And Then It Went SPLASH
Isabella wandered down to the Great Lake, carrying a picnic basket full of food that some house elves in the kitchen had so kindly provided. Her and a few of her friends had agreed to meet down by the Great Lake for a picnic and a break from the overload of homework they were getting everyday.
'The Professors really are giving us a lot of homework.' She thought. She had been having a constant headache from thinking so much. Most of her afternoons were usually spent in the library or the common room and she had had no time to go anywhere else.
She walked almost to edge of the lake and spread the picnic blanket out before placing the basket down. It had been her idea to have the picnic down by the lake. She could never get enough of it. She loved watching the giant squid swim lazily around, just below the surface of the water. She smiled to herself as she sat down in the warm afternoon sun.
She lay down, looking up towards the almost cloudless sky. She knew she must look weird, lying there all alone. But she didn't really care what others thought about her anymore. She just wanted to relax for a few hours.

And Then It Went SPLASH
Anastasia had been surprised when Isabella had asked her to come for a picnic. She hadn't been to many while being at Hogwarts. What fun! She thought to herself as she made her way onto the grounds towards the Great Lake.
The sun was shining brightly on her face and it warmed up her cherry cheeks. What a lovely feeling to have, She thought. She would cherish it forever. The stress of not doing homework had been lifted off of her shoulders and now she could finally relax with a few of her friends.
Anastasia could see Isabella laying in the grass on a green and silver Slytherin picnic blanket. Isabella looked as though she was enjoying this as much as she was and the fun was only just starting.
Anastasia lay next to Isabella and closed her eyes for a while. Eventually, Anastasia said, "Hey," in a calm voice that indicated that she didn't really mind if she didn't reply.
This was probably the nicest day, with no clouds, the sun shining, and the grass dry enough to lay in; since she had been at Hogwarts. What a better way to remember it than with a picnic with a few of her closest friends.
She rolled onto her stomach and gazed into the Great Lake. Not a ripple could be seen on it's incredibly flat surface. Not even the giant squid made any difference. Gracefully gliding under the surface, watching the sky as the birds flew past. "Maybe the squid wants to be a bird,?" Anastasia said aloud.

Leola slowly made her way down to the lake soaking in the sunshine as the cool breeze whipped at her hair into her face. She was so relieved to be free of homework for the day. The professors have been giving them a lot lately and she had never felt more stressed. She had felt so relieved when Isabella had invited her to the picnic to spend time with some friends. She saw Isabella and Anastasia already lying down on a green and silver Slytherin picnic blanket. The lake was so calm not even the giant squid swimming around disturbed its peaceful look.
A smile spread across her face as she watched birds flying across the lake there song filling the air. She reached were Isabella and Anastasia were lying. She lay down next to them and felt like at that moment everything in the world was were it should be and wished she could stay there forever.
"hey" she said, a beautiful aroma was wafting out of the basket full of food.
"yum smells like you hit the jackpot with the house elves Isabella"
She closed her eyes and let everything soak in she could tell this was going to be a great day.

Anastasia was delighted with how well today was going. Everyone was cheerful and happy which made her even happier than her original state. She moved over on the blanket to let Leola sit down next to her. "Homework has been so stressful lately," she complained, watching the expressions on her friend's faces turn sour and she instantly knew that they were feeling her pain. *Sigh* She brushed her fingers through her hair, pulling back any loose bits that had escaped her surprising good messy bun.
A strong urge passed through her body and she couldn't help but do what it insisted. She stood up from her comfortable spot on the blanket and stretched her arms way up into the air, she imagined herself touching the candy flossy clouds, clenching her back muscles. Leaning over the edge of the river bank she peered into the depths below. How peaceful it must be for the Giant Squid, down below. Not having a single worry in the world. She took a deep breath of the sweet summer air and exhaled. This moment would definitely be described in one of the many letters home to her mother. Anastasia enjoyed writi g letter to her mother describing what she had been doing at school.

