Dear Haley,

You miss me? You actually miss me? Do you think about me?

If we're going to be cheesy then I will admit that I have missed you as well since returning to Dumstrang.

Life here as been just as dull. Classes, exercises, quidditch and a few minor fights. Nothing really spectacular here since the visit, perhaps we'll have a chance to visit again in may like last year? That would lighten up this dull year, seeing you again.

I remember the challenges, yes. Do you remember my words though? The challenges won't be simple and will challenge your body and mind. They will help you come to the dark side and embrace your new self.

The first challenge for the lovely miss Haley Rose...
Skipp your first period class of the day and go to the quidditch pitch, pratice quidditch or read. It doesn't matter what you do just don't go to that first class.

I expect a full report. On whay class you skipped and what you did, I have a feeling you will do it but want to see if you do or not

The first challenge you gave to me was diffcult since I hate nearly everyone at Dumstrang and I thought about not doing it but knew that I couldn't not do the first challenge.

One of my elder brother's friends was in the same room with me when I received your letter. I hate me so I apporched, told me thay I hated him because he is friends with my brother and is so uncoordinated that he akways trips and pushes into me. Naturally he pushed me and I pushed him back....

Anyway I completed the challenge, surprise?

I really do hope we can meet again soon but until then your challenges are a pleasant reminder that you are sitting in Durmstrang and maybe thinking about how I overcome them...or fail them every now and then.

So let me tell you lovely miss Haley Rose did her challenge. Yes, you read correctly and no, I did not make a mistake. Miss Haley Rose actually skipped class, went to Quidditch pitch and practiced. And since you're expecting a full report, here it is:

Tuesday, it was time to get up but I was more tired than I have been in a long time and that made me think of your challenge. Staying in bed for a while and exercising would definitely help to get my circulation going. So I stayed in bed, luckily I looked unhealthy as well, because the girls in my dorm immediately believed me when I said I wasn't feeling well. Well, eventually I got ready and went to the Quidditch pitch. I'll be honest, the first few metres were hell! The whole time I was afraid that someone would come around the corner and catch me, but eventually it got better. I mean, everyone was in class and if they weren't they would still be asleep or at breakfast. So who was going to see me? Eventually I became more relaxed with each step and bang I had arrived at my destination. I went for a few rounds of jogging, did some strength training with my body weight and then did some flying. All in all - challenge passed.

Of course I'm not surprised that you did your challenge as well, but my thought behind it of course wasn't that you'd have the next fight right away actually there was no thought behind it at all.

But here is your new challenge and this time hopefully without fists

Try to be friendly to EVERYONE for one day.

Dear Haley,

I have a feeling that we will each again and have a proper conversation but until then at least we have owls so I can ensure you are continuing your lessons and staying on the path of dark even if I'm not there.

So you faked sick then practiced? Unexpected but you did the challenge so well done, now we started off easy but don't expect thek all to be that simple my dear.

As for your challenge, it was annoying and honestly I don't see why you gave me it. Anyway, it was a Saturday and I got uo early as usual giving polite nods to those I passed on my way to the grounds where I kept myself busy with weightlifting and broom training until it was the evening where I ate dinner then went to bed. When I came across anyone, I only gave the an nod and no comments. So it was annoying but challenge completed


Now, my dear as payback for that challenge you gave me. Yours will be extra difficult but don't worry if you succeed in doing this ine then your nexts will be easy

I'm sorry it's been so long since I've been in touch. Life has been a bit stressful but I'm sure you'll understand. The winter holidays are getting closer and closer and I was wondering if we could meet?

My dear, I knew your challenges would be tough and believe me, you opened the gate. Now we are playing for real. But I guess you did your challenge, by your standards the simple nod is probably really nice.

But of course you kept your promise, your next challenge was really hard. And you know me, I'm honest, so even with my defeat. I'm sorry to disappoint you, there was no punch in anyone's face. In a little defence, no one was rude to me or pushed me. But I accept this challenge as defeat but maybe I can make you proud one day by doing this callenge later when the time is right and know that the next one will not be easy again. Thanks for that.

But now it's time for your next challenge -Mister Alluring's third challenge
The next time you have a fight, for example with your brother, or someone pushes you, you must not fight back with your fists. Try to avoid the fight.

Quidditch is pretty good we have the next game against Ravenclaw in January. How's that going for you? I could put a bit more effort into classes but I guess it's all still within reason, you know.

Dear Haley,

Are you alright? What's wrong? It is only a challenge, nothing of importance so it doesn't matter if you completed it or not but are you okay? Is the stress coming from a someone?

My best wishes for your quidditch match, I hope you win and give a few opponents a black eye or two. Grades and school, what a pathetic excuse to give people a chance at competitions and seeing whoes better. Your intelligent, I'm sure your grades are fine.

As for me nothing relevant, there's quidditch pratice and weight training. Classes which are dull and mu personal exercises. Nothing ever happens at Dumstrang, my dear.

Are you sure your alright?

As for your challenge, I report back that I spent the day yesterday as a punching bag for a hour and still completed your dare. That was a good one but it will take a bit more till I refuse my dear.

