Focused by the acid burns, Lin did not pay much attention to the thorns that scratched her deeply. She was very unlucky on this one... The sting of the thorns made her remember why she was there. To win. And that's why the Ravenclaw managed to avoid the many branches.

Serena was not prepared for what was happening. It would be fun, they said. Getting flung half way across the world. Or at least a little faster than usual. Of course, they forgot that there would be many ridiculous obstacles in the way that required avoiding. Which was a lot harder to do when you were going full speed zoom ahead.

AHHHH. TOO FAST. TOO FAST. TOO FAST. Was all she could think as she flew in the sky. She spotted the bundimum and managed to swerve out of the way in time to avoid getting hit by whatever it was doing. Unfortunately, her speed was likely her downfall. Jack had thrown her, helping her to go faster but boy was he stronger than he looked. It was way too fast!

Unable to prevent herself from getting snared by the vines, she felt them close around her, "Dammit," She muttered to herself, annoyed as she struggled against them. There had to be something she could do... She did not know what, but there had to be something.

Outfit of the Day

Releasing the small goblin girl from his grasp, and Jack quickly followed Tower's trajectory that led her to be launched forward. Honestly, Jack thought it was a good throw, but apparently, it might have been too much for Serena. "Dammit!" Was all the boy managed to spout. Of course, there were other words he wanted to scream, but that would lead the boy directly to detention. If he had the chance to do it, he would get it right.

Winter knew that no matter what she had to get back in the game and so she looked around noticing she was getting closer little by little, she could see that same girl that hit her with a stone, clair. Winter furrowed her brows but chose not to make the same mistake again, and so instead of attacking she raced on, going full speed in hopes to surpass the ravenclaw and make it back with the rest of her team.

MODERATION ROUND 4

Winter was far behind, as was Jack and it appeared that the pair had more in mind than simply trying to catch up. The first year managed to grab hold of her housemate and threw him forward. Combined with his own speed, that would get him far. Further.
Unlike most of the others though, Jack had not yet made his way through the very murderous trees and past the even more murderous pest.

Perhaps more alert because of his increased speed, the young man avoided the trees as if he had never done anything else in his life, but the Bundimun caught him off guard.

Having made it through the trees and the bundimun more or less unharmed, he didn't get to take a breather. He would join Serena who was struggling to free herself from vines. Jack couldn't evade them either, but with the combined power of housemateship the two Hufflepuffs would break free again.

Together, the two Hufflepuffs raced on, too quick for the next murderous tree to react to the sudden movement. Simon who had successfully avoided the tree using the same strategy would tackle the next obstacle with them.
Although Winter's throw threatened to make Jack struggle with his aim, he managed to evade the thorns and didn't even kick himself off his broom. The spell on him finally wore off.

Simon bleeding and Serena still enjoying her freedom from the vines raced on and left Jack behind, rapidly approaching another group of trees. Many trees, standing close together. Like Jack before, Serena evaded the trees elegantly, but Simon, perhaps still distracted by the scratches from the thorns, brushed against one.

Simon raced on, towards a waterfall. Avery did the same. Both students braced themselves and successfully crashed through the wall of water.

Avery went through the narrow passageway and entered the cave behind it alone, but didn't quite manage to get through.

Lin didn't really understand what was going on. She was concentrating on not falling. She just wanted to sit in the common room with Eleven on her lap.
But she was outside, in the snow, with acid burns and thorn scratches. She was afraid her wounds would become infected, even if she was at Hogwarts. Precisely. She was at Hogwarts...

Emily was still very excited for the end of the raise since it was surely getting closer. But that did not calm her nerves, actually, it was only making it worse, what if she lost? Now, in the end, she was getting so close to winning. To make the Ravenclaw team proud. She decided to just take her head of it, focus on the game, and try to make the best out of it.
