Duelling Show-Down! Unnofficial FFA duel closed

Her eyes locking on Youssuf, the boy she disliked so much, she cast the first spell that came to her mind. Oh, how she would love to see that- that- boy dancing with himself. He thought he was perfect, but how about with dancing? Her voice was just able to be heard over the other spell casting, her movement was precise. Or at least she thought. She was confident for a hot second, too. However it seemed Youssuf had his eyes on her, too.

how... does one backfire on themself? She got hit by her own spell, she was dancing by herself. how weird did she look? She heard her name, Henry's voice. But it was too late, his warning was a second off. "Darn it!" She yelled, wincing at the sparks in her eyes. But she couldn't help but laugh. "Look at me! pffft!" Wait, no, I've got to be serious. spells went flying, and Juniper tried to blink her eyes so the flash from Youssuf's spell went away. She squinted her eyes and noticed her partner managed to hit someone, before a fog settled on her. She turned to see her cousin sent flying. "Cody, are you okay?" She asked.

It was hard to have dignity when she was dancing by herself. However, the show must go on. She locked eyes on a new target, crossing her fingers for luck. "Just a little woopsie, Sam, but we still got this!"

Now that it wasn't against the rules to cast a spell at Cash, Samantha would make good use of it. Her hate towards the snake had decided who her target was. She sent a well-aimed spell to the most annoying and stupid person in the room. When her blindfold covered the eyes of Cash, a big grin appeared on her face. Sadly the idiot couldn't see it. Samantha hoped that Cash knew she had cast the blindfolding spell that made them unable to see.

All her focus had been directed to her spell and she hadn't taken the time to focus on others and what they were doing. Samantha could see spells flying around, but was unsure who cast it or to whom it was aimed.

After her spell had left her wand, fog started to surround her. The young girl wasn't sure who had cast the spell only that the person was very annoying. As if the fog wasn't enough, a large cloud caused her to be able to see even less. The brunette rolled her eyes, even though almost nobody would be able to see it. These didn't even do anything, except worsening her sight.

Though she had a hard time seeing Cash, she could hear their voice loud and clear as they threatened her. A smile appeared on the girl's face. They knew it was from her. "Having a hard time handling the fact that you were too slow to avoid my amazing spell? You know, this is what dueling is, getting hit. I was pretty sure you had dueled before, but I guess you have forgotten all about that. I mean your brain doesn't work that good, so I don't blame you."

The young girl giggled as Cash told her she was dead. "I don't think the school appreciates murders, and I hear you loud and clear! Though I don't see you that well. I guess I can say the same about you seeing me. Do you like being blindfolded?" she said, hoping for a reaction.

Samantha could hear Juniper's voice through the fog, but she didn't know what happened with Juni's spell. Apparently, something bad had happened as the redhead talked about a "woopsie". "Yes, we can do this!" she replied confidently.

For a moment, Lucia wasn't entirely sure what was happening. Everyone around her was screaming incantations, launching spells in every direction, and Lucia completely lost sight of her target in the sudden blinding mass of light that was the inevitable bad side of so many people casting so many spells all at once. There were just a few things she could make out, one of which being that @Henry Knight's spell, a well-cast nebulus, succeeded, hovering around @Samantha Salwis (who was, apparently as usual, arguing with @Cassandra Ironwoods, again) and some girl with rainbow hair [@Aurora Ranvier], whom Lucia vaguely recognised from a sports team. Quidditch? Or was it Racing? Maybe she was a captain?

Lucia pulled herself out of her musings just in time to notice another possibly-sport-related girl - @Opeila Winters, right? - aiming a wand at her. Lucia gave her something between a startled why are you aiming at me? look and a glare, and to her amazement the girl suddenly changed tactics and aimed at a younger boy who managed to get out of the way just in time.

And then Cody- "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Lucia shouted over at the younger member of the Hufflepuff duelling team as he screamed out an incantation and aimed his wand in Cash's direction. Wreaths of smoke surrounded Cash, Lucia, Henry, and Samantha, until all Lucia could see was the vague flashes of light which were other people's spells. "He was supposed to be on our side!" Lucia hissed to nobody in particular, turning to look at her loyal teammates. Cash appeared to have been blindfolded, and Lucia took a step behind them, squinting, to look at the knot. "That looks like it's going to be hard to get off," she warned them.

Henry then invited a girl named Star [@Starlee Kennedy] to fill Cody's abandoned spot on their team, and Lucia turned to where she presumed the girl was by the direction of her voice. "Welcome to the team. Hope you're more loyal than that traitor." Next, Henry gave everyone on their team a whispered summary of what had just happened. Apparently two people had aimed at Lucia? Well, she must have been very lucky, because if any other spells had gone past her they'd gone so wide she hadn't even seen them. Maybe her would-be-attacker had failed the spell, or maybe they'd changed their mind at the last second like the brunette girl had. "Alright. We've got this. Strength in numbers, right?"

