Ugh, that's all very interesting. I'm jealous, my mum doesn't like animals and she won't let us keep any at home. I managed to let her keep a tortoise though, but that's all.
Having eyes, but not seeing beauty; having ears, but not hearing music; having minds, but not perceiving truth; having hearts that are never moved and therefore never set on fire - these are the things to fear.

An adult goat once kicked my grandfather (he is an animal lover) on his belly.
I'm not sure why they kick (maybe if they feel threatened or something) but yeah, that happens. Baby goats are incredibly cute. I like adult goats too, though. But in fairness, I've not really gotten close to them.

Goats only get defensive when they feel threatened. I'm not a goat expert, but I've picked up on that with most animals.

animals are animals. they arent always friends. i tend to be very quiet (almost mute) around animals, try not to spook them. especially wild animals (birbs). you telling them 'its okay' will likely frighten them more then staying completely silent. i find dogs also get less excited and remain relatively calm if you dont really talk to them.
