To New Friendship!
Hidden away within the confines of the great big Library of Hogwarts, and tucked into a little corner (not the restricted section one), was a desk big enough to seat at the most probably ten people. There was a fine layer of dust coating the area, from the books to the chairs to even the very floor being flooded with it. It seemed like no one had stepped foot within this part of the Library for centuries, maybe even for a millennia, and the way that the light barely reached the desk caused shadows to streak across the seat at the head of the table. Within this seat there sat a Ravenclaw. The blue of his House Crest shined brightly in the semi-darkness of the region of Library that he was sitting in. In front of him sat an old book, so old that the pages were close to decaying and there was a fine layer of dust between the pages. How that was even possible, the boy did not know, but the book was interesting. It had been lying on the desk when he had gotten there, and he knew instantly that there was a chance that this could be a Restricted Book. But how was he to know?
The boy got up and stretched his legs by quickly peeking around the corner to see if the others were coming. <<Lumos>> The boy said in a quiet voice while his wand immediately shone with light from its tip, hoping that the others would see his light and come towards their meeting place.
Now this boy was Gabriel Mattix, and he knew that his friends would not be too late, but that they would have trouble finding him. He was excited to start the meeting, whose invitations he had discreetly spread to those interested. And so when his new friends would arrive, then and only then would the real fun start...

Eri had been in the library to find Gabriel Mattix. In the process she had gotten very lost. She decided to pick up a book as she kept looking for him.
Eri was looking for Gabriel when she found a book on animaguses that caught her attention. She picked the book up and smiled. She tucked it in her arms and kept walking.
Eri was distracted since she was in the library. Books were her favorite things and she was in a place full of them. She shook her head and needed to focus.
The brunette heard someone say part of the library near him. She walked behind the shelf and saw Gabriel. "Did you have to be so hard to find?" She sighed and opened her book she found. She sat down and read the book. Now they had to wait for everyone else to show up. It might take awhile, but it was worth it. The library was so much fun to explore. She wondered how he even found this place. It looked like nobody had used it in years. It was awesome old and awesome. Maybe they could explore some more. Well they had to wait though before the meeting would start.

Linyum is just so exciting. She prepared herself to meet her friends. She even practised her words not to be awkward. She knew that they are going to meet in Library, but there is so huge, she worried. She went Library and tried not to take any attention, so they are not gonna understand there is a secret meeting.
She searched nearly everywhere to find them while she is acting like she is trying to find some book. She took one book from the shelf without looking. She saw a little gleam between the books. She walked one or two shelves and at last she found them.
She stared the area with pondering. It is easy to find but impossible to see. She amazed Gabriel.
"Hi, everyone." she whispered.
"Am i late?"
There is one person that is absent. She actually relieved since she did not want to make them wait, no need to tell it is their first.
"I am so excited. School, lessons, life. May be, one day we are going to drink butterbeer all together." she said with shimmering eyes. At this time of her life, she really behaves like herself without hesitating even it is mean to be odd.

Asteria quietly opened the doors to the library, a Ravenclaw first year by the name Gabriel Mattix had invited her and a few others to meet in the library after class and Asteria was curious as usual. Deciding to act like she was here to study, Asteria searched the shelves, all the while keeping an eye out for Gabriel and anyone else who came. As she reached the third shelf, Asteria picked out a book on Potions and opened it, when she heard a voice whisper near her area. "Am i late?" the female sounding voice said. closing the book, Asteria looked further down the isle, there was a barely noticeable light gleaming not too far off 'When in doubt follow the light.' she thought to herself.
As she grew closer to the source, Asteria heard the female voice whisper again, "...May be, one day we are going to drink butterbeer all together." Asteria stopped as she reached the destination. She had never been in this part of the library before. The area, for the most part was covered in dust save for the area that was now disturbed by those who were here. The books in the area looked untouched, as though frozen in a time in which they last were used.It had a peaceful, relaxing vibe to it, one which Asteria liked. Asteria's green eyes swept quickly over the area once more.
"Here we are then." Asteria whispered as she looked toward where the others were. Sitting in a chair was a brunette girl who was reading a book, not to far off was another girl. She had long, honey coloured hair, and blue eyes. Finally, sitting at the head of the table was Gabriel, his wand being the source of light that guided the way. "Is this everyone?" she quietly asked, "or do we have anymore coming?" She finished as she took a seat at the other end of the table.

