Interacting with @Vivian Nightshade
Mentioning: @Cassandra Ironwoods
There aren't many people with the power to break Samantha's heart. Most students didn't have any interest in hurting the young girl, since she was pretty friendly. About those who did try to hurt her the brunette didn't care. She knew a few people who didn't like her the slightest, but she would never listen to their hurtful words. One of the students who did try to hurt her was Cassandra Ironwoods, but Samantha didn't care about their opinion. They didn't know what they were talking about, since they were the biggest idiot on the planet. At least that was what she tried to tell herself. Sometimes when Cash called her a mudblood it did hurt her feelings.

But the way she felt when Cash called her a mudblood was nothing in comparison with what she felt when Vivian ignored her. Since school started after the winter break, Samantha had barely seen her best friend. Before the break, they would spend a lot of time together. They would sit next to each other in almost every class they had together, lunch together, talk about everything, or just hang out. Since the first time they had met, they had been friends.

Samantha could not imagine a world without her best friend, but that was exactly what she was living in now. During the winter break, she had sent her friend not one, not two, but three letters, and on not one of them she had gotten a reply. At first, she hadn't thought a lot about it, since it didn't seem like a big deal, but after her second letter, she began to worry. Her mom had told her Vivian was probably busy having fun, so after her third letter Samantha stopped writing her best friend.

She had been disappointed when she didn't see Vivian on the train back to Hogwarts and she had been extremely sad when she noticed her friend was purposely avoiding her. Samantha had even chased Vivian down the halls when she saw her friend a few days ago, but she had lost the girl before she could talk to her. In one of the classes the girls shared, Vivian had even ignored Samantha calling her name and the blonde had sat down far away from Samantha. The young girl was devastated and had even cried herself to sleep that day.

She had no idea what was going on with Vivian, because her friend hadn't spoken to her since the day they left school before the break. Samantha was sure she hadn't done anything wrong. She had written nice letters in which she talked about the things she did with her family and that her parents had even gotten Vivian a present. She hadn't said anything mean or rude in the letters. Samantha had even told Vivian to say hi to her mom from her and wish her a merry Christmas.

The brunette needed a distraction from this horrible feeling and there was no better way to escape reality than to read an amazing book. Samantha made her way to the library to find a couple of new books she could read. After walking around the library searching for the perfect books to read, she spotted the familiar blond hair from her friend. A big smile appeared on Samantha's face. "Vivian!" she called out as she ran towards her friend.

@Samantha Salwis
Mentions- Aldor Humbleglow
The most perilous spot in the whole castle would be the library. The place where the bookworms wriggle many a time. Especially the worms under the name of Samantha Salwis and Aldor Humbleglow. Lately, Sam had been hunting down for her wherever possible and the blonde escaped all this time successfully. The girl's eyes glanced around every now and then to assure herself that none of the both were around and was quite certain they'd disregard the library if in case they're in search of her. They know- knew her and she knows them. After all, she wasn't here without protection, she had her pitch black neck gaiter on. So why worry about them?

Her hand outstretched to reach for a random book from the bookshelf. The girl wasn't picky with choosing one and she never enjoyed them prior to this month. A wistful smile spread across her face unconsciously as her fingers airily ruffled through the pages. Taking her neck gaiter off from her face, she drew the book closer to her. The smell of it reminded her of her mum. Closing her eyes, she leaned against the side of the shelf. All she could think of is her mum. Her brown eyes that glow brighter against the sunlight. Her smile and her words that could erase her worries from her mind. The girl didn't cherish it all when she had it. She kept complaining but now she's desperate for the warmth she had known. That would never return back. Her heart sank at the thought. Her face paled and turned icy.

Love and affection is all fantasy, just temporary. Someday, it breaks the heart and it keeps hurting constantly. No one can get rid of it, just could pretend to forget for a while. And that's why it's harrowing. That's why she's striving to abstain from loving anyone and anything anymore. Her eyes wandered at the letters on the book, unable to take anything in. Suddenly a voice, a familiar one called out her name. The young girl jerked her face towards her friend's- ex friend's directions. Danger! Horror struck "no no no no" she muttered to herself as she kept shaking her head. Shivers run down her spine as the Hufflepuff was caught off guard which made her stumble but still she managed to run away from Samantha.

Premission to slightly godmod Vivian giving by the writer
@Vivian Nightshade
She had been so close, Samantha had almost been able to hug her friend. If only the blond had stayed there a little longer, she would have been able to wrap her arms around her best friend and tell her how much she missed her. If only Vivian had stood still for a second longer, the brunette would have gotten the hug she so longed for. But no, Vivian had to move. She ran away from Samantha, breaking her heart even more. Why did her friend do this to her? Why? The duelist could feel the pain raising as her friend ran away. "Vivian?" she repeated the name, this time hesitant. The confusion and pain Samantha felt were clearing hearable in her shaky voice. "Vivian?" she said again as she rushed after her friend.

Her little legs tried to keep up, as her eyes followed the streak of blond hair as the distance between the girls grew. When Vivian disappeared behind some of the many bookshelves, Samantha stopped running. Her already broken heart shattered even more when her friend had disappeared from her view. Why was Vivian running away from her? She was devastated, what was she supposed to do? Motionless Samantha stood there, as her eyes slowly filled themselves with tears. "No," she told herself harshly. This wasn't the time to cry and most defiantly not the place. She needed to move, she needed to find her friend, she needed to talk with Vivian.

The young girl slowly moved in the direction she had last seen her friend, determined to find the other girl. Whatever the reason her friend was avoiding her couldn't be important enough, Samantha was sure of it. There was no way that there was a reason that could justify ignoring your best friend, running away from them, and breaking their heart.

She would talk some sense into Vivian, there was no running from it. The young duellist got her wand out of her bag, ready to use magic if her friend tried to run away again. As quiet as a mouse, Samantha walked through the library, looking for her friend. The brunette scanned the library and spotted the familiar blond hair belonging to the Hufflepuff she was hunting down.

It was but a whisper, almost impossible to hear. "Immobulus," the incantation left the young girl's lip as she aimed her wand at Vivian through the bookshelves she his behind. Samantha had cast the freezing charm on her friend, even though the teacher had told the class not to use this spell on friends. She had used it as a last resort, the endless running after her friend wasn't going to work. The spell stopped the movement and actions from the target, in this case being Vivian.

The brunette hurried from her hiding place to her friend, who was now frozen. Samantha knew it was wrong to freeze her friend like this, but it was the only thing she could think of to do. The young girl ran towards her friend, with a worried face. "I am so sorry about the spell," she told her frozen friend as she wrapped her arms around the girl, finally getting the hug she wanted. "But I had no choice!" Tears formed in her eyes as she let go of her friend and took a step back.

She aggressively blinked away her tears. "You idiot!" She gave her friend an angry look. "Why are you running from me? Do I mean nothing to you? I send you thousand letters over during the break." In reality it just had been three, but that was beside the point. "And not one reply, no, of course not, why would you let your best friend know how you are doing. You didn't even say: hi, stop writing me. NO, NOTHING!" The tears that were forming in her eyes rolled down her chubby cheeks. "You could have been dead and I wouldn't have known!" Her voice was filled with anger.

Samantha decided to keep her friend frozen just a little longer, it seemed to be the only way she listened. "And in class, in class- I-" her voice broke, "I waved at you, I called your name and still," her tone changed again, her voice was now filled with anger, "STILL, you ignored me and sat down at the other end of the classroom. Explain yourself!" she demanded before she canceled the charm that kept her friend frozen.
