Stanley's hopes were slowly starting to fade. There were 4 people on 2 different brooms! That meant less action could be taken against Slytherin. There was still a high chance that the game could be theirs but Stan's previous excitement was quite draining. "We can do it... yay.." He said from the bench trying to force back the frown that wanted to appear on his face.

Once more she was forced to leave the broom because of the rude Slytherins. Again and again falling off the broom was irritative but she could do nothing but wait till the right moment for revenge. The blonde wasn't ready to leave the game yet. Fortunately they got a few more saviours to save her and her previous saviour. But it felt no good with shifting brooms. Gritting her teeth, she held her bat tight. Nothing much happened to drain her confidence, she can still gain what she want. Right?

Percival blinked blankly at the boy's change in tone. It did not worry him in the least bit that the other was growing offended. He did not find the feelings of a prepubescent baby to matter much to him. The boy rolled his eyes and scoffed quite loudly. "Denial is not a good look to have Chen. You are about as easy to get along with as it would be for a fox to get along with a rabbit." he said a tint of amusement at his words. "If you want to survive here Chen you may want to learn to keep to yourself." he said cooly. Percival turned back towards the game a frown upon his face as he watched the players move about. He would give no response to Avery's warning about Kit Paine. He did not want to think more about the caretaker and his supposed charm.

The day still young and there is still a possibilities that the house of Serpent could win the whole game even though their house are down by 20 points from the badge. Anything is possible, Cash keep repeating the mantra in their head. There was not much the green eyes could do except returned to their broom and watched how the game right now.

Once Cash returned to their broom, the Beater sent their gratitude to the young Chaser known as Maggie Hawkins. Sharing a broom with someone is fun and all but not that efficient when it comes down to how Cash wanted to execute their plan. Sharing a broom with someone there is always a high chance that either one or both of them could fall off of the broom.

The third-year whipped their head when someone called their name not by Cassandra or Cash but Phoenix. Their first real name that not many people know it. Cash could count with one hand how many people know that particular name. The Cuban descent squinted their eyes when they saw who dare to call them by their first name.

When they saw Vivian was the one that called Cash by their first name, the young Ironwoods lifted their bat and pointed to the second-year Beater. You are dead, Cash mouthing the word. It seems their prayer had been answered quickly by Erin who managed to knock both Atlas and Vivian from their share broom.

Cash hoped that it was the end for Vivian but it seems the odds were not in their favor as Cash saw both Atlas and Vivian were caught by their teammate. "Why won't you fall already!"They stated to no one in particular but at least their house managed to pressure the other team making four players share two brooms at the same time.

That feat alone would make the opposing team short on actions and would not be that effective when it comes down to singular actions. The green eyes did not mind how long they needed to play the match. The last time they were up against Hufflepuff it was dragged on and so long but in the end, the house of green and silver came out as the victor over Hufflepuff during that match.

Surely, they can make that as a repeat performance. They believe in their teammates. Slytherins are ambitious, tenacious, and would not go down without a fight!

While the phrase that 'cheating was bad' had been drilled into Koko her entire life, she found that when cheating went well, it was, in fact, very good indeed.

Her blood still boiled from when she had watched Ethen score, and for a fleeting moment, Koko wished she had a better poker face. Alas, a murderous grin was spreading across her lips, and she couldn't stop it. She was filled with a strange mixture of glee and fury, and despite the chill to the air, she was very warm due to the fire raging in her veins.

Her hands clenched her broom tightly as she pushed it near its maximum speed. If she could have seen under her gloves, she would have sworn her knuckles were bone-pale from how tightly she was clenching her fists.

It seemed that fury made for a good motivator, though, because the usually-pacifistic Koko felt more certain of herself than she had in a long time, especially in blatching. It was a fine art, one that Alexx had perfected (and one that Koko usually failed at), but as she sped towards Ethen, she thought she was doing something right. He was right in her way -

- and then he wasn't, and Vivian and Atlas were there instead.

Koko, of course, was not going to give up her perfect swoop, and besides that, she was now angry with them, too, for intercepting her blatch. Koko wasn't even fully aware of what she was doing before her hands were outstretched and Vivian and Atlas were free-falling.

What a beautiful sight.

Koko flinched when she heard her name called - Drat. So she had managed to execute a wonderful blatch but had been caught.

Oh well. Maybe she could get Ethen next time...

Despite thoroughly enjoying his time scoring points, Ethen knew that he needed to refocus his efforts on the snitch. The longer it took him to catch it, the more opportunities Slytherin would have to take him or his teammates out. Turning his broom, Ethen launched himself forward and back on the path of the snitch.

It was immediately clear that the snitch would not be making things easy. Even keeping his speed up, he seemed to be struggling to make any ground on the quickly zipping golden ball. He was suddenly aware that again he was a target of an attack but just as before, his teammates would be his savior. He had to grit his teeth as he saw Atlas and Vivian ripped from Atlas' broom in their defense.

As much as he wanted to help them, he knew his best chance for helping would be to catch the elusive little snitch. Narrowing his eyes, Ethen grumbled to himself as he kept up the chase.

Atlas was keeping her eyes trained on the Slytherin players while making sure to keep Ethen in the corner of her scope. She wanted to make sure that any threat towards Ethen could be quickly crushed. It seemed she wouldn't have to wait long as Slytherin was intent on crushing him.

It looked like one of them was setting up a blatching attempt and Atlas knew there was no time to waste. She needed to get in the way of the attacker so Ethen didn't need to worry about getting smacked off his broom. Atlas flew towards the threat and suddenly found herself riped from the broom. For a moment she began to understand what Ethen must have felt like each game when he was tossed from the broom but then a bit of dread about hitting the ground began to set in. She grit her teeth and cursed as she felt like it was her fault for not picking a better angle.

She didn't have to plummet far, however, before she was rescued by Howard. "Well, I definitely owe you for this one," Atlas said with a grin. It wasn't an ideal position but at least she was still in the game. If she had to she would be willing to tackle one of the Slytherin players off their broom.

Metaphorical gloves had been thrown to the ground. If only she had a way to read minds or see the events play out prior to the round, perhaps she could tip the game in their favor. Despite being a young seer, no visions would be assisting her this day. Curse or blessing, Odin would not grace her with a vision for something as small as a quidditch game.