Opeila hadn't expected to hear her name- well, at least not from that girl. The face was vaguely familiar. For one, she did look a bit like Emma, the girl Opeila knew from elementary school, but the Slytherin was sure she had also seen this girl before. Right! She was in her seer club, for which she had quite little time left lately. And she remembered Opeila's name. Crap. "Oh, hi! ...Everly!" Thank god. That was her name, right?

Opeila sent the younger girl a smile, after deciding to not blast her against the opposite wall. There seemed to be some groups forming, it couldn't harm to have someone by her side right? Even if that someone was a year younger. Opeila believed that she had also seen Everly during one of the duelling seasons, so she probably had at least a little experience. "Sure, let's team up!", she agreed.

"So who..." Opeila's voice trailed off as she looked for a first target- and found one rather quickly. It was a classmate of hers, a Hufflepuff, who she remembered was a duellist as well. Opeila gave Everly a look, then nodded towards Lucia and shrugged.
However, as chaos broke out, it was harder than it looked to hit anyone with anything. Both Everly's and Opeila's spells missed their target and trailed off elsewhere.

[font=Times new roman]Only 3 spells in this entire round actually hit their target, it started out with Starlee, sending out a fiery spell towards Samantha, but it missed. Juniper however, wasn’t so unlucky, Cassandra getting hit full force with a regular Incendio. Three more spells very quickly sent their way towards Cassandra, but despite being blindfolded, 2 of them still missed, the 3rd only hitting mildly, that being a Flipendo from Opeila. This round seemed like it was going to provide some more hits than the last, but this one, Del reckoned only about a third of spells actually hit what they wanted.

With the amount of fog and clouds in the ring though, that wasn’t surprising. As Samantha got missed by a blast of wind and Cody missed Everly as well. It certainly didn’t seem like this. Finally, some of the fog was lifted as Henry sent it away with a Ventus. It was definitely quite chaotic hearing everybody shouting their incantations at once, only within a few seconds it all happened, that was the main difference between this and regular duels, it was utterly chaotic in all fashions of the word. As Cassandra removed their blindfold, it all seemed to be over for this round, well that was until Lizzy's spell backfired and you could almost see her sinuses swelling by the second.

It was no surprise that Samantha aimed her wand at Cash, they were blindfolded and hopefully wouldn't see her spell coming. But the aiming was hard, due to the cloud and fog surrounding her. Finding the idiot was more like a guessing game than anything else. The brunette aimed at the place she had last seen them and hoped she would hit the giant idiot.

She didn't have time to focus on her own spell as multiple came her way. The duelist was just able to dodge Starlee's spell, as she spotted an other one. A wind jinx, casted by Lucia, rushed towards the young girl. This one was easier to dodge, Samantha simply stepped aside to let the spell miss her. Luckily Henry casted ventus at the fog Cody had created earlier, making it easier for Samantha to see.

Since Henry had sent some of the fog away, Samantha could see Cash a little better. A big grin appeared on her face when she realised multiple people haf aimed at Cash and some gad even hit. The blindfold had more effect that just blinding Cash in this chaotic duel. Due to the blindfold they had become target of multiple spells. Samantha giggled, this was great. Cash had removed their blindfold and according to them that meant Samantha was a "dead man", but the brunette wasn't afraid.

Before the next round of spells Samantha looked for the red haired first year she teamed up with. "Hey Juni, you good? Are you kicking some butt?" she yelled cheerfully.

Starlee knew she had formed a special bond with Cash. They had always loved her bright and sunny disposition, and Starlee could make Cash laugh with relative ease. Heck she knew about Cash's background, had even managed to meet Cash's mother, even if it was only for a few brief moments, and they had taught her the language of the snake.

With that one Obscuro sent Cash's way, Starlee would turn to face their attacker, with eyes like daggers. Cash's yelled commentary to her only send more rage into her. She couldn't stand it that a friend was in peril, and it hurt even worse that she couldn't do anything to heal them. It was a fellow second year that had covered Cash's eyes, one that she didn't know well at all. That certainly made things a lot easier. She was covered in fog and, hoping that the girl would be set ablaze, she sent a burst of flames her way, her eyes narrowed as she did her best to focus. She was about to cheer, when the girl dodged at the very last second, escaping the flames.

"Damn it!" Starlee mutter aloud. This show of ferocity and rage was not typical, but it certainly wasn't suppressed by the multitude of spells that headed straight for Cash since they were an easy target. Plus the clear rage coming from Cash wasn't helping Starlee, she tended to adapt to the moods of those around her.

"Of course I want to be on your team Henry! I am always with Cash!" she said through gritted teeth, and perhaps a bit too angrily as well for one who is supposed to be a friend. She would probably feel bad about that later.

She watched as Cash removed their blindfold, and she went to give the third year some encouragement. "C'mon Cash! You got this!"
