Family Updates

Logan,
Dad really wants us to meet Elizabeth. He told us that she was really nice and really wanted to meet us. What do we do? Rorik and I do not want to meet her without you. Dad has not really talked much about what happened over the summer since then. We think he is trying to avoid the whole thing in the first place. I do not really want to meet her, she is a muggle and can't really be ourselves around her.

Is dad trying to replace mom? He doesn't really talk about her anymore and it scares me. Alexander won't really say anything about it, I think he is too afraid of saying anything, but I know. You are coming home this summer right? I don't want you to run away from us because of something that dad did.
Alexander and I are really excited about getting out Hogwarts letters in a month. At least we will get to spend next year with you at Hogwarts. Dad will probably get lonely but he has perfect Elizabeth he can spend time with.

Dear Alexander,
I am sorry with how long it has taken for me to respond to you and Rorik. Dueling has started again recently and I rejoined the Hufflepuff team. I feel that you should do what you think is best. If you do not want to meet her until I am there with you, then tell father that you want to wait. In the end it is your choice though, do not be forces to do something you do not want to do.
Remember that even if she is a muggle, that does not mean she is a bad person. This just means that we are going to have to learn to be careful and mindful of what we are doing. Nothing is going to change who you are and you do not need to hide who you are just because she is a little different than us.

Dear Rorik,
I am sorry with how long it has taken for me to respond to you and Rorik. Dueling has started again recently and I rejoined the Hufflepuff team. Father is not trying to replace mother. Mother is always going to be our mother and if he decides he wants to be with someone else, that is fine. No matter what, we will always know that Olivia Baird was our mother.
Make sure that you are there is Alexander needs to talk, I do not want you two pulling away from each other because one of you wants to hide your feelings. I will make sure I am home this summer to be with you. I talked to Henry and he said we could visit if we would like, so if we need to leave for a little bit we would be able to.
Henry said good luck with your letters, he is excited about you guys attending Hogwarts as well.
