And Then It Went SPLASH
Anastasia felt two hands push on her back and shoulders firmly. She took a step forward to balance herself. She's instantly regretted it! Since she was standing on the edge of the lake there was really nothing to step onto except into the ivy water below.
She turned frantically and grasped onto anything that she could. Her hands clutched on the person behind her. Leola! she thought.
Anastasia felt herself pulling Leola with her as she fell backward into the lake. Icy coldness covered her whole body as they sunk under the surface of the lake together . The weight of Leola on top of her weight her down deeper into the depths of the lake. It felt like her lungs were going to explode out of her chest.
Anastasia emerged from the surface of the lake, panting and gasping for air. She gave Leola who was panting beside a sour look and then burst into uncontrollable
laughter. They were gonna get in some much trouble from whoever caught them.
She floated on her back, gliding across the top of the lake. It was so peaceful! Swimming in the lake felt so magical and this was something g she's had never felt before.

Leola placed two hands on Anastasia's back and pushed. Anastasia spun around "Leola" She gasped as she grabbed onto Leola and pulled her into the freezing cold water along with her friend. Her plan had backfired big time she wasn't supposed to be in the water as well but it was definitely going to be something to laugh about int he future and the look on Anastasia's face was priceless .
She could feel Anastasia struggling to get to the surface for air as Leola had fallen on top of her she moved her body off of Anastasia and they swam to the surface together gasping for air. Anastasia shot her a dirty look then they both burst out laughing oh they were going to get into so much trouble for this but she really didn't care anymore she was having to much fun to care the water was really quite nice now that she had gotten past the shock of realising how cold it was and just wanted to glide around the surface like the giant squid and again her mind wandered back to being a mermaid and she started diving in and out of the water pretending to be one.

Anastasia watched Leola laughing so hard her stomach hurt for Leola was flailing her arms and legs about the water trying to be a mermaid. She looks so ridiculous. Anastasia suddenly heard gigles from up on the bank and remebered her other two friends that were sitting on the bank still.
Anastasia thought, If Leola and myself are in here then they should be too, swimming across to the side of the lake, she pulled herself up so that she could see over the side of the moss wall. "Hey, Isabella, Arebella, why don't you guys come in here with us, it's really nice," she beconed, when they didn't come in she said, "Your loss," and she doved under the water towards Leola.
Anastasia could hold her breath for minutes at a time so she decieded to take advantage of that. She dove down under the water about 3 metres down, making sure that Leola didn't see her. Anastasia spotted her legs kicking about under the water. Lining herself up, Anastasia kicked so hard that she thought when she reached the top she could probably fly off. She reached up and wrapped her arms around Leola's ankles and yanked them down. While she went down, Anastasia went up, back to the surface.
Anastasia looked down and saw Leola with a huge grin on her face looking up back at her.

As Leola was diving in and out of the water she felt something wrap around her ankle and drag her under the water her first thought was that the Grindylows that live in the lake were attacking her but as she looked up she saw Anastasia smiling down at her and a grin spread across her face as well as a rushing relief that it wasn't Grindylows trying to kill her but her friend trying to scare her and she had succeeded.
When she reached the surface she found Anastasia in fits of giggles struggling to keep herself afloat at the same time. Leola splashed Anastasia then looked up at the bank and found her other two friends laughing at them as well. "What are you two laughing at you should be in her as well. It really is quite nice and we won't get trouble unless we get caught. That is of course if your not chicken and willing to take the risk" She said with a sly smile she was gonna get them in the water one or the other even if she had to push them or drag them in like she did to Anastasia .

And Then It Went SPLASH
Isabella sat on the side, smiling at what was happening. She watched as Anastasia and Leola pigged out on food.
'God those girls like she eat.' She thought with a smile. She was picking on a few slices of apple when she saw Leola turn around and push Anastasia straight into the lake, with Anastasia turning around and grabbing onto Leola pulling her in as well. She stood up to see if they were ok and started laughing at their faces. Both looked shocked and amused by what had just happened. She clutched her stomach, which was hurting from laughing so much.
She laughed even harder when she saw Leola disappear under the water. She wiped away the tears of joy that had been falling down her cheeks.
"What are you two laughing at you should be in her as well. It really is quite nice and we won't get trouble unless we get caught. That is of course if your not chicken and willing to take the risk" She smiled at Leola.
"Is that a challenge?" She replied holding her head up high. She knew Leola was going to get them in, one way or another. She shook her head and slipped her shoes off. She ran forward, into the lake. It was amazingly refreshing. She swam up to the other two and splashed them.

And Then It Went SPLASH
Leola laughed as she watched Isabella run and jump into the lake splashing her and Anastasia. Isabella swam over to were she was and splashed her again. "We could get in so much trouble" Isabella said "Yea well only if we get caught, hopefully we don't cause if we do were screwed but then again you only live once so why not take a little risk now and then" She said with a big grin. Leola was never one to turn down a risk and the problem with her was that trouble always seemed to find her.
Leola dived back under the water trying to swim as far as she could underwater then popping back up to the surface again. She was having so much fun. She had wanted to swim in the lake ever since she had arrived because it looked so nice and refreshing but she had never imagined herself actually swimming in it because she new it was against school rules, but here she was casually swimming beside the giant squid with two of her friends like it was nothing. She dived under again but this time pulling Isabella down under the water with her like Anastasia had done to her.
