Preoccupied PV Adlai

Though he was not at all pleased to see Adlai's normally bright and cheerful face filled with tears, he was glad that she accepted his offer, sweeping her into his arms and holding her there tightly. He came from a home of huggers, and even in Hogwarts he had perfectly the art through daily hugs with Willow and his other close friends. There was no hesitation in its tightness, glad that he could release some of his own misery at seeing her sadness as well.

When they departed the hug, she seemed happy with his advice, which was also satisfying. He'd be smiling, feeling better than he had in a long time. It reinforced something he already knew, that helping others was the best way to feel better about himself. Certainly Adlai would feel the same once her sister started accepting some of her advice. He wasn't there himself, so he didn't know what had pushed her sister over the edge, but he couldn't help but take Adlai's side. He assumed it was youthful pride, and wanting to stand on one's own feet, and that once she grew up a bit, she would see Adlai's words for what they were-- love. Then again, he wasn't exactly taking his own sister's advice at the moment, but that was different... certainly...

"It will be alright, I have time." Flash reassured, getting up and grabbing his things. "Even if I was going to be late, some things are more important."

He wouldn't busy her with any more placations, instead walking out with her for as long as their paths stayed together before needing to part.
