. He wasn't first, nor last which was fine with him. He walked over to a desk in the back left corner.
The gryfindor combed his hand through his ebony colored hair. His light blue-ish grey eyes scanning everything in the classroom. His mother once told him that his eyes were his greatest weapon. Since he could give a glare that looked like he was stabbing your soul. He didn't believe her at first but now he does and tries not to be intemidating at first.
Justin pulls his potion book out of his satchel and sets it in the desk. He flips idly through the book getting it to the correct page for the lesson. Potions weren't his forte but he wasn't entirely bad at them either.
Justin noticed the other two girls in the classroom. They seemed to be talking so he just minded his own business and got out his quill and parchment.
Justin didn't like to take notes, but he found they helped if he did take them. Since he could study them and not feel like he forgot everything from the lesson that they had taken. Which was pretty often so he always took notes.

Frost had zoned out while waiting. She had been brought back by a quick voice coming from the girl who had taken a seat by her.
She was shocked that she didn't notice the girl sitting next to her. Her senses were usually sharp.
She decides to respond, even though she didn't state her name, Frost would.
"Oh hello! I didn't see you there. Yes, I like potions. I'm not the best at them though. I'm Frost, nice to meet you!"
The Hufflepuff smiled and waited for a reply from the girl. Hopefully, she would catch her name.
She caught movement in the corner of her eye and turned her head to the side. A dark-haired boy had sat in the seat behind her. His blue-grey eyes complimented his look. He seemed into his notes.
Maybe she should talk to him? Or would that be disturbing his work?
Frost decides to take the risk and talk to him. She wasn't usually the one to decline an opportunity to meet people. After all, what good would it bring her to be shy?
She flips around in her chair to face the dark-haired Gryffindor boy.
"Hi, there! I'm Frost Cira! I couldn't help but talk to you. You seemed into your notes. I didn't want to disturb you. You just seem like you're bored."
She glances at her desk neighbor. Maybe this could be a three-way conversation? In best case scenario, Frost would end up with two new friends. Why not try?

The happiness in the girl's reply eased Adriel visibly. Her shoulders eased up, and she mirrored the smile.
"I'm Adriel Lovage! I suppose if you ever need help in potions, I can happily help you," she responded joyously. Yes, a chance to share her skill in potions was certainly a way to bond with another student, wasn't it? However, she hoped the girl, Frost, wouldn't think she was bragging. She hadn't meant to brag, but, she had little time to dwell on the matter as she watched Frost turn to another student and drag him into the conversation. She, too, turned to the boy and was happy to see another Gryffindor, though she had not met the boy yet.
Adriel caught Frost's eyes for a moment as the Hufflepuff girl turned to her, and she joined the conversation between the two others.
"I'm Adriel Lovage. Would you like to come sit with us?" she asked with a welcoming smile, kicking her gangly legs carelessly above the dungeon floor. She hoped he would oblige, even if it was just to get the two of them to quit yelling at him from across the room. She was always happy to make new friends, especially ones in her house.

Of course, as soon as things were going well in potions class, the wolf herself showed up with her own supplies in a hurridly fashion. She hoped she wasn't late and luckily, the class had just started up when she entered the room. With a breath of relief, the very out of place green haired girl took her seat a few rows away from the girls and a boy.
Oh would you look at that? Here some students actually talking to each other and you're still sitting here acting like some sort of Emo Scowling at her train of thought, she loosened her tie up and pulled out the book hoping to distract herself and read up on the potions she was supposed to be making. She had to remember to keep calm and not show her temper or that could mean lower grades, something she sure as hell did not want in a million years.
Sure, maybe she wanted friends but...with....with her 'condition' it was hard. Her rough behavior and temper made it extremely difficult to get along with people when most of the time she found herself wanting to be better than them or being annoyed at simple things like talking.
Come on Wolverina, show em, that you can as easily make friends as you can enemies, just don't lose your temper whatever you do
"I see I'm not the only Gryffindor in here Okay that was good, maybe. She just had to keep this up, see where it goes.
"The names Wolverina, though call me Wolf" She continued to speak looking away and tapping the wooden surface of the desk, this was the first time in a long time she spoke to someone without wanting to punch their face.