A group of students invited by owl only to a secluded corner of the library? If that wasn't fishy, nothing was. Gabriel Mattix... interesting child there, Ami thought to herself, staring at her halo of hair in the mirror as she braided it into submission. I wonder why he reached out. Tying the end, she straightened out her blouse and threw her robes on over it. Grabbing her wand and knife, she snatched her satchel off the end of her bed and headed to the library.
Walking into the library, Ami did a quick scan and realized that their little meeting probably wasn't going to take place in broad daylight. To the back shelves, then! She stumbled upon the secluded gathering in time to hear a fellow redhead ask, "Is this everyone, or do we have more coming?" She eyed everyone else suspiciously, taking in familiar faces- Eri she knew, and Gabriel had reached out to her. The other Ravenclaw and the Gryffindor she didn't know, but that was going to change drastically.
"Hey," she said simply, laying on her natural American accent thicker than usual. "What's up?" She dragged over a chair, and plopped down, hanging her bag on the back of the chair. She nodded at Eri, acknowledging that they'd met before, but offered nothing else. "Who else are we waiting for?"

A musty smell greeted Charles as the young Hufflepuff walked through the labyrinth of bookshelves, tables, and chairs. The low light that filtered through the dusty windows seemed to give Charles just enough light to wander throughout the maze of books. Charles had never formally met Gabriel or whoever else was invited to this meeting, Charles wasn't sure why he was chosen but he took the opportunity immediately. The boy befriended two other students already and now he would add even more to the growing roster! Charles was excited, Charles was nervous, Charles was jittery, and Charles was sure he got himself lost. The wizard threw his hands up in exasperation and let out a sigh, how was he supposed to make friends if he couldn't find them! He didn't want to give a bad first impression for being late. It's alright Charles just keep looking, you'll find them soon enough. The boy began his search once more, scouring the dusty aisles and musty tome filled hallways. Then, Charles saw a light. He could faintly make out five figures seated around each other in at an old wooden table. The incredible amount of dust that was kicked up into the air around them glittered in and out of the light that sat atop of Gabriel's wand. For a moment they looked like statues of famous witches and wizards getting together to make decisions that could change the world forever.
Charles beamed, I'm a part of that! The boy strolled up and grabbed a nearby seat and sat next to one of the girls he recognized in passing, the boy was sure that her name was Ami or Annie. Charles was terrible with names. “Hello everybody! Sorry if I'm late, this library is huge! Is everyone here?”

Frost was kind of surprised when she got the owl from Gabriel Mattix. She wondered who else would be showing up.
Buttoning up her robes and fixing her hair, Frost leaves and heads for the Library.
Frost stares in awe at the plethora of books surrounding her as if she was seeing it for the first time. Definitely, don't want to get lost now. Not a good time to lose sight of where you are going.
She wasn't surprised when she couldn't find the group at first look. Of course, this meeting wouldn't be out in the open. Everyone with common sense would be somewhere secluded if it was invite-only.
She squints and looks over at the darker, less used parts of the library. She swore she saw a beam of light coming from one of the darker sections.
Deciding to go with her gut, she follows the light. She'll never know if she never tries. Besides, what harm could be done? If she was wrong she would just apologize and leave. Simple as that.
Getting closer, she could see a few people gathered around. Some she recognized, some she didn't.
She spots Gabriel's face. Yes, she had come to the right place. There were lots of people. Was she late?
She takes a seat, sitting cross-legged, next to a boy named Charles. She leans back in her seat, twisting her robes.
"Sorry if I was late. Didn't know where you would be."
Better late than never, right?

