Gryffindor v Slytherin Broom Race Jan 2022

Violet was happy to see that she was doing pretty well, so happy that she accidentaly bonk on a wall, making her scream slightly of pain. As much as Carrington wanted to kill, or destroy the wall, the only thing she could do right now was to continue racing towards the finish line.

The race was getting tougher, there weren't any view-obstructing obstacles ahead of her in the race, and so she could just make out some other racers in the distance, they weren't in the sky anymore, she was looking down at them on the ground. Scarlet was disappointed to see that her efforts to get Vale ahead in the race didn't pan out as she had imagined, she expected her teammate to have taken a positions much further ahead of everyone else, but she was pretty sure the girl was now one of the few on the ground.

Maybe a head injury though. That kinda hurts.

And Vale was pretty sure something smacked her like she ran into a wall of bricks. Even the acid didn't compared to whatever that was. Whatever the case, she ended up finding herself head first into the ground despite some help from another teammate.

It would've made her laugh in glee if she wasn't nearly choking on a mound of dirt in her mouth. She quickly spit it out, yet suspiciously wasn't replused by the taste. Not edible; can't swallow that down. She scratched her head, looking around the ground for her own broom and barely registered her other teammates on the ground and that one Gryffindor that seems to be the oldest of them all.

Nothing seems to be in favor for the Slytherins at the moment, but Vale somehow did not let that put her down. It was impressive! Breath-taking even. If Vale was a dog, her tail would be wagging away. A dog that is very easy to impress, that is.

We gathered stones, never knowing what they’ll mean. Some to throw, some to make a diamond ring. For Thomas Lestrange, however, it wasn’t the latter. Why make a fancy ring when you can throw it at the beautiful in white girl, Della Barfield. How barbaric. Now they’ve got problems and no one thinks they could solve them. But will Della dodge the attack from Thomas Lethrow? Improvised Projectile Thomas’ Acc -> 11 (+13) (-1 due to speed) = 23 Della’s Eva -> 20 (+10) (-3 due to speed) = 27 Missed Once upon a time, a few mistakes ago, Thomas apparently wasn’t accurate enough to hit the girl with whatever he was throwing. Della was more capable than anyone ever thought. Although she was only a first year, her skill was extraordinary, perhaps better than those dusty and rickety eldery. Hugh and his tall stature, doesn’t mean that his bravery was as high as his height. Upon arrival in the next unit, surrounded by a narrow passageway, he seemed to be distracted by the presence of Scarlet Salvatore from three units above. Perhaps she looked so casually cruel in the name of being honest, making Hugh feel uneasy like when someone called him again just to break him like a promise. The stone formation would make some scratches on his skin, hopefully he wouldn’t have to weep in a bathroom due to the injury he had to endure. He learnt from his mistakes, then flew past the same but easier challenge with ease. Damage (broom speed*10) Hugh -> 4*10 = 40 = 32 (due to 20% damage reduction from part giant race) It seemed like he wasn’t the only one who walked down the violent route. Hugh Lowe decided it was the best idea to cast something at another player as he flew to places he had never been. Lubricus Hugh’s Acc -> 5 (+10) (-3 due to speed) = 12 Wyatt’s Eva -> 16 (+10) = 26 Missed As Wyatt was searching for his broom, he managed to evade the spell from a certain gryffindor. Hugh might be okay, but I bet he wasn’t fine at all watching the spell disappear into thin air, hitting nothing. The next person came into the view was the terrifying Scarlet Salvatore. Before unfortunately fell from her broom and die pass out, she managed to throw something, again, at Della Barfield. Poor white haired girl, she didn’t deserve to be the shooting target. Improvised Projectile Scarlet’ Acc -> 17 (+7) = 24 Della’s Eva -> 13 (+10) (-3 due to speed) = 20 Damage -> 25*10 -> 250 They said all’s well that ends well but Della is in a new hell every time someone throws something at her. It was rare, she is usually very good at dodging things but not this time. In this city’s barren cold, she would remember the first fall of snow when Scarlet maim her. She’d remember it all too well. She would be able to build a castle of the bricks they threw at her. But if Della tried to look back towards the thrower, she wouldn’t see a thing, because Scarlet passed out due to her injuries. Rest in peace. (this will happen when Della is in her farthest unit) Scarlet is bye bye Moving on to the scenery of fallen racers, everyone was busy getting their broom and zoom! Not Xailah and Levi though. Xailah readied her wand instead and cast a cracker charm instead at the best eye roller Hogwarts had ever seen whilst Levi… Time won’t fly like he’s paralyzed by it. Maybe he tried to be his old self again, he’s still trying to find it. Cracker Charm Xai's acc -> 3 (+13) = 16 Violet's eva -> 10 (+13) (-3 due to speed) = 20 Missed Violet was fast. So this was Xailah, swallowing her pride, standing behind Violet, but she probably wasn’t sorry for what she did. But the gryffindor might see the tiny snake burning in the back of her mind. And there goes the most shameless woman this town has ever seen, she had a marvellous time ruining everything. It was Nicholas and Della, they were Miss Paddington and the heartbreaker prince, voted most likely to win the race whilst the other’s winter nights, especially the slytherins were taken up by static and stress. Hard vines were upon them, though Della was doing as amazing as she always was, Nicholas was snared. Perhaps this was karma for allegedly cheating on Aurora. But with his amazing strength, of course, he wiggled his way out of the vines. The same thing was experienced by Violet, but for some reason, she had the strength to get away. So will it be forever or will it go down in flames? Both the Gryffindor captain and one of his minions left the other and flew towards the victory. There was another high wind ready to kick their tiny arses. Knowing how far they’ve been through, it would be a shame if they failed in this unit. But they were like ‘Can I go where you go? Can we always be this close?’, the wind couldn’t even yeet them out of their broom.
