Hufflepuff vs Ravenclaw: Match 4
Interacting with @Callie Jensen, @Frost Cira, @Atlas Rey, and @Alan Vanes
Robert was filled with an inward satisfaction as his classmate fell to the ground unconscious, before being overcome by guilt by this initial reaction. It wasn't often that he survived long enough to actually see the same fate happen to one of his opponents, and his odd lack of empathy always surprised him. However, as harsh as it may sound, everyone going into this sport knew the risks they were taking, and it didn't seem as if Atlas had been doing him any favors he might have been socially obligated to reciprocate.
In all logical senses, there was absolutely no reason for him to feel anything other than pleasure from the crumpled body across the piste. And indeed, the body itself brought no negative feelings to surface. However, the inward struggle still continued. Robert mutely returned Callie's high five, with neither excess enthusiasm nor limpness. His face showed no signs of the inward battle as he returned to face Frost, settling back into his dueling stance.

The duel would move on and continue. Frost was back and she seemed more focused than ever within the whole duel. She summoned a wind jinx powerful enough to leave her wand in two jets. The first one would go for Callie, who was able to evade it with ease. Robert however was not so lucky, the jet that went for him would split once more and while originally going for his partner, both of the jets would crash into him, pressing the air out of his lungs and possibly leaving some heavy bruising. While trying to retaliate Robert actually would miss the badger with his dancing feet spell, possibly too distracted by the air and the pain to do something. Callie however managed to avenge her team mate with the very same spell, unleashing a wind jinx towards Frost, that would hit the Hufflepuff.

Hufflepuff vs Ravenclaw: Match 4
Frost had put all her focus into producing a spell that was much grander than a normally cast one. The split winds rippled from her wand, leaving her impressed with herself. Soon enough though, another gust of wind had hit her instead, the harsh winds battering her body. She had never seen so many mini-tornadoes occupy a dueling stage before. At least she had hit one opponent, right?
What the girl lacked in strength and intelligence, she did partially make up for in casting power. Or at least that was the case in her minds eye. Frost let out a deep breath she had been holding and tucked in a strand of wind-tousled hair behind her ear, attempting to ready herself for more to come.

Robert was honestly impressed by the fifth year. Splitting a spell in two was a hard acheivement by itself, and Robert had never even heard of the same spell splitting twice. "Frost, that was awesome!" he exclaimed excitedly. Of course, it would have been nice had two of those jets not knocked the wind out of him hehe, but the young boy loved this sport too much to ignore a feat such as this for the sole reason that it was to his detriment. "Glad you decided to join the fun," the Ravenclaw added with a teasing grin.

Hufflepuff vs Ravenclaw: Match 4
Callie always loved watching spells split into two. It was something that provided both excitement and spectacle, something which Callie valued deeply. Besides it looked cool at the end of the day and that’s all that mattered to a young teen. Well, that and the stash of sweets she’d saved for after the duel. There was few things the Ravenclaw appreciated more than copious amounts of sugar.

The game would finally pick up and become more eventful, which meant that Alan was getting rather curious about all of this. Would Frost actually be able to turn this around somehow? A powerful full body bind curse would take hold of Robert, just as he cast a knockback jinx that missed its target. The boys muscles would clamp up as he fell to the ground, as unmoving as a board. Callie would not just let that go unpunished, so she conjured up a blindfold that wrapped tightly around Frost's head. Now there was one person who could not move or attack and another one who couldn't make use of her sight at all, which gave Alan flashbacks of his stage one duel. The floor was all Callie's or so it seemed.

Hufflepuff vs Ravenclaw: Match 4
A smile grew on Frost’a face. She admired that Robert would commend an opponent, a small “Ah, thank you!” would pipe from the girl. Though she wouldn’t admit, it felt good for once having someone besides herself praise something she did.
And even though she cast a rather powerful petrifying spell on Robert, Frost had felt a bubble of guilt for the poor boy. She felt the need to keep impressing the younger Ravenclaws. As soon as she looked back after dodging the knock back jinx, everything went dark and something tightened itself around her head. A blindfold, how clever. This was by far more interesting than her past duels.

Now THAT wasn’t a spell Callie was keen to experience anytime soon, poor Robert. Reading about the spell was enough to incite some degree of fear but seeing it in action? It brought on a new level of fear mixed with excitement.
But Callie knew she couldn’t get herself all wrapped up in thoughts and theories anytime soon. There was a duel going on, she had to stay focused! Even if that was often very difficult for someone like Callie.

Robert was coming to reach the conclusion that in many ways, effect spells are much worse than purely damage spells like flipendo. There was something about being unable to see or cast that gnawed at something deep inside him, something that could not fathom being helpless in any way. Of all these spells, the body bind curse might be the worst. Knowledge and control were two of the most important things to the young boy. In this case, he could know what is going on because he could see it, but he was unable to exert any type of control over the situation.
Of course, even while boiling over with frustration, he still attempted to let out a muffled "Ymm wlkmmm!" you're welcome in response to Frost's gratitude.

Frost would remove her blindfold quickly, seizing the chance in which half of her opponents were occupied already. While Robert tried to free himself from the paralyzing bounds that seemed to have a hold on him, he could feel his muscles ache and burn, as his efforts were in vain. Callie who in itself was thinking smartly in trying to prolong the blindfolding effect, a Ravenclaw technique the prefect was all too familiar with, would let something distract her. Her spell was aimed at a weird angle and instead of going for Frost was heading towards Callie's petrified teammate. Alan couldn't have that, knowing the spell to be harmless however, Alan reacted a little too quickly as he watched the blindfold fly toward its target. "Tiger catch!" he commanded as he pointed toward the strip of cloth flying through the air. Eyes narrowing on its target, the feline jumped out of Alan's arms onto the piste before taking another leap towards the blindfold, catching it in his maw. "Good boy," the Gryffindor cheered as he beckoned the feline back to his side. Tiger, being proud of masterfully catching his prey was heading back chin raised high, with the blindfold weirdly entangling his face. As he returned, Alan picked him up and swiftly loosened the blindfold but otherwise letting the feline play with the cloth some more. The duel could go on like this, even if it had been a little more eventful this round.