Justin looked over at the two girls and frowned. Why were they yelling at him? He didn't have a clue. It would have been normal if they spoke normally. He had good hearing. Justin sighed and looked at his notes. "I don't exactly want to move, but if it means you guys will stop yelling." He looked at wolf. Was there a smile? Yes but only there for the briefest moment. "My sister would love your hair. She is slytherin and has blue hair. Nice name wolf. I'm Justin." He studied her trying to figure some things out. He rolled his eyes and put his stuff back in his bag and stood up. He walked over to a desk behind both of them and sat down. He wasn't the talkative type, but he sat down and put his stuff in the desk. "I'm Justin Stone." He said dryly.
Frowning he got his notes back out and began to write in very neat hand writing. He always made sure his hand writing was neat. So he could read it.
Justin's sister had neat hand writing also, but he didn't think hers was as neat as his.
Justin looked at Frost. "Yes you did interrupt my notes, but that isn't the most important thing right now." He said a bit dryly, but that was nice in his books. He continued writing his notes wanting to get as much information as he possibly could on this subject.

I peered across the classroom and spotted two girls sitting togethere and chatting. They seemed nice, and they were both Hufflepuff's. 'Why not give it a shot? Nothing to loose...' I thought to myself.
I strode over to the two girls, my black cloak billowing behind me and my chest puffed out... In the blink of an eye, I was plopped down next to the two girls.
"Hello!" I smiled and turned to the red-head, "My name is Kaylee. Kaylee Lovegood. I assume you two are Hufflepuffs?"
The brown haired one smiled and offered me her hand... "Nice to meet you Kaylee, my name is Frost, and that's Adriel," She pointed to the redhead next to her, "We are both Hufflepuff's, yes."
I shook Frost's hand and gently waved to Adriel. She smiled and waved back. "So, backstories?" I asked politely.
"I'm from Waverly," Frost grinned. "It's a hidden town in London."
"Oh!" I exclaimed, "I know where Waverly is! I lived in the next town over. Waverly is very pretty."
"And I'm from Hogsmeade!" Adriel squeaked.
"Hogsmeade?? Really?? I LOVE Hogsmeade. My parents used to take me there ALL the time when I was maybe 4 or 5!"
"Oh! I've been there too Kaylee! What's that candy store called --"
"Honeydukes!!!" Frost and I yelled at the same exact time. I knew we were going to be GREAT friends.
The three of us burst into laughter just as the professor stormed through the huge wooden doors in the back of the classroom. He had greasy black hair and his cloak was huge! The man also had a long pointed nose that hooked at the end. I knew not to mess with him the minute I saw him. Who was he??????

Wolf looked at Justin just as he smiled and tilted her head, that was different, no one had ever smiled at her if anything she was more intimidating for a 12-year-old. So that was a little nice at least, though the loudness of the two girls was getting to her, it was annoying. Anything loud was annoying.
Sighing she slumped down and felt her head and back start to ache, like it was one fire, groaning she hid in her books so that they wouldn't notice and focused on her classes. Writing down her notes while the others talked.
"Ah ya think she would? This hair is all natural as it is odd" Wolf shrugged and took down her notes while making sure she had the ingredients down to make it. She didn't know why, but loud noises seem to be her set off for her disorder. Since Justin was silent and didn't do much talking she felt no hostility towards him, towards the other two, however, were different. She felt the same type of vibe she did with her siblings, anger. Trying to hold it back she glanced over at his notes and noticed that he had missed something, looking to her book she went through the pages and pointed to it.
Slowly and steadily, she came over and sat next to him before plopping down her book next to his notes and pointing to it, all while looking away from him. "You uh....you missed this" With that, the girl went back to her writing and was about to calm down.
Oh, that calm didn't last long since another girl came in and completely destroyed any calm in the room, she was starting to pant quietly and felt the burning need to start a fight but didn't.

Justin looked at her. The hair was natural? His sister would love that. He looked at her. The loudness of the other girls seemed to bother her. Did he see a hint of anger? This might not be good. She might have anger flashes.
Justin nodded and wrote down what he missed. He got up and handed her, her book back. That was nice he didn't think he had missed anything until she showed him that he really did. Justin frowned at the other girls and spoke in a calm but demanding voice, not too loud but loud enough for the to hear him. "Quiet down. You are very loud and I'm having a hard time concentrating." He looked to wolf and nodded hoping that helped.
He looked through his satchel. He knew their was a pair of brand new earplugs in there somewhere. He found them and got up walking over to Wolf's desk and laid the container still sealed on her desk. Without a word he walked back to his seat, grabbed his things and moved back to his seat in the back corner away from everyone. He liked it there. He could be alone with his notes.
