Cecily wandered the corridors. It was something she had taken to doing quite often during her time here at Hogwarts. No two halls were ever the same. However, on this particular hall-wandering journey, she actually had a destination. She had just finished her book, and was taking the scenic route to the library when she heard a sigh coming from the trophy room. The Ravenclaw figured she really was in no rush, so she peeked her head through the doorway to see a vaguely Japanese-looking girl. Cecily had never seen her around before, though that wasn't surprising, considering how large the school was. The girl had a babyish face, but showed very little skin other than that. Cecily imagined that the girl had very low self-esteem, judging from the covered skin and unfortunate posture. She was admiring a trophy. Well, maybe admiring was too positive of a word. She seemed to be glaring helplessly at it, for some odd reason. Maybe it was something she wished she could be.

Cecily stepped fully into the room, now determined to find out what the girl had against this particular trophy.

"What did that trophy ever do to you?" she asked, gesturing towards said trophy. "From the way you're looking at it, you'd think you had bet your life savings on it and it fell through."

After exploring most of the castle already, Cassie was beginning to wonder if there was anywhere else she hadn’t been yet. This was, of course, a silly question as she was certain there were many hidden rooms and passageways and whatever else that she would surely come across in the years to come.
Planning to head on back to the Ravenclaw common room to maybe take a nap, Cassie turned back the way she had just come and took a left.

As she walked down the corridor, she noticed another door just off to the right that she had yet to go in.  She figured she was best taking a look at what it could be now as it was more than likely that she wouldn’t be able to find it again within the maze that was Hogwarts.

Quietly, she reached the open door and peered inside. The walls were lined with trophies and medals and cups and plaques and her dark eyes gazed over the sea of gold and silver curiously.
Cassie had never really been one for sports but her mother certainly had been and Cassie couldn’t help but wonder if that had been true during her school years too. Was her mothers name on one of these trophies? There was only one way to find out, so Cassie entered the room.

Oh! Sorry, I didn’t know there was people in here.” Cassie said, jumping as she caught sight of two other girls stood in the room. They were just behind where the door opened to, meaning she had failed to see them when she had peeked inside.

One of the girls Cassie recognised as Cecily Quinn – one of the quidditch players for Ravenclaw. Although Cassie had never spoken to her personally, she had heard of her what with them being from the same house and her being a quidditch player. The other girl Cassie was unable to place but and she figured she hadn’t come across her before in her short time here. She seemed a little shook up from the way she was shaking like a leaf.

Cassie began to back out the room, feeling she had interrupted something.“Sorry, I can go if the two of you are having a conversation? I was just going to check out some of the trophies.

Cecily took a shocked step back as the girl whipped her head around, clearly startled by the Ravenclaw's sudden appearance. The girl stated apologising and waving her hands.

Cecily was in no way a responsible or social person, but she quickly stepped forwards again, hands raised. "Whoa, whoa, slow down." She gave a nervous laugh.

“The trophy hasn’t done much. I mean, really no one has. It’s just me that can’t do anything properly,” the girl said, looking at Cecily. Cecily grimaced, empathetic. She couldn't directly relate-- she was either really good or really bad at most things she did, but she knew how if felt to aspire to be great, yet fall before you even reach new heights. Cecily was pondering this idea when the girl spoke again, eyes bright. “You’re in the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, aren’t you? I knew I’ve seen you from somewhere.”

Cecily smiled. "Yeah, that's me. Cecily Quinn. Are you a Quidditch player?" Cecily asked, desperately trying to hold a conversation that would calm this still-wobbly girl down.

Before the girl could answer, however, there was a noise from the doorway. A girl with a short, dark pixie cut poked her head into the room, and stepped inside before noticing the two girls already holding a conversation.

“Oh! Sorry, I didn’t know there was people in here," the girl said, startled-- though not nearly as spooked as the first girl Cecily had accidentally scared today. Cecily recognised the girl a bit-- she remembered seeing her in the Ravenclaw common room.

Cecily looked over as the girl began to excuse herself, having interrupted their conversation. "No, no, it's fine," Cecily said. "I don't mind, and I'm sure...hey, what is your name, anyway?" Cecily turned to the first girl in confusion. "You never mentioned it."

Young Katherine Black who wandered by the fascinating halls of Hogwarts accidentally stumbled across the trophy room. Her eyes widened as she walked into the room, Katherine had some free time left. Deeply, she wanted to study but at the same time, explore the amazing halls of Hogwarts. She saw two girls, looking at one particular trophy. Katherine saw a trophy of her cousin's and grinned. Her cousin's name was Elaine, Elaine was a kind girl who was popular and helpful. It's obvious that she was straight out Gryffindor. Katherine wondered why she had gotten this award. Katherine turned to the girls as she took her eyes off Elaine's trophy.
"Hello, I am Katherine Black!" Katherine said confidently. "Wait, I've seen you before. You're on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team." Katherine said to the rather short blonde girl as she examined the second girl closely, the girl had a babyface and chocolate brown hair. Katherine didn't recognize the girl at all, probably because the cluttered mess at Hogwarts made everyone hard to find.
"I haven't seen you before, what's your name?" Katherine attempted to shake hands with the girl but Katherine didn't quite accomplish the goal of hiding her curiosity to know the unknown girl.

Cecily looked around at the two other girls who had entered-- the one with the short, dark hair who had not introduced herself, but whom Cecily recognised as being a fellow Ravenclaw; and the other blonde-haired girl in the room, Katherine, who was also in Ravenclaw and had recognised Cecily as a part of the Quidditch team-- but had apparently not had an interest in making conversations. Cecily shrugged and turned back to the girl who had, stuttering, introduced herself as (Redacted). The girl was a Hufflepuff, and a first-year like Cecily.

"It's nice to meet you too, (Redacted). And I've seen you around before, Katherine...in the Ravenclaw common room, if I'm not wrong," Cecily said, speaking to both of the girls at once. The trio stood in an awkward silence for a moment, none of them knowing what to say. Cecily desperately racked her brain for some conversation material. She would never normally be one to willingly talk, but clearly neither of the other two girls were either. Finally, turning to face Katherine, Cecily said, "What were you doing in the trophy room, Katherine? We know that (Redacted) was in here feeling sorry for herself, but what about you?"
