"Okay, though it certainly did sound as if you thought I was a blood supremacist. I wouldn't put it past you to make that stereotype about me." This interaction was certainly confusing Adelaide, to say the least. One moment they were saying something that was borderline positive to each other, the next they were throwing petty comments and insulting each other. It was certainly a weird dynamic.
The blonde couldn't help but bristle slightly when Lizzy mentioned 'teaching her about whatever she wanted to know'. Something about Lizzy knowing things Adelaide did not irked her immensely, though she tried not to show it. She steeled herself before answering, "Trust me, I certainly do not want to be your friend. Although, since we're going to be in here for hours longer, I suppose it wouldn't hurt if you could tell me some things about the Muggle world. Just start from wherever, maybe something that the Wizarding World doesn't have." Though she would never show it in front of Lizzy, Adelaide was incredibly excited to learn more about the Muggle world. She just couldn't help her curiosity and desire to learn new things.

Lizzy didn't know if the apology was genuine or not, but she chose to accept it as genuine since she didn't feel like fighting over something so childish. She shifted uncomfortably in her seat as the train rattled on across the landscape, taking them to Hogwarts. Finally, she looked up at Adelaide. "Please. If you not liking me had anything to do with my blood status I'm sure you would have made that plenty clear. Besides, I don't think either of us knew much about each other when we met in the library." Really, Lizzy knew close to nothing about the girl whom she despised so much. It was quite ironic in a way.
She scoffed hearing Adelaide's next remark. "One second you seem decent and the next I take every nice thing I might have said back. At least you have dignity to admit it did
sound like you were a blood supremacist." This was perplexing to the Gryffindor. She wondered if this was equally as odd to Adelaide.
It would be, as Adelaide had pointed out, hours until they reached the school. At least they could have the civility to act somewhat decent to each other until they reached their destination. Adelaide ended up asking what things the Muggle world had the Wizarding World did not. "Oh, okay." Lizzy couldn't hide the fact she was surprised Adelaide had actually accepted her offer.
"Well, for starters the Wizarding World doesn't have close to the technology the Muggles do. There's phones, computers, television... it's the digital age for Muggles." Then, a thought crossed her mind suddenly. "And while the Wizarding World had Healers, the Muggles have doctors and surgeons. Since they don't have magic and potions to heal, it's a lot more grim and disgusting."
