BlossomFest Great Maze - Goatseekers PV

As are team entered the maze we were all exited. We were all astonished by the walls that stood before us and what grave danger we might be in. But anyways we were chatting about were to go and how to find the goat in the maze. "So we've got are information on the paths East, Northwest and West." They nodded in agreement we had already mapped out what places they would go and try to see if they found the goat. 

"Ava has said that we should go East but the rest off said Northwest because its both North and West. If Ava wasn't just a good friend we would have been screwed. "Alright people we are going to catch that goat and then try to get out of this maze it's giving me the hibbi jibbis just looking at it." Jake thought of were would the goat hide and actually stay there or be roaming around. "Alright wands out people if somebody tries to get us we have to defend ourselves."

Action: Venturing down Northwest path.

Ava walked onto the grounds with her team. Well, it as hard to call them a team - they technically were, but the girl only knew their names. She never met them before - the grounds, the Slytherin common room (at least for the two Slytherin boys she was with), the corridors, the library - anywhere. But she wanted to participate, they wanted to as well so they formed a team. 

The team - 'Goatseekers' - entered the maze. The hedges towered above their heads. No signs of a goat. That reminded the girl of two things - a. why their team name was so... questionable? and b. what the challenge was. "I say we go east," she said facing the other team. Why? She just... liked the direction? At least somewhat. Most people would usually go North, but the paths were East, West, and Northwest, so why not East? The rest disagreed. "Ok, I guess," she shrugged and pulled a map out of her bag. "Alright, wands out, people, if somebody tries to get us, we have to defend ourselves," one of the boys - a Slytherin - said. She nodded, hid the piece of parchment, and took out her wand. "We won't need that... Not for now. Probably. Lumos," she mumbled to explain herself and lighting her wand instead. 

[Action: Go Northwest along with the team.]

It seems that from the day he received his invitation letter, Archer's life has been a constant flux of excitement and worry. This time, as evident from the wide grin on the Hufflepuff's face, excitement was winning out. Archer enjoyed mazes before his life as a budding wizard. How much more fun would it be when magic is added to the mix? Fortunately for him, a Slytherin student had seen him wandering around looking for a team, and invited Archer. The other three members were unfamiliar faces from the Slytherin house, Jason, Ava, and Jake and that made him a bit nervous. However, it was not enough to dampen the prospect of the maze.

Entering the maze, they were faced with the decision to go in three directions. Conventional wisdom in mazes was to choose one direction and keep turning that way until you find the exit. However, that method would make a slow travel through the maze, and they want to find that goat quick! Also, this is probably some kind of magic maze anyways. I doubt it would follow conventional wisdom! He thought, thinking of the moving staircases and corridors. 

"Northwest! It's gotta be northwest. It's both north and west. It's 2 for 1!" Archer said irresponsibly. 

Jake would feel Jason grab his robes from behind as the fellow Slytherin watched the hedges nervously. It was like he was expecting something to jump out from the grassy walls and try to kill them. Like devils snare. The idea seems incredibly farfetched if one took time to think about it for more than a few seconds. Jason surely didn't though.

The tall hedges covering their view gave him a claustrophobic feeling. He was even starting to trapped in the maze despite them just starting. This is why he kept holding on to Jake's robes as the group walked forward in the Northwestern direction. It was very possible that his clinginess might start to annoy his fellow Slytherin, but he can't help it.

He was scared of getting lost the second he released his grip on the robes. He could even imagine it in his head. Him losing the group with no way of knowing which way to go. Nothing but green walls on all sides. The idea of this caused him to shiver in fear.

One step after another, your team is heading northwest in the maze. Taking in the green hedges and breezy wind, the hedges seem to begin to bloom more and more with flowers and buds. The hedges become prettier the further you venture towards the northwest path of the maze. Strange. Perhaps it is the right way to go as increased growth is happening towards the direction. As you walk further and further down the path, you realize that not only are there more flowers, but there are many more bumblebees. Luckily, they were cast not to attack and only be idle among their flowers. You keep going, past the bumblebees and towards what finally seemed like a dead end of the maze. Oh no! Your team turns around and you now walk past the flowers and bumblebees and decide on a new path.

You must choose East or West from the entrance now. Teams cannot split up.

Jake was pretty sure they were moving the right direction if they weren't then we have to blame it on "Jason right"? Well he wasn't gonna let his team down they still needed to get that goat and win the maze game. The only thing he didn't want is for his friends to be in danger of some creatures or a "actually person." 

He looked at all the corners and all the other things that were around the maze he saw that there were flowers and other things. He had his wand in his hand and was ready to use it for defensive attack or a offensive attack. "Hey from here we can go East or West." Jason threw his hand out and whispered East and Jake wanted to go East as well. He knew Archer would probably want to go the same way but Ava was a little tricky to convince.

He looked back at the road ahead of them he didn't even hear a goat. Was this a trick or just a prank by the professors just to scare the students. Would this be a punishment for Detentions or any other things people might have done. He wanted to know but he didn't have any proof at all.

ACTION: Ask mates to go "East".

As your team takes the path to the East, you become more and more engulfed by the maze. The hedges grow taller, taller than you are, and the light seems to fade slightly as the sun passes over top of your heads. The further in you go, the more you wonder when you will be getting out, even though it had only just begun. The ground was beginning to turn from beautifully taken care of grass to rough dirt and stones that scattered randomly across the ground. Not the best to walk on but still tolerable. Halfway to the next fork in the maze, an animal darts out in front of your group from underneath the hedge to your right, causing a slight panic. It was black and white to the eye and about knee-height, but not much else could be told about the appearance, or the type of animal it could have been. Perhaps it was an animal that escaped Professor Lear’s classroom, or maybe it was an animal straying away from the Forbidden Forest, trying to find its way out of the maze itself? You won’t find out. Soon enough, you come to the next turning point, giving you three options to choose from.

Choose between North, South or turning back. Remember that teams can not split up.