Yesterday, after classes a bloke bumped into a me from my last class and then asked me to apologize. I refused telling him that his clumsiness isn't my fault so he shoved me and I didn't raise a fist. I calmly suggested parting ways before he got his thick skull hurt then he punched me.

I'm fine, they didn't hurt after all he was rather weak and small.

Now for your challenge, my dear miss Rose...
Walk up to someone you don't like and tell them that their opinions and ideals of you are nonexistent

Sounds like Durmstrang could use a Haley Rose to make something happen there. I wouldn't want you my dear to be bored there all day, week, month and year.

You did what? Oh, Charles, I think the question is, are you alright? I'm sorry, but I'm incredibly proud of you. Still, I'd like to know the name of the bloke so I can return the favour. Well, I'll train a bit until then, but maybe I'll get at least one punch in before I'm knocked out?

But since you, my dear, have fulfilled your challenge in spite of everything, this was of course my incentive to fulfil yours as well, without excuses. And accordingly, challenge done!

In my first few weeks back in my first year at Hogwarts I met a girl, Slytherin, insufferable and a real bit* Well, we didn't get off to a good start and there are really few people currently that I can say I really dislike. But she is definitely one of them. Well, unfortunately we are in the same year and see each other in class. Well, long story short. I was already having a bad day and then we had lessons together again and she didn't do anything, but seeing her annoyed me so much that I knew it was her. She's the one I'm going to tell. So I went straight to her after class ended and I try to quote.

Haley: "You're selfish, ignorant and you think you have the truth in spoonfuls. But let me tell you something, what you think and say and spread rumours about me is just a picture you've made up in your little head to suit yourself."
Slytherin nag: "E-Ehm Exc-"
Haley: "I'm not done yet. Don't pretend you know me, because you don't and you don't like me. But I can tell you something, I don't like you any more than you do."
After that, I turned and left.
Slytherin nag: You little sh*t.

Alright, I guess I'm no better than her, I also just have my picture of her. Well, that really wasn't nice and actually she really hadn't done anything to me that day, but it felt good, I felt better afterwards.

Now for your challenge, dear mister Alluring:

Dear Haley,

Are you sure your alright? Nothing beyond the normal that is bothering you?

School can be stressful at times, just take a breath and try to stay calm. Fine something that helped you relax.

How did your quidditch match go?

I'm proud of you Haley, your held your head up and stood your ground. Your spoke your mind and didn't care about the aftereffects or consequences. Your learning, your becoming more into the dark side. I have to buy you round of butterbeer sometime to celebrate, I'm proud of you.

Don't worry about me. I'm alright, I deal with worse and sometime like that daily. Dumstrang is Dumstrang.

For youe challenge, I had some fun with this one and did you know wands can be poked anyway?

So I found the guy a day or two ago a few hours before curfew, I punched him in the eye then tackled him. We rolled on the ground for a bit and then punched him in the eyes and nose which is when I took out my wand and poked him in the eye with it.

Interesting how you were able to use your wand in a whole new way. Even though I shouldn't say it, I'm glad you were able to return the favour to that guy. Even though, on the contrary, I'm against violence. I guess that must be some kind of influence on me. There couldn't be a better influence than yours.

As I have already revealed, I have completed your challenge. At this very moment. As much as I have enjoyed this change of pace my dear Charles, I still need to get back to a harder level of our little game.

Dear Haley,

I'm here if you ever need a ear, I might be showing you the ways of the dari side but you can also talk to me. You know that whatever you day to me in confidence stays between us, right?

January when? Well good luck and strength training is what I do. Allows others to see that your strong and not one to be taken lighten so in the field your abilities unsettles your opponents.

Dumstrang doesn't have matches. We have one quidditch team, one broom racing team, and one dueling team. We practice and hold scrimmages but any official matches are held aginest others.

Durmstrang doesn't have houses unlike Hogwarts. Students here are separated by gender, male in one tower and female in the other. Then within the towers students can advance closer to the room for better sleeping quarters based off of one's position or status.

Straight O students, quidditch players, players for other sports, head boy or girl are a few positions that can aid in your advancement of your tower.

I'm glad you got to treat yourself. Enjoy the butterbeer and the small moments of life. No matter what you say, it is a big deal because with each challenge completed the closer you come to the dark side. The more dark you become. So rise the glass high for yourself, for embracing the dark side. Miss Haley Rose, my friend.

I never have been one for spells or course work but wands can be used for more than merely magic. It is a stick, is it not? A wand can be the perfect weapon if you can't think of a spell in time.

Your challenge wasn't difficult and im gald for that. Not one for violence? Maybe I am rubbing off on you, after all.

Your influence is alright at best. At as rash or as violent as others but a thinker, someone who thinks before they act. Thay can serve you well. Think on the ways to mess with someone or get revenge than that will be so much more sweeter in the end.

Yes, don't worry the challenges will go back to their difficulty. This was just a lax one, a break from the pressure and stress of it all. Plus it migjt have been my christmas gift to you.

Since it's the holiday and you asked to meet, challenged me actually. I can meet you tomorrow noon, the other days I have planned to spend with other friends and such. This holiday I plan to not spend not more than a day with my family and so far it has worked.
