A Beautiful Day to Draw closed

It seemed like it was always a beautiful day outside. Was it something to do with the magic of the castle? Either it was a rainy day (which Shayna enjoyed) or that perfect, warm air with a gentle cooling breeze, like today, with occasional stronger gusts of wind.
Shayna was sitting out in a field between the castle and the Great Lake, with a perfect view of both. Thank goodness she remembered to pack all her art stuff!! (she doubted her family owl would be strong enough to carry any of it to Hogwarts). Holding her leather-covered sketchbook in her bag, she was sketching an image of the castle in drawing charcoal, and maybe if she could finish today she would start a drawing of the Great Lake and the dock by it.
Starting using a lightweight charcoal, she simply filled in the basic outline of the castle, and would soon start adding in details with the medium and hard charcoals. Having done this, she stood and held it up to the silhouette of the castle as the sun set. She had already had dinner, and had no classes on Saturdays. Admiring her work and allowing herself to feel good about the not quite perfect masterpiece, she started to pack up her charcoals in her denim bag with leather frills and beads.
Packing up, she prepared to go pack to the castle as she tore out her drawing and figured she would send it to her parents when all of a sudden a gust of wind ripped the drawing from her hands, carrying to towards the side of the lake.
Panic coursed through her as she prayed that her drawing didn't either tear or land in the lake.
Running after it and abandoning the rest of her belongings, she yelled "No no no no stop! Please come back!!" she cried after the inanimate object, forgetting there could be people around. As she ran, she noticed the outline of another girl sitting right by the lake, looking her direction, and realized that she had just yelled after a drawing.
"Sorry!" she called to the girl, slightly quieter. "Can you catch that? It's mine." she was close enough that she could see the girl was about her age, but not quite tell what house she was. Shayna's face was blushing bright red, knowing she had made a complete fool of herself.