Everyone had finally arrived, and all within what seemed to be only ten minutes but was more likely closer to fifteen. Each and everyone of them had asked about being late, but seeing as they had found the place faster than he had expected, Gabriel was forced to admit: “None of you were late, as you were all early, as I had expected that this place would be harder to find. Being as I've never seen this place before and my grandfather was right, this is the perfect place to hold a meeting.” He stood up and motioned for everyone to move their seats and themselves closer. Being seated at the head of the table, Gabriel could easily see their faces, filled with both confusion and curiosity.
“I have invited each and everyone of you to this meeting for one reason only, as there is something within each of you that stands out. Now I shall not say what it is now, but it will reveal itself to you later. First things first, I would like to know you guys better. I would like for everyone to say at least two things that they wish to do during their time here at Hogwarts, especially things that we can do as a group. For example, my two things are creating spells and maybe becoming an Animagus with the rest of you of course... and now the next person can answer” Gabriel said, waiting for someone to answer, and also ready to take a mental note of who would answer first...

Eri looked around the table and decided she would answer first. "I'm Eri Windstone, and I would like to become an animagus and successfully make a potion the first try." She was awfully bad at potions. So that would be a great accomplishment for her. Maybe even getting it perfected, but that was a long shot. Seeing as she never remembered to stir the correct way. Potions just weren't her forte. They confused her so hopefully one day she would understand them and pass with flying colors. Until then she will just have to work hard at even making a potion.
Eri looked at everyone curiously. This wasn't her ideal group, but it would work. What did he mean they all had something that made them stand out? She didn't like anticipation, but she guesses she will have to wait until he reveals. She wonders what kind of things they will be doing in this meeting. Like working on spells, or what? She was curious about that and wanted to know why he selected just these people and this location for there meeting. It was well hidden, but they all seemed to find it alright. Why was it hidden so well?

Within minutes of Asteria's arrival, it wasn't long before another student showed up to the meeting. A Hufflepuff girl, she had dark eyes, auburn hair that seemed difficult to tame, freckles, and bony legs. "What's up?" The girl said with an American accent. "Who else are we waiting for?" as though it were right on cue another student arrived, he was also a Hufflepuff student based on his uniform. He had dark brown hair and hazel eyes that hid behind a pair of glasses that he wore. "Hello everybody! Sorry if I'm late, this library is huge! Is everyone here?" he said as he sat next the the Hufflepuff girl. It wasn't long before yet another student entered the group, yet another Hufflepuff girl.
This girl also had freckles, with dark brown eyes, reddish-brown hair that fell to her shoulders, and a cheeky grin. "Sorry, if I was late. Didn't know where you would be." With that the girl took her seat next to the brunette Ravenclaw girl. Out of there group Asteria didn't really know anyone here, she had seen a few of them in certain classes but other then that she hadn't interacted with them. The most recognizable one being the Ravenclaw girl with the Transfiguration book. Asteria was sure she had seen her a few times with Emmett, a boy from her house, but she wasn't sure.
“None of you were late," Asteria heard Gabriel say."as you were all early, as I had expected that this place would be harder to find. Being as I've never seen this place before and my grandfather was right, this is the perfect place to hold a meeting.” Silently Asteria listened to what Gabriel had to say, all the while making observations. If there is one thing her father taught her is the making observations is important.“I have invited each and everyone of you to this meeting for one reason only," he went on."as there is something within each of you that stands out.' Asteria's curiosity peaked a bit 'there is something within each of you that stands out.' she wanted to get to know them more and that just boosted how much more she wanted to.
"First things first, I would like to know you guys better. I would like for everyone to say at least two things that they wish to do during their time here at Hogwarts, especially things that we can do as a group." Asteria gave a slight nod. Understandable, if they were going to be a group, they all might as well learn more about each other in order hopefully get along."For example, my two things are creating spells and maybe becoming an Animagus with the rest of you of course... and now the next person can answer” Gabriel explained. The was a brief pause as each person waited for the next response, "I'm Eri Windstone," said the brunette Ravenclaw. "and I would like to become an animagus and successfully make a potion the first try." she finished.
Asteria decided to speak next, "I am Asteria Hana," she said. "I would like to become an animagus as well, and further improve my abilities in Defense against the Dark Arts." Asteria was really good at Defense against the Dark Arts, but she found that there was always room for improvement. Especially if she wanted to follow in her fathers footsteps.