And Then It Went SPLASH
Arebella walked through the halls heading towards the lake. She was surprised when Isabella invited her down to the lake. She didn't know the Slythering girl much but they had talked on the train a little and she did seem nice.
Arebella pushed open the door and started towards the lake. As she got closer she noticed other people there. "Oh no." Arebella said to herself. She was not good with new people and even just being a few she still got shivers and became nervous. Arebella started pacing her walking.
Finally of course she was at the lake and stood in front of the three. "Hello Isabella and you three, I'm Arebella Oliviera." She greated happy she didn't mess up at all. She looked down at the lake. It was beutiful. The trees were reflecting off it as if it were a mirror. You could just miss the big squids shadow underneath the water and the light hit it just perfectly. This would be a perfect picture. Four friends having a picnic by the most beutiful lakein Scotland. Well Arebella hoped they would become friends. She hadn't made any so far even being her first week. She had always been socially akward and her parents worried. She shrugged that off and turned back to them with a smile.

Anastasia turned around and saw a girl she had never seen before. She looked very nervous standing in front of them, so Anastasia gave her a reassuring smile. "Hi, I'm Anastasia," She said, "I don't think we've met before, it's lovely to meet you" Anastasia walked up to her to shake her hand politely.
After chatting for awhile, they all got to know each other a little more and were more comfortable around each other. "Well..." Anastasia said trying to break the awkward silence. " I think it's about time she that we have something to eat, don't you say Isabella?" Anastasia giggled hungrily eyeing the big basket of delicious house elf supplied food.
Anastasia's tummy rumbled as she tucked in the endless amounts of food that was shared among her and her friends. It was so nice to be able to just relax with a few of her mates and have a good snack or two. Times like these were why she loved it so much here at Hogwarts and she was happy to be sharing these moments with some of her friends.
I wish that this day would never end, she thought lost in a magical day dream.

Leola turned around as a girl that she didn't know approached them. " Hello Isabella, and hi everyone else i'm Arebella Oliviera" She said. "Nice to meet you Arebella i'm Leola" Leola said with a kind smile offering her hand for Arebella to shake.
Once Leola and Anastasia had introduced themselves to the Arebella and everyone got talking and got to know each other a little bit better she found things out about Isabella and Anastasia that she had not known before then. After they had been talking for awhile an awkward silence broke out among them "Well... I think it's about time that we have something to eat, don't you say Isabella?" Said Anatasia with a little giggle. Leola smiled and agreed hungrily, she wasn't one to turn down an offer of food and she could tell by the smell of the food it was going to be good really good. As she watched Isabella unpack the food she returned to gazing across the lake she couldn't get over how beautiful it looked and couldn't help but smile. She wondered what it would be like to live in the great lake what it looked like at the bottom were the merpeople live.

Anastasia waited patiently as Isabella shared out the food across the picnic blanket. It smelt so delicious. Anastasia giggled with excitement. Anastasia was one of those people who just couldn't turn down any food offer that had been presented to her.
Within about 20 minutes Anastasia felt as though she was stuffed to the brim and most of the food was almost gone. She lay on her back looking at the sky thinking, It would be pretty cool to be a bird!
As time went by they all knew that sooner or later they would be having to go back into the school and be reunited with their dreaded homework and possibly even more than they remembered. Anastasia planned to enjoy this day for as long as she could or at least while it lasted.
Anastasia gazed across the surface of the lake, wondering lazily what it would be like to swim in there... But quickly she snapped out of it knowing that that was breaking the school rules and she would surely get detention along with her friends for being there with her and she could t risk bringing her friends down with her. One day, she thought, one day... maybe!

Leola stuffed to the brim with delicious food sat gazing at the lake it really was beautiful and calm her mind keep flickering to the thought of having to go back inside to her pile of homework that was waiting for her she new the day would have to come to an end eventually but that didn't make the thought of having to return any easier . She started frantically searching for something to take her mind off of that thought she really didn't want to return to her homework that was looming ever closer , she saw Anastasia standing at the edge of the lake taking in the view Leola could tell she was lost in thought suddenly an evil idea swam into her head she knew she shouldn't do it but she couldn't stop herself . She slowly crept up behind Anastasia she knew she would get into so much trouble for this and probably get detention for a week but she really didn't care nothing could stop what she was about do next. She crept up behind her and placed two hands on her back 3 , 2 , 1 , PUSH , GRAB , SPLASH .
