A Friend Made Through Ink PV Pen Pal Closed

Lizzy was slightly nervous to send her first letter to her pen pal, Roseline. Her quill pal and her had fallen out of touch, but Lizzy had a good feeling about Roseline. She was certain this was the start of something new and exciting for both girls. Having never actually met Roseline in person, Lizzy hoped that the two girls would form a long lasting friendship through letters by owl. She sent her first letter off to Roseline, waiting eagerly for the reply.
Dear Roseline,

I am so happy to have you as a pen pal! I look forward to many letters exchanged and hopefully forming a friendship with you through pen and paper.

Starting with the basic introduction, my name is Lizzy Solace. I'm a first year Gryffindor here at Hogwarts. I'm from London, where I lived with my parents and older brother, Ben. I'm a muggle born, so none of my family has ever attended Hogwarts before. I'm the first!

My hobbies and interests include reading, writing, music, and exploring. My head is almost always stuck in a book, so when I am reading on the grounds I may look like I'm here, but in my head, I'm far away in whatever fantasy land I'm reading about. As for exploring, I lived near a forest area of London, in which my brother and I were constantly exploring. We navigated through it so many times, and yet every time we went into the forest it seemed like a brand new adventure.

I'm looking forward to receiving a letter back from you!

Your pen pal,
Lizzy

Roseline is surprised to get a letter
@Lizzy Solace
Roseline was surprised to get a letter. It's not like she never saw a letter, she has seen many, but none of them was from a Hogwarts student, or as it stated, "Pen Pal". Roseline excitedly took the letter and unfolded it gently on her table.
After reading it, her face lit up. She found a friend at last, to whom she can write her letters.
Roseline replied:
Dear Lizzy,
It's my pleasure to meet you. You already know my name, but let me introduce myself more clearly.
I am Roseline MoonShine, a pure-blood, so my parents also graduated in Hogwarts. I am always friendly and like Muggle-born. I live in Culham, just currently shifted to London.
It's good to know that you have so many interesting hobbies and also like books. I too like books but they bore me if I read them for more than 5 hours. However, that doesn't matters.
I too like exploring. We have a small forest area near my house and I always go there with my brother, Jack.
It will be better to also know our favorites. My favorite color is red. And yes, my favorite book is, "The Diary of A Young Girl" and also all the story books written by Enid Blyton. If I say about the study books, it's the books related to Charms, Potions, Defense Against The Dark Arts and also the Herbology. Flying can also be included. Astrology is very complex to me, so I don't like it that much, but still I like it's beauty. The rest subjects are quite boring in my view.
Hoping to get a reply soon!
Your pen pal,
Roseline

Rose is the sign of friendship and moon the sign of glory, and from here, starts Roseline MoonShine's beauty.

An urgent tapping noise came at the window she was reading by that night. Lizzy leaped up, startled, and opened the window wide. An owl flew into the room and landed, perched on top of a wooden table. She smiled as she saw it was from her pen pal and freed the letter from the owl. After feeding the owl a few breadcrumbs and whatnot, she pressed her finger under the letter's seal to open it. Lizzy sat back down to read it, and then began to write a response to Roseline.
Dear Roseline,

Honestly, books could never bore me, unless it was a textbook or nonfiction. The only books I really read are fantasy books. There is so much more you can do with fantasy! I'm happy to hear you and I share the interest of exploring though. You have a brother as well? Is he older or younger than you? Do the two of you get along well?

Favorites, favorites. Well, my favorite color is blue, any shade of blue. I enjoy the Diary of a Young Girl as well, but my favorite book would have to be the Divergent series. I wonder, have you ever read that series? If not I would highly recommend it. There are so many twists and turns it'll leave you on the edge of your seat! You won't want to put the book down!

I don't really like the studying part of Astronomy either, but I do like stargazing. Flying is not my favorite subject either because I'm afraid of heights where you don't have a harness or anything to stop your potential fall. Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts are my favorite subjects, but I like them all besides Flying and Astronomy.

Your pen pal,
Lizzy
